What is a woman?... The MASTERPIECE of humanity. In the art world there are rough-drafts and masterpieces. Rough-drafts are flawed, whereas, MASTERPIECES are FLAWLESS. Thus, the real reason that the carrier of LIFE is distilled within the MASTERPIECE. Leave it to a rough-draft and life will end as we all know it.

4:17 they couldn’t answer your question because the way etymology works is that when people are asked if they consider someone to be a man or a woman, their subconscious gives them the answer and their subconscious does not tell them how they got to the answer so they don’t know offhand the specifics of the decision tree that they go through when determining who to call a man and who to call a woman. This is my solely personal experience with the use of the words "gender" and "sex". When I was young sex was a dirty word and may initiate unpleasant conversations. So we use the word gender in place of the word sex . Two words, same meaning, two sexes, two genders. Male and female
Sex = biology, male and female
Gender= societal, men and women
Gender is fluid, sex is binary. Simple
I agree it is a dirty word, that means two things gender is more specific.
I disagree completely. Sex is not a dirty word, because sex is not dirty. It is a gift from God to be enjoyed between a husband and wife in unity, to create their family. What makes it dirty is people abusing sex in the first place, but that is about individuals corrupting something and not the natural state.
Biological sex, shortened to the noun sex, refers to male or female, or the role the body plays in reproduction. Males fertilize, females incubate.
Sexual intercourse, shortened to sex the verb, is the act that leads to fertilization.
Neither sex the verb or sex the noun are bad! Stop giving children complexes and feeling guilty about their own bodies (another gift from God)! Instead, teach respect and love and responsibility.
And as for gender and sex? Your intentional conflation of the terms is what gave rise to transsexual becoming a bad word and transgender becoming in vogue, meaning people could then twist it from biological sex to how one interprets their sexual identity through their personality. _Your lack or maturity regarding the word sex is what let males into female sports, locker rooms, etc._
Gender is most closely like a sex based personality, like the Meyer's-Briggs tests that were big a few years ago. ENFJ or ISTP? How about Vixen for the females and Playboy for the males? Wallflower and Nerd? Tomboy vs Femboy? Gender is rooted in sex, the same way the model of a car is based on the make.
Grow up and let gender and sex be their own things. If they were synonyms then 7 year old me wouldn't have asked my teachers about in back in the 90s when we were discussing the Amendments on a wall mural. EOE wouldn't need to specify both sex and gender if they were the same thing. Oh, and again, keeping sex as biological and gender as a behavior profile would automatically close any and all arguments about trans in women's activities. Make it bio-sex only. End of story.
Stop running from reality because you're embarrassed to talk about sex. Kids know the difference between hens and roosters, stags and does, bulls and cows. They should be given the correct vocabulary at an age appropriate time to describe such observations.

So so it’s factually incorrect that your definition is the descriptive definition. it definitely is the prescriptive definition, but it’s not the descriptive definition and if you think that your definition is a descriptive definition then you (Matt Walsh) are among the people who are denying reality.
if what you say at 0:50 is true then how can it also be true that there is an etymological paradigm with the following axiom? “The only people who are referred to as, “women” are biological females.” The prescriptive definition of the word woman is biological essentialist, but the descriptive definition is dependent on whatever society decides for it to be.

Funny you should mention that. This is just one of the many ways foreign entities are destabilizing democracy and western societies.
