I had the privilege of watching Denny play lots of times when I was going to college in Lewiston. I even got to hang and chat with him a few times. Such a treat and honor. Amazing player and and even more amazing person.
Denny, wow! really superb guitar work! You did your brother Lenny's stuff such deft justice. You have always been a great local Maine player. I remember the Club gigs days when your band Good & Plenty rocked the Ramada in great style. Your acoustic finger style is the bomb. Keep doing what you do. Really dug this video. Thank you!
That was terrific! I'm glad I followed the link from the Chetboard or I may have never found this. I wish I could see what you followed that up with. Will you be doing a show at CAAS this year? Nils
Thanks, bud. My guitar does have a piezo pickup - actually, six individual ones. One for each string. Plus a microphone built into the sound hole. But none of my videos feature my guitar plugged in. That's just the ole wood doing its job!
Wow you do Lenny proud .. he has never returned stayed in heaven. Thanks
I'm lucky enough to call Denny a friend, and I'll tell you that he is just as entertaining with or without a guitar. A born showman!
Speaking as a '' guitar player '' he's one guy I could dig all day long !
Wow ! Lenny Breau’s Bro is killing !
This man CAN REALLY PLAY, He's got that Breau blood in him for sure

He definitely does justice to Lenny's arrangement of "Freight Train". I think Lenny was very lucky to have Denny as a brother.
He takes obvious joy in the music and the memories. Great playing.
Great Denny! btw I saw Lenny at Le Hibou in Ottawa in 1970. Made a lasting impression on me. Thanks so mcuh for reviving these tunes and great playing
