Most wanted feature that is currently missing from the NVR software: One or two click saving of snapshot jpg (single frames) from captured video to a USB thumb drive. At the moment I can save just a few seconds of video, but not a single frame. and if I try to email the video clip to someone, usually they cannot access it, because they don't yet have the Microsoft High Definition Video Codec.

G'day, I have just upgraded the firmware on my NVR (16) Now I am relearning all the features as it has a new layout but it also matches the new instruction video you put out. I have seen that it now has more than 16 dispay positions. Does that mean I can run/display more than 16 camera feeds? e.g. could I run 8 regular cameras, 2 dorbell, 2 PTZ, 5 duo cameras and a floodlight/spotlight (total 16 POE connections)? I have had the Reolink system since April 2021 and it has been easy enough to work out how to use and set up. I am usuing 13 cameras at the moment. One is a PTZ. I do not use notifications as I would probably have constant alarms going off. As I an get a lot of pedestrian trafic the PTZ is better aimed at where everybody mast pass by rather than try to track the odd person walking past. I have started uploading some CCTV to UA-cam if you want to see what some of my real life results are like. I turn on floodlights every night so that I can run several cameras in colour mode. Currently, when the TrackMix camera is connected to the NVR, the NVR monitor can display its dual images and the iOS app does not support dual-image display. If a camera is damaged by buglers and doesn’t power up or stolen but it was connected to Reolink NVR, cn you retrieve footage within the NVR for the camera?

Footage is recorded onto the HDD and should be able to be accessed if need be, with or without the camera. In OP's case, if I need to see who vandalized the camera, I should be able to see the footage.
Can share just one camera to a friend? I have 2 Nvrs. I am renting a garage space and want to share just the 1 camera. Or can I only share my whole account, or just one NVR and not the other
If you connect the camera directly to the NVR, then you can not share just 1 camera instead of sharing all the cameras in the NVR. If you connect the camera via the POE switch to the NVR, then you can share the camera separately with your friend.
Hi, Reolink NVRs do not support cloud storage. But you can download videos to your computer via Reolink Client or upload videos to the FTP server for backup.

OK in my garage i have 3 POE cameras connected to a POE switch and bridged to my main router at my house. Cameras come in fine on my computer buuut theyre not recording on my NVR they have no playback. Is there a setting or a way to have the NVR record those bridged cameras????? Or put them in nvr channel list. Right now they appear as a device next to the NVR. I thought they would automatically connect to the NVR😬😬😬

Looking to buy Reolink for my home, but no information on how you support multi-hdd in the NVR. Is there RAID, can you upgrade from 1 disk to 3, what if 1 fails? This should be basic information available to all. And please explain how to download or delete individual video's. Also please fix your microphone before uploading more official video's.
I purchased an RLN36, but to my frustration, the web UI lacks the capability to add a camera. This is a total disappointment. Is there no live chat support available? This is outrageous!

You can view all the reolink nvrs via Reolink APP and Reolink Client.

Yes, it overwrites the earliest files when storage is full. You can also manually turn off overwrite and it'll stop recording once storage is full.

Yes, it could only support to playback one camera that over 8MP. Our engineers are trying to overcome it.
