As a Somalian i plan to visit Rwanda to learn more about the Tutsis. In northern somalia or the independent Region known as Somaliland we used to hear folk sings from our grandparents and it went something like this “ abaa Tutsi-ga aabaan ku lahaa. Which loosely translates to we had a father in the Tutsi or lost a father who is also the Tutsi

Why when somalis in Somalia are ethnic cleansing themselves or are you searching for more ppl that identify as somalis that you want to annihilate? Because you rather be controlled by foreign troops in Somalia because you can't get along and don't even follow the Sunnah or the Quran (except a few) and you're all tribalists. Midgaan is Somali and call them low caste remember that too! And if you're anything in life it came to you because u live in a foreign country that do t practice your silly African tribal nonsense!

in Awdal region of Somaliland we have traditional Somali songs mentioning the tutsi people. the song says abbaan duulaha abbaan u lahayn, abbaa tutsi ga abbaan u lahayn. which means; the war leaders of tusi belong to us (the people in Awal). in other words the lineage of the tutsi is arbiil madalluug dir which is subclan of the great dir tribe which is one of the biggest tribes in somalia. they say arbiile moved away from his people, because he got angry from his brothers. isaaq, biimaal, gaadsan, samaroon and ciisa are all dir tribes that inhabit Djibouti, somalia, somaliland, ethiopia and Kenya. certainly tutsi are dir clan.

Tutsi don't forbid intermarriages, it's just that in the precolonial era whoever married a Tutsi would drop their original identity and assume the Tutsi identity and thus all the children would be Tutsi(ukwihutura). So before then, the idea of intermarriage was unheard of.

@ you're kinda right but I'm still not wrong. Tutsi and Hutu weren't ethnic groups , one was pastoralist while the other was farmer, artisan... Interrmariage existed as I told, they share the same genetical components. All clans had both Tutsi and Hutu, the whites came and divided these clans by promoting featurism. Modern day Tutsi are obviously related to Hutu but their physical distinction (not always legit) tend to indicate a more important non bantu ancestry. For example if you separate light skinned afro american and dark skinned afro americans, many from both sides will be genetically the same but as a group, the light skin group will have more white admixture on average. Does that mean they are a completely separates group of people? No, blood brothers could be found on both sides but it does indicate that physical features can more or less predict a genetic variation of a group

"My thesis is that Egypt was the main outpost from where West African Kwa (Kwush/Kush) culture was exported to the rest of the world. Igbo is the Mega-Kwa language - the Kushite mother-language. Kush is the major bearer of this civilization. Ethiopia was not just an East Africa location, but lay West too. According to Homer, it was in Sunset Ethiopia that the Gods congregated, and the people were called "the Blameless Ethiopians in whose land the gods held banquets". We have discovered the lost city of this Pre-historic Civilization, with its array of beautiful bronze and pottery works lost to living memory and posing an Enigma to African and World History."
"My analyses of the early archaeology of Sumer and of the Akkadian/Sumerian/Canaanite (Semitic) languages shows that all of them without exception were children of the Igbo language and that the earliest inhabitants of Sumer had Igbo lifestyles in religion, architecture, clothing, etc., even in the recipe for soap-making (wood-ash/potash boiled in oil)."
"Igbo is in the family of Niger-Congo languages called Kwa by European linguists, which includes many Nigerian and West African languages like Ashanti, Akan, Yoruba and Benin (Edo). Igbo, I find to be closest to the original mother of that language family. In fact my finding is that in order to not let the Igbo know that it was their language that birthed the others, the linguists invented the word Kwa, which was originated from Akwa Nshi (Igbo for 'First People', also the local name of the Nigerian monoliths that represent First People on the planet). This word was used also by the ancient Egyptians to describe the West African, in fact Igbo-speaking, Sea People (Kwush, see Martin Bernal - Black Athena ) who brought civilization to the Aegean and the Levant during the Hyksos (which means 'Kwush') Exodus. Kwush, also pronounced Kush means in Semitic and in Igbo 'People of the Esh/Eshi'. Eshi are the so-called 'Blameless Ethiopians' of Homer. In Sumer and in Igbo, the word meant 'Righteous/Sons of God/Descendants of the Adama (see The Nag Hammadi Scriptures and the Torah). Adam was Adama before the Fall. After he fell he became Adam, a word, which in Igbo means 'I have Fallen'. Today in Igbo land we still have the descendants of the Immortal First People. They have never ceased to go by Adam's original name - 'Adama'. They are the Land Chiefs in Igbo land."
"Biblical Kush was named after the Ikwu Eshi/Kwush. Ikwu Eshi literally means in Igbo - 'Descendant/Lineage of the Eshi'."

    Good day:
I propose Tutsis are from Somalia , here is how we can prove or disprove. Somali Y-chromosome (paternal) test shows they are 79% E-V32 Haplogroup. If Tutsi men take the paternal, I think we will see Tutsis are originally from Somalia. The reason why you see Ethiopia is Somalis and Ethiopians belong to the same paternal accessory, here is how, Somali paternal line is E-V32 (Somali) , E-V12 (Oromo and Sudan), E-M78(Egypt), E-V68, E-M35.1, this is going back words in the parental family tree up to 23,600 bc.
So Tutsis please take the paternal test, I know many Somali took the test in FamlytreeDNA , I am not associated with this Familytree DNA.

The Jews / Judean tribe is basically the only surviving tribe from the 12 tribe of Israel. Israel is from the line of Abraham, and Abraham is from the line of Shem. Cush is from the line of Ham. Ham had 4 sons. Cush (Ethiopia), Mizrahim (Egypt,) Phut (Libyans) and Canaan (Phoenicians). The Palestinians are related to the Cushite as they are descended from Canaan. The Arabs are related to the Cushite, as Hagar (sent out into the wilderness) was the Egyptian (Mizraim) wife of Abraham, and she was the mother of Ismael the progenitor of the Arabs.

@@Maziwamakuu I am very sceptical about these commercial companies doing DNA analysis. Africans are very diverse, how accurate are their results?
Have you consulted directly with Geneticists? Africa now has a Centre for Genome Sequencing based at the University of Cape Town, their aim is to sequence genomes of Africans as very little has been done compared with Europeans and Asians. The the research group have satellite laboratories in several African countries; the academics working in these centres are leading Geneticists, Biomedical Scientists and Biochemists; their work is peer reviewed by other academics - I trust their work more than the commercial companies.
