Stage presence is when you are on stage with Aerosmith and all eyes are on you. It also helps if you can summon The Hammer Of The Gods
I got stoned and had this way cool dream that Jimmy Page was jamming with Aerosmith and they were covering old Yardbirds songs.
Would have bought tickets to the rehearsals in a heartbeat
I bought a ticket to it that same night from a girl who had a spare one, couldn`t believe my luck!!
This is better than watching the show! Amazing footage
I've always enjoyed rehearsals and sound checks way more than a formal show I've seen a few and for me, it smokes the show that night ..
@@lfader Agreed! Cuz they're just jamming, hanging out, being real and having fun
I was there!
@@mjh5437 Lucky!! I met Steven before at least in public...Super down to Earth dude
@@mjh5437 Soundchecks/ rehearsals better than any show personally .....🔥🌟
Without the lights and crowd and hype, it's just a bunch of guys doing what they did in the beginning, playing for the love of it.
Great to see Jimmy firing like this, moments remind me of a 71-72 Page.
the more JIMMY PLAYS, the better he sounds, and when he's happy, like here, having a good time, well it's the Jimmy we want... Plant doesn't seeem to understand that.
I suddenly realized that all these guys are much younger here than I am now...damn, right when I was thinking how old they looked!
@@joejones9520 Joe, it's all about the hair ... guitarists and vocalists know it's all about the hair, and if u don't have it, you can buy it...many rockers look like the rest of us when they're home with their weaves and wigs OFF!!
Very brief moments sadly.
But he played strong in 95-96 and by 98 was 90% of his prime. He never fully recovered from his H years and losing the GOAT 🥁
Damn, that Mother Popcorn was pretty tight! ...And that transition into All Your Love, slick.
Super cool! I especially like seeing the stagehands moving about or watching rehearsal, been there done that!
This is what I remember of rock and roll in the 80's
Thanks for sharing this. Awesome
Wow being a musician it’s really neat to see these legends working out the songs raw behind the scenes
Yea, but it helps if their names are the "Toxic Twins".
Being a door stop it's great to know that these humans may not appreciate me but they sure do need me
Jimmy Page playin' excellent With Aerosmith OH Yeah yeah yeah!!!
It’s amazing how much work and rehearsal their is in music..!! All that work to perfect a 4 minute song.. lol..!!
Many of kids quit playing instruments cause of all the work it takes to play.. then even MORE it takes for 4-5 people to get the timing down and gel together.
I play.. and it’s not easy.!!
So true!! Only those of us who really love it don't mind the time and hard work it entails. ☮❤☮
@@blindmelonstubbly oh yeah! Even though it's an overused word, lol, good chemistry is key! ☮❤☮
@@blindmelonstubbly
When zeppelin had their first jam session.. they played train kept a rollin and after.. they were awed at the chemistry..
I have come to realize the most fun is sitting by myself where no one can hear me and jamming out on electric guitar. Guitar sounds better without a band anyway.
@@DrumsTillDeath74
Yup..!! People don’t realize how much hard work is involved. Writing songs with a band isn’t easy... very hard...
Wow this is really really 😎!! Thx MZ❤️🎶👍
Awesome find.
Mark Zep . I freakin love these videos with jimmy post zep. I am also a lifelong fan of aerosmith. . rock and roll brother😎
I agree great footage.
That was AWESOME
So Cool!
The best ever page ❤💖💕💓♥💙
I can listen to this all day. Never knew Wilford was that good holding his own with Joe and Jimmy.
Brad is one of the most underrated guitarists on Earth...
I agree with you both! Brad is so underrated ! He's a great guitarist!

Family of misfits I love it this reminds me so much happiness you’re a family of misfits and I love you
Very Cool!!!🤘😃🤘
Steven does a great Version on Immigrant Song ... its a tough one ... one of Aerosmith s
finest Moments, I believe ....
That was cool!
Train Kep A Rollin'... Before Aerosmith was even a band, the Yardbirds were doing this tune!
Most Yardbirds versions I've heard were with Jeff Beck (who subsequently did it with The Jeff Beck Group). Actually the older versions kicked some serious ASS.
Too cool!!! An amazing hour or great musicianship.
No one rock-gurns like Page.
Have you seen the ARMS concert when he was so out of it he started drooling too?
Gosto muito desse pessoal, mas como eu, estão todos com o pé na cova.
Aproveitemos em quanto possivel.
E feliz de quem viveu essa época.
Wow!😀🥰😀🥰
Super,Labombastic,Fantastic, Školastic!!!!!!👍🤘👏🤝😍🏍️💓🙏🧠😇
Page is just having fun
I saw Jimmy Page had a photo with Band-Maid and his favorite drummer Akane.
Move over Rover, let Jimmy take over
For all the crap Jimmy got from everyone from critics to EVH he could pick up on any style of music as quickly as any MF out there. Go Jimmy Page! F#ckem' all!
Good collaboration page and Whitford played great concert shows this

Notice only Jim plays in total character. Brad though is subtle normally
I went to this and found a girl outside with a spare ticket..paid £50 for it which was a LOT of money for me back then, but worth every penny......I just read somewhere they`re going to clean up the whole gig and release it on DVD.
We’re did you hear that
I love how the roadies just turn their backs to this old git playing Immigrant Song behind them...
Steven Tyler 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Jimmy glancing over his shoulder and realizing Robert Plant isnt on the mic
I can be jimmy page groupie in a heartbeat 😜🤣
You wouldn`t be the first lol
I wonder where and or whom this comes from, eh, and huh?
Or even Reb Beach

