Totally agree with your comment, I’m in my 50s my dad‘s in his 80s early 80s, and we did last year in 2022 live with Adam and his dad are doing, and I see in Adams Dad, the exact expression, like my father would do when we were there Where he grew up, and how they get hypnotized that sometimes they’re talking, and it seems like they’re not even aware that you’re there, and you always wonder what’s going through their minds at the moment, fun, I did ask my father, and probably someday my kids will take me like I did my father. But I totally agree with their comment.

You two are having so much fun. Thank you for taking us along. Warms my heart. Wish my dad were still here. I remember spending one afternoon with him on a Navy minesweeper that docked locally. It was the best afternoon. He knew everything and every nook and cranny on the ship, even though it was modernized since he was in Korean War. Bless you both for taking this trip together!
Thank goodness Adam didn't push him like he did his sister and her friend. 😂 That wouldn't have gone so well. Adam is so fortunate to have such wonderful parents.
I remember those merry-go-rounds, we'd get 'em to go so fast & try to switch positions w/o falling off, or just try jumping off w/o falling down. I spent my childhood summers in MIssissippi & Louisiana, where my adoptive mother's people were from. My adoptive daddy was from WV & one day shortly before he died (cancer), he & I took my son for a drive around all the places we'd lived when I was growing up & properties his family had lived on/owned when he was a boy/young man. We didn't say much, but drove around until sundown, taking a pic of my kid on a wooden gate/fence at sunset. A good day, indeed. So cool u two get to share this entire roadtrip - your dad's having a blast, & you're not far behind. Shared memories & laughter, so good to have/hear. Cheers!
This is awesome seeing you and your dad on this trip I wish I had been able to do something like this with my father. I've re watched this a couple times now. It truly warms my heart to see these two together reminiscing about dads childhood. Blessed to have this kind of relationship with our parents
So many touching moments in this one. Some say you can never go home, but you can. You just can’t stay in a world that’s no longer there. After college, I used to take my widowed Mom on road trips like this. She was a character, and we had so many laughs and good times along the miles. Now that she’s gone, I often relive the places we went. I see a bench where she sat, a restaurant table where we had a great dinner, but mostly, an empty passenger seat. And it’s bittersweet to think that the last time we visited a place, was the last time we’d ever visit together, and I didn’t even know it.
Adam, this is SO precious! We love Papa Woo! Also, as a fellow Mississippian this was so wonderful to see! Honestly, the ending was the absolute favorite part! Keep up the great work!

Guess what! I too was born in Ms-Hattiesburg. Graduated from Petal High in 1965. Loved the fact you took your Dad back to his home . I left Ms when I was 19 &
moved to CA. I still live near Lake Tahoe. That was great seeing the church. My little brick church looks the same. Back then at my church they called it'd inner on the ground". Wonderful memories!
Loving this series ... this day4 is my favorite so far👍 dad is sooo adorable on that playground ride, LOL, you get your kookiness from dad ... I love these road trip videos, especially seeing and hearing first hand accounts of real life events... thanks for bringing us along guys🙂
The merry go round scene will forever be in my mind and heart ♥️ this is so perfect........
Your dad spinning on the roundabout so funny he looked like he was having so much fun 😆
I am loving this series with your dad. What an incredible experience you two are having. I promise you he’ll talk about this the rest of his days. I’ll never be able to do something like this so I am living vicariously through you. Savor it brother. No matter how much time we think we have, it’s not enough. Thanks Adam!
The first hand accounts are great. A real special recollection of memories with you and your dad.
Two Thumbz 👍👍
I can only imagine what good memories his dad has just being there seeing all the buildings and places he knew as a boy. So nice ♥️
Adam, you have made yourself quite a personal treasure with this video series... :) Wonderful work!
Love the peanut story. That's what real loving family history is. Thank-you for sharing Adam x
I'm loving this series and watching DADam the Woo reliving his memories.
It's so cool watching these videos. I was born in 1973 in May. It was cool seeing the picture of your first home in May of 73. I was born in St Louis.
Dude, you got me all choked up. This is such a wonderful thing to experience with your pops. Thank you for sharing this!
My schedule has required me to be up extra early this week and it's been nice having these longer cut, slower paced videos to ease the sting.
You sound just like your dad. You have the same inflections in your voice and tone. It's so nice to hear. Good speaking voice.
Your dad is the same age as mine, and has the exact same memory. He can remember the most inane details. I love watching this road trip.
This series with your dad is feel good television. Bringing back so many childhood memories. I love it 🥰
Weeeeeee… went from “Push me, dad… weeeee” ..to dad says: “weeee….push me”.. the circle of life! 😂
Cheers!
Two handsome gentleman:). Thank you Adam the Woo for the vlog.
Your Dad seems to be a good guy! Its great for you to have a good relationship with him.
This is awesome seeing you and your dad on this trip I wish I had been able to do something like this with my father. I can see how much the two of you are alike " the apple does not grow far from the tree". Your dad seems so kind, loving, genuine , with a great sense of humor just like you I would love to see him preach on any given Sunday God bless yo
Your stories with both your parents are wonderful Adam...thank you.
As your dad said "Time marches on", so cool to see these small towns where time stood still. Thanks for sharing these incredible moments with us!!💙😃✌🤗
Adam, this is SO precious! We love Papa Woo! Also, as a fellow Mississippian this was so wonderful to see! Honestly, the ending was the absolute favorite part! Keep up the great work!
What a beautiful oral family history. You are so fortunate to be able to document your father’s memories. Thank-you for sharing.
Those of us watching who have lost our fathers I think feel a special appreciation for the time you are spending with your dad right now. Thanks for letting us tag along on this wonderful journey.
This is an amazing series Adam! So happy you and your Dad get this time together. Thank you for sharing these stories and adventures with us.
Your Dad's recollection of specific details and stories is amazing. I can tell by his voice and exuberance that this trip means the world to him. He reminds me of my southern Dad. What a great idea to revisit his youth. Full circle.
