Yal should react to Puscifer - Rev 22 : 20 or Puscifer - The Rapture (Fear Is a Mind Killa Mix) or Puscifer - Sour Grapes (where’s the line? Mix) or just listen to them in ur spare time, iono
"Loud Krazy Love" wasn't really about Brian's testimony specifically. It was about his relationship with his daughter and what God has done there.
It was also produced by a secular major media corporation (i believe A&E but i could be wrong) so there's a certain element of having to sort of tone down the message a little bit. It's also possible that the tone of the message was set by the editing, which was not under Brian's direct control either.
I'm not necessarily saying you guys were wrong, just adding more context to the film.
I also want to second the previous comment and add that Brian actually has been an active and (for lack of better word )
Vibrant believer since 2005. So I think the term newer christian is maybe not correct in this case and also the documentary mentioned is not about him. He has lots of other stuff out there about himself and maybe it would be good to hear from him personally about his faith and relationshio with Jesus.
I am totally not arguing about being cautious. I believe strongly that we should be very careful to not put a human on a pedestal that only Jesus is worthy to be on. Looking up to people is fine and respecting is good and allowing yourself to be taught.
alot of people don't know that Fieldy from Korn is also a Christian... and he actually got saved before Brian did I do believe... and whoever was first, they were not instrumental in the other's saving... not directly anyways... Fieldy actually talks about it in an interview
If I'm not mistaken Munky is as well, i think I saw an interview a year or so ago
Fieldy was saved in 2007 head was in 2005 and munky is not
Yeah Brian was saved during his downward spiral into meth. Fieldy was saved while his father was dying (or maybe right after) a few years after Brian. But the rest of the Korn guys aren't. But yes, neither had a hand in each other's turn to Jesus.
The guys that aren’t saved in the korn have all been influenced by the 2 that have. The whole band is sober now. That’s freaking huge.
Yes...Brian "Head" Welch was singing. You should check out Love & Death 1st album. Really good.
Also check out Brian's book, referencing his life in Korn, then becoming a Christian and turning completely away from music.
He has actually been a believer for over 12 years.
Yep, I remember Brian “Head” Welch talking about how he found Christ on TBN in the mid 2000s
The album is Between here and lost. Really well done album!
Going forward most of Love and Death's vocals, including on Perfectly Preserved, are actually going to be done by JR Bareis. Yes Head will be in there as well, but it'll mostly be Bareis.
Brian didn't do all the lyrics ever in his existence in Love and death as he created it. It's a mix from Brian that that lead guitarist from Breaking B. Both of them share Choruses throughout eveyr song and technically the Breaking B member is a back up lyricist. The bassist does some FX Vocals but that's it.
What really sets Brian's Vision separating it from Korn is Instead of the vision Johnathan had for Korn is quite opposite of that in " HEAD" and later in the Full release name "Love and Death"! of all the stories of being Reborn Love and Death Nails every emotion and they do it sharing the Vocalist talents between All band members minus the drummer. You might even Catch the drummer Vocals to as he to has a MIC!!!
Its kinda cool watching Gage grow up before our eyes lol
Hey guys, Brian is so solid in the faith and he's a revivalist, healing the sick and praying for people after his live shows. Maybe you should watch Holy Ghost or Holy Ghost reborn documentaries where he is featured alongside Todd White talking about his experience with the Holy Spirit.
His story is so inspiring! 😇
Quite fun to hear Head sing since he barely only sings backing vocals in Korn.
Barely? He's always been the backing that harmonized Davis. That's why when he left, the melodies were so different
He’s got great voice! 😇
@@ericnagle4899 I'd argue that the whole 2006-2008 period of touring was their best backing vocal wise. Kalen Chase has a crazy good voice
Eric .... he left due to addiction...... had NOTHING to do with singing.....
@@stevensimard814 I think you may have misread or misunderstood what he said
God is good and Jesus is King! Amen!
It is Head and JR singing. Head does the more harsh sounding and screaming vocals, and JR is the more clean and anthemic vocals
I know a lot of people keep pointing out that Jason of Breaking Benjamin is in the band now, but no one is pointing out that Isaiah of Phinehas is also in the band! So cool. Btw, you guys gotta react to some of their stuff. Also, would love to see you guys break down new ERRA.
Or Brian from Korn lol I mean he is the vocalist
@@jayzisa lol not sure if that's sarcasm. Ofc everyone knows that.
@@jasonlovesmusicreacting882 man you'd be amazed lmao
Jason has also done work with Red and Family Force 5, among others. JR is also in the band Spoken.
This is a Christian metal/rock super group.
@@testingmyaudioaddiction3452 Family Force 5.... Now that's a name I have not seen in a long time lol.