Does anybody know whose little kid that is?
I like all these dudes equally, but i'm a guitarist and Jimmy doesn't sound great here, but he was great at one time. Brad is good and i have gotten deeper into his style over the years, but Joe is still my favorite, at least here. Joe comes up with awesome parts live and in studio and he's ALWAYS good sounding, to me.
I noticed that about Page, the heroin and coke deteriorated his lead chops. Joe and Brad can hold their own during this performance. Joe sounds cleaner than Page, and that's saying something.
Suddenly, all at once as if by magic, Nirvana appeared and nothing would ever be the same again!
Hardly, Jane's Addiction was already changing things up big time at this point.
@@dev21012 JA is somewhat forgotten right now but yeah I pretty much agree. Several bands were leading out of the retro trap into something new at the same time
Award for most random ass comment ever
"Alternative rock" as it was labeled, started before grunge. Jane's Addiction was a huge piece of that (1988). They sounded so different their music needed a label. Nine Inch Nails is another one, mainly the 1st record Pretty Hate Machine.
@@davehoward22 yes, that argument has been made and I prefer the music of 70s/80s personally. But no one from that world supplanted the old rock gods in mainstream culture. Cobain did do that.
HAHAHA, I'm 420 thumbs up... lol
Imagine being that Steven's ex girlfriend that left him to be a Zeppelin groupie in the 70's and seeing this...
Who leaves a rock star for another sure water thing now
I wanna smoke some of that Aerosmith Page Yardbird stuff man yea!
Those guys are all chewing the hell out of some gum, major coke vibe up in there
gum chewing a tell?
@@planetprince67 The way they are all frantically chewing is just one of many signs. They had to figure out some way to not grind there teeth down to nothing and it looks like gum is one of their methods. It's also just super obvious that they are super coked up, except maybe Page might not be
@@justinpaquette224 LMFAO! They're like talkin' and movin' around 'n' shit too!! Silly
'Done With Mirrors'
Aerosmith were off drugs by this point . Its the whole reason they were able to have a resurgence in the late 80s . Page was also not using drugs by this point but he was still drinking heavily in this era. He stopped drinking in the early 2000s
Steven Tyler would then go on and become one of the three new lead singers of Led Zeppelin in the year 2008 with Jason Bonham on drums and John Paul Jones on bass, piano, keyboards, and whatever else. The other two were Myles Kennedy from Alter Bridge, Slash And Miles Kennedy And The Co-conspirators, and Chris Cornell from Soundgarden and Audioslave. There would be EIGHTY new songs recorded then. This is from Jason Bonham himself who re-recorded one of these songs with his group Black Country Communion. 'tis naught a secret or conspiracy. 'tis true.
Wait, what?
Steven Tyler was never the new singer . He was given a try out and it did not work out . Page was not impressed with how he was acting and sent him packing. They considered going on the road with Kennedy but decided without plant it was pointless. Chis Cornell was never auditioned . People suggested it but nothing came of it. Tyler rehearsed with them for a few hours and basically insulted the material they had written saying the music was good but he did not hear any hits and then stupidly said I want to bring in an outside songwriter to help us write some hits . Page promptly walked out of the room and told an assistant to book Tyler a flight and get him the hell out of here. Tyler apparently was also not going through a good period with his voice and did not sing well but asking Jimmy page and jones to work with a hit making song writer was unforgivable to page . Led zeppelin were never a band that worries about radio hits . No one was ever actually officially hired for the job. The story about Cornell joining was just internet rumor . Cornell said he was never asked but would be flattered if they did .
@@adamwatson6916 lol based Steven Tyler just being realistic. He might be a pop douche at this point but when do these tired old rockers ever do anything to rival their peak output? They can’t and they don’t because they did it all already, and they’re old. Unless someone comes in with an actual fresh twist like Rick Rubin has done, other efforts to “be a rock band again” or something like that are a bit sad.
@@viciousattackvideo you sound like you’re 12 years old, hardly qualified to speak about Zeppelin.
@@adamwatson6916 "Led Zeppelin were never a band that worries about radio hits"
This is a joke, right?
Brad Whitford is the man......
Jimmy page is way more experienced than these stiffs!
Aerosmith is very experienced. Don't be an asshole
Frankincensed · I thank you. As Joe said it before. " We are not all virtuosos - but as a group - were pretty much unequalled ". That's from Aerosmith - DVD
" Gotta Move "
Bradley Whitford IMHO is the best guitarist of the three.
I was quite surprised the first time how many of my favourite riffs were played by Brad when I had always assumed Joe Perry played them!
Jimmy Page "slumming it."
Wtf????
Joe clearly runs the band.
Clearly not. They're all having their say.

Poor Joey? Kramer should thank he still there. Aerosmith's vocalist enters the 15 best of all time. Kramer doesn't enter even in the 100 best drummers. Saw them live 4 times... The drummer can barely move his arms
@@nicolasneri7738 He did the job for years. Their music didn't call for much intricacy, just a good beat, which Kramer managed to do just fine. Things may be different today though with age and all.
