Not aware since June 2022 of any progress after the court granted eminent domain rights and the TC CEO quit. A nice video though questions thIs video does not come close to answering: When will the endeavor break ground? How does Amtrak actually help at all with any of the construction? What good is a 90 minute ride when most riders need over an hour's drive just to get to a station? HSR may be overkill. Perhaps a diesel semi-high speed train averaging 80-90 mph for a 2:40-3:00 ride would be a better alternative on this 240 mile route.