Please do a reaction to washed by blood by Brian “head “ Welch
That is an amazing suggestion! Great track bro!!
I've always loved hearing Brian sing, even if it was just a scream here and there in Korn.
I also love how this is their first release in several years and they're improved so much in that time.
Fun fact: There are two singers here. One is Brian, and the other is J.R, the guitar player.
Thank you Pastor I need that word, going on a year without my wife on dec 3rd and to hear those words about joy in the sorrow is what I needed to hear, God is good. May God continue to bless you and your family in all that you do.
I don't usually comment on youtube. But I definitely felt like saying this.. Knowing info on Brian's life and story, it just reflects that. "I feel like Im runnin' out of time"... Head has spoken on this before, saying when he wasn't saved and was heavy on drugs, he actually knew he was running out of time, and that if he continued, one day he wasn't going to wake up. Head knew he was running out of time before he even knew christ.
"I have seen the slow disaster, wreckage of my life". I feel is him looking back on his life of drug use, promiscuity, introducing a child to the influence, etc.
Pastor rob, you make a good point. As a new christian we can't inflate these people, put them on a pedestal, it can damage their growth. BUT, I feel there's a good lack of knowledge on how STRONG and far Head has came with his faith. I would not refer to him as a baby in the faith. He admitted on a talk show he has been CELIBATE for 15 years!!!! He said he changed his life for Christ and he went in with his whole heart. That even meant stopping sex & pornography use. Just youtube some recent interviews. He's soo concrete in his faith, you can SEE the great maturity he has. He has a very good foundation on the rock of Christ, I don't fear he will ever be taken off. I encourage you to watch his discussions he has with pastor J on the channel "Real Talk". You'll be enlightened.
Thank you both and all those behind the scenes supporting you. I'm so grateful for your videos and messages, especially during these crazy times we live in. It's refreshing to have uplifting messages and conversation. Thank you, love you all and God bless you all.
Glad you posted tonight. I can always use more of these videos in my life. Love you brothers.
God is good 👍
Your break down of the song really spoke to me as I'm a new Christian and struggle with depression amongst other stuff I felt as if you were talking right to me thank you
Another band member in Love and Death is J.R. Bareis from Spoken. I would love to see a reaction to one of the newer Spoken songs like "Fallen". Other than that I would really want to see another reaction to a Wolves At The Gate song. They have A LOT of Biblical subject matter to talk about in their music.
Wolves....man I remember doing shows with them locally in like 2011 when they first really got out there...miss them
Thanks for react this song 🙏👍❤️I'm a big Brian fan, I follow his story with excitement all these years 🤩🙌
We have the same vintage and I grew up with KoRn 🤘
The first album of Love&Death has only great songs 👌God bless you all 🙏❤️
It sounds exactly like an early RED song (I know their bassist worked with RED so that might explain it). But I love that song.
Dang you didn’t waist any time with this video. JR plays guitar for the band Spoken and Isaiah is the drummer for Phinehas
i love spoken.
The Bassist is Jason, the guitarists from Breaking Benjamin and was also the guitarist for Red.
Its Head singing and also JR Bareis sings the second verse. Jasen Rauch is the producer which is in Breaking Benjamin but he also founded the band Red which is another Christian band. Which is all pretty cool how they are all connected. Looking foward to their new album been waiting for it.
I was super glad to hear gauge talk lol.most people cant see god and community in the art...but we see you and love you
Holy crap! Last time I saw a Pastor Rob Reacts video, Gabe looked like he was 14 lol. Glad you guys are still making these videos.
Love your reactions! As a believer myself, it's great to have that perspective on the internet. I hope you continue on this path!
Brian Welch was the main singer, except for the 2nd verse. Admittedly, I don't know who that was.
Their 1st album from 8 years ago was phenomenal. Highly recommend listening to it, especially "Chemicals" and "Meltdown".
God bless!
That would be JR Baries, their guitar player
Loved the Psalm comparison. Really did give me hope for those areas deep inside where you believe light will never reach.
Ooo...I hope Brian Welch, or JR sees this!!!! You could tag them on Instagram! Yes it was Brian singing, but JR also sang a small part in one of the breaks.
That’s awesome!!
JR is the main singer on their cover of Let Me Love You and let me say, the dude is an amazing singer. We need more of him singing for Love and Death.
Its actually not JR singing, it's the guitarist, the one from the band Spoken
The Abandoning, Meltdown, Paralyzed, Chemicals, Lo Lamento from Love and Death or even Flush from Brian on his first album Save Me From Myself is great and I think you would like all of them
Their version of Whip It is amazing too!
This doesn’t half sound like Korn! (I guess that’s kinda obvious !!) Love it!!
Love this song, God is so good!!
In high school through reading an article about Head converting to Christianity in a Guitar World magazine the Holy Spirit reached me and I accepted Christ later that summer. I was drawn to the article partly b/c I loved/love Korn and also b/c of what he was saying in the article seriously, and before I knew out of literally nowhere I was drawn to the Bible and accepting Christ personally short after.
In the same token of Brian not being able to teach. I grew up a Catholic. My life turned at 23 I was drinking in the morning if I was off work I drank till passed out in the evening. My life was horrible 2 cars repossessed. I had fear I let down God so I started giving up. At 29 I had a few friends help me and Family. I used the 12 steps to get sober but Brian’s story helped me a ton. I am not the best but I started seeing if his life is better mine can be through God. His story can help others it has with mine.
Check out “washed by blood” by Head
Back me up fam
I always say this but; “Mistakes like Fractures” by Knocked Loose!!!!!!!
Awesome song 👊😇
I second that
I third that!
Appreciate your knowledge and viewpoint as always. Thank you 🙏
The member of Breaking Benjamin is Jasen Rauch formerly of RED. I hear a ton of Breaking Benjamin and Red in this as well as bits of Korn
yeeeessss, love and death! now it's just a small step to Heads solo stuff. Can't wait, but meanwhile: thank you for this, Pastor Rob, it was a real pleasure!
Love & Death omfg yes!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😔
Great Ear the bassist is the lead guitarist from Breaking Benjamin. And Brian head is on lead vocals and J.R Bareis is lead guitarist and backing vocals on second verse.
I look to you lord ! In Jesus holy name ! Amen 🔥
the vocals are truly surreal! i just pre-ordered this record. Great reaction guys!
Awesome just love it.
That is Brian Welch singing. You should definitely react to their song "By the way"!
You guys are great. Keep doing your thing!
I swing between these guys and D-Gibby as my favourite UA-cam reactors... both awesome!!!
Love you guys!
I absolutely love u guys.
I love everything you guys are doing!
Down is one of my favorite songs of all time and I've been listening to metal since the 80's. I'd love to get your reaction to ERRA's Disarray. Another one of my favorites. cheers and god bless
Amazing band and vocals
JR sounds good wow! A long time coming I hope they tour.
... I miss live shows!! 🥲🥲🥲
Awesomeness
From what I understand, Head did the chorus and the first verse. JR did the pre-chorus and the second verse. Love their dual vocal approach that they've been doing with their last few songs.
Averaged sevenfold warmness on the soul an dear god you guys will like them there good songs
Yea man.. Pop is feelin it 👊👊👊👊
Head was saved like 12 years ago. So not so new to the theology. So he isn't so green as you think. I do enjoy this band and something has drawn me to them and really enjoying the group.
That breakdown though🔥🔥🔥🔥
The valley's are the place that builds our character in Christ. Love it
Great choice and discussion is always the best. Random song suggestion but a band that's underrated and has been pushed to the wayside. Can you guys look into Rapture by Hurt?
Temporarily fell off posting my usual song request, but I'm back at it again because I'm convinced you guys will thoroughly enjoy this song. React to Shades of the Future by Seraphim! 🤘
This band is so underrated.
I don't know if you already have but please scrutinize and examine Flyleaf - 'Beautiful Bride' and 'Chasm'.
As well as 'Stay with me' and 'Follow me' by 'In Flames'.
Awesome take on that song
thanks for this reaction. keep up the great work for Jesus Christ our soon and returning King.
Love it
I'm loving this father & son.
I can definitely hear hints of Korn and Breaking Benjamin. Pretty decent
Yes mate!! I got that too!! 👊🧐
Bits of Red as well
Very cool song. Goosebump material. And very good production.
the singers are Brian and the lead guitarist from Breaking Benjamin
Oooo this gave me chills!
I had Head’s first album he released after he became a Christian. It’s probably been over 10 years since that came out, so I’d imagine he’s pretty solid in his faith by now. That album definitely had more of a nu metal sound. I think it was in that box of CDs I gave you.
I get sound from Breaking Benjamin and Korn in this. Best song on the new album but not the only one worth listening to by any means.
Great song. Listening to it reminded me of Thousand Foot Krutch... you should react to them. Their song "War of Change" is great.
My kind of pastor 🤘
Brian sings the first verse/choruses/ screaming parts and J.R. the lead guitarist sings the second verse.
Both the vocalist (Head) and guitarist (JR) are original members of the band. Fun fact, JR got his start in this band around 15-16 years old.
Head - Vocals (Korn)
JR Bareis - Guitar (Spoken, Playfair, ex Islander)
Isaiah Perez - Drums (Phinehas, ex Spoken)
Jasen Rauch - Breaking Benjamin
Jasen Rauch got his start with Red
Brian head Welch is the vocalist of the group
They were really self-controlled for a first earing, the first time I eared this song I was definitely too busy headbangind to understand the lyrics. Well done !
Pastor had the stank face when the beat dropped..LOL
im fully an atheist but i love your videos. i feel atheists and Christians should accept each other regardless what we believe. we should all accept each other. also to add to that i like hearing his bible reading that are actually relevant. i may not believe in it but i respect it and like hearing it.
I feel like this song reflects someone battling with suicidal thoughts. It’s an area Brian had wrestled with in the past. The feeling of all your past, all the elements that led to a “life of wreckage”. I lied & I died makes me think of the feeling that the feelings are self inflicted, a crazy spiral that tries to get out and still finds yourself deeper still.
Jason was also in Red for the first two albums.
Y’all need to react to, Oh, The Depth, there song Nail Scarred Feet is epic! It’s melodic death metal, blackened deathcore and some other stuff.
Can you do Vapors by Wolves at the gate ?!? The harmony’s are IMMACULATE
I did find this Psalm encouraging after you explained it. I always wondered why the Bible contains lines that read of distrust and abandonment. I have struggled with that for a while and just chose to ignore it because I figured I didn't understand fully what it was supposed to be saying, or maybe the true meaning got lost in translation. I struggle with depression and often feel abandoned by friends and family, so lines like that about feeling abandoned by God scared me in a way. Like what if I am so messed up that God has forgiven me, because of Jesus, but he still doesn't want to be bothered by me. If that makes any sense. I am in a really bad spot right now and I am just fully believing that God will provide answers in his own way and time. I know there is a reason for this. If you don't mind, and you have read this far, please say a prayer for me and my family. Also, just as a sort of sidebar, if you are a person that says you will pray for someone, do it there. Silent prayer or out loud, whatever feels right for the moment. It doesn't have to be a long prayer, God knows what it is about. This is something my pastor taught me, out of everything I learned I have taken this one thing to heart the most. If I love people, which I say I do and I try to do, then I need to pray for them when they need prayer. Later, you may forget... just a thought.
Also if Rob himself reads this, thank you so much for letting your son have the freedom to listen to music outside of Christian influence. I have had many people tell me that I shouldn't listen to this band or that band because of this, that or the other which made me feel even more abandoned at times.
No matter how many times you’ve been abandoned lean harder on God every time. It’s a spirit that creeps in on those u love or depend on. They can’t help it so love them and wish them well and pray they grow stronger in God so they can stand no matter what. It’s not about you or your fault. He will never leave or forsake you!!... when u have done all u can to stand, stand any way!!....
This song gets heavy rotation on Way Loud, and I love it!
Another great song of theirs is I W8 4 U ft. Mattie Montgomery from For Today.
You guys should definitely react to breathe into me by red
Yes that’s an iconic song from RED.
God bless from malaysia🙏
Florida man reacts: "whoever that was did good".....just bustin chops, I love you guys!
The first Love and Death album was great. The 2 songs off of this album so far sound right on par.
You mentioned "Loud Krazy Love" , the song in the credits of that doc will also be on this album.
brian welch sings the first verse, second verse is the guitarist
This is exactly what I'm going through this evening, psalm 13,
Head is a Todd White follower. Works closely with Todd often.
Yeah, shame that 🙃
Hey Pastor Rob, you guys should check out Phinehas - Dyson Sphere
The whole The Last Word Is Yours to Speak album is sick..
Pattern in pain would be better, i love the solo of that song.
So I’m a huge fan of Head, and have loved how he shares Christ through his music. I was watching a movie Called American Gospel that is about how misleading the prosperity gospel is in America right now, and I was kind of disappointed when I found out that Brian “Head” Welch is really involved with preachers and teachers who are teaching the prosperity Gospel. I haven’t heard him teach these ideals directly, but I was honestly very disappointed when I found this out. He still is doing a lot of good though
I dont know if yall have listened to They Will Fall, but their songs seem to have a lot to unpack! Might be fun!
Please if you guys have not heard of chevelle. You need to treat yourself. I would personally suggest Jars or Take out the Gunman
It'd be neat to hear commentary on Shameful Metaphors or Well Enough Alone.
Break the silence - For Today👍
Ghosts of Perdition is a great song, with deep meaning! Not only does it have a large tie with Christianity, but it is a beautiful song and one of my favorites!
JR sings second verse and background vocals..
I’m so looking forward to hearing you react to “Popular Monster” by Falling in Reverse
That does help
