Prior to the cushite movements into Uganda, Tanzania, DRC and western kenya. There existed hunter gatherers also populary known as the Twa and other natives. In Buganda there is a story of king Bemba who was of Bantu origin. And moved from the Luba kingdom ( present day DRC) who conquered the indigenous sub clans. These indegenous tribes had formed semi independent chiefdoms collectively called Muwawa. But was eventually defeated by a cushite king Kato kintu is is said to have arrived from the north east and galvanized clans to form Buganda. The Hima seem to be a mixed race of probably Oromo/ Somali people and Nilotic tribes of the ancient Kemet kingdom. ( Ancient Nubia) That intermarried and formed a distinct unique tribe before there movement down into the great lakes.

His biased opinion are baseless, unfortunately he is going to confuse some people but I like to see you here calling out his poor work for what it is. It astounding how the same person be anti-eurocentrism but still use it as the means to get his point across. You are right in challenging him to provide genuine genetical data to support his claims and positions but because he has nothing of the sort to show at best he is going to go hiding from you.
Lots of groups who share Eastern africans are traditionally pastoralists. With a strong emphasis on around cows related customs and sometimes, the kingship prouesse and the conquering attitudes of the past history, it may be possible to identify common characteristics, at a global level. Let us note that it's not surprising to notice Himas in almost every country in the Great Lakes of Africa, even though, i have to admit that I didn't know Kenya had Himas! Someone just started this one, in the comments! Also, the fact that one Somalian group or Ethiopian one may claim similarities with Himas, Tutsis (aren't they the same, really?) determine enough that inside migrations occurred; keeping in mind that phenotypical traits don't lie! Nevertheless, cultures are often mixed due to a normal and inevitable coexistence, at one point of time. So peoples are the same, though, sometimes, the North may show lots of Asian influences (customs, languages) while the South and Central may hating a predominant Bantu linguistic background, for the very reasons of coexistence , i already started, and other social and community needs. STAY TOGETHER!
King Ruhinda was the first king of Ankole and later invaded Karagwe led to the decline of the Basiita kingdom there and more other kingdoms but he originally from Uganda in Ankole kingdom.

Thanks for presenting this excellent historical fact. As a Somali, we truly believe the Tutsi, Hima, Nyankole etc are our own people originating from Somalia.
Not in large numbers, but scattered in Kagera Region (where most could be found), Kigoma, parts of Geita, Shinyanga, Rukwa Regions!!
They are oromo people tribe from ethiopia horn Africa biggest Clun among cushitik people like somale sidama like that etc I like you my nation all over the world I heard that already woow
Definitely
We have a clan called himano and I would not be surprised to know hima or war hima used to be part of us as oromos
Tutsis is also a group of hima people. Hima is the original name for Tutsis. And most of hima and other Tutsis believe that they are from Oromo people.
There are also hema people in ituri
They aren't forgotten they are somalis Ajuran clan from somalia and we knew them for long time
Am I hima or somali?
Both at the some time. Its like calling a car, a motor vehicle.
It is believed by some academics that Hima are originally from a Somali clan called Gaaljecel but have admixed with Bantus and possibly the Kore (Nilotics)
I hope we Chagga are part of them if not hebrew.. our names reseemble those in Ethiopia like Lema, Moshi.. our traditional dance like is like Hebrews or kurdi (holding hands together forming a big round)..
Traditional house were roofed from top to wall by special grasses.
Using oryx horn as trumpet for call and gathering people.. like Hebrews use it as an alert that shabat (sabato) is here ..
We also use to put on monkey hair and holding an arrow or stick as a warriors.
We are from somewhere but we've resided in Kilimanjaro now is our traditional land. Yes Bantu are from somewhere in Cameron.. intermarriage have mixed us up.. though you can identify us with unique looking, caring and method of raising our children... cattle, Milk is part of our life. That is all about us
Thanks my brother we love you guys
I follow your channel by the way, I enjoy learning about our connection. I’m a munyamulenge from DRC.
THis people are kushitic our brothers the look like us From the Oromo people hima means teller bantu means the opener we are the same.
Yes ,most tutsi believe ,they believe that they are from Oromo people.

It's unfortunate that you are using eurocentric anthropological view of history based on physical appearance of people, kindly try to do some genetic and archaeological evidence to authenticate your false allegations. If Abahima are related to Tutsis then genetically they are more related with bantus, followed by Nilotes and very few Cushitic ancestry!!
Tutsi are mixture of Kushites and Nilots because of inter mariage.
Interesting 🤔
Abahinda and abasita are all Tutsis,Karagwe used to be a part of Rwanda kongdom, same as ankole.
You need to link your information with DNA analysis. It would be nice to have an analysis of Mwalimu Nyerere. I suspect his is the oldest of Tanzanian DNA.
the are in westen Uganda Barara and so many parts of Uganda even nothan there are so many parts of Uganda not one good looking there are very good people also
Why doesn't mention the ones found in Uganda west southern part of Uganda?
Because am one of them
I have seen so many Nilotics who looks like them take for instance the masai.I have seen even people among the oromo people in Ethiopia who carries Luo names among them eg Names like Alem,Oluma,Emiru Amenu,beja,Amar'e/Amara,Adem,Alemu/Alemo etc.We are one people
I wonder how articulate the narrator is. Narratives would suggest they entered the interlacustrine region (Greate Lakes Region) late the 15th and 16 th centuries as opposed to the said 1800 (19th century) and known more as Nilo-Hermites, who include the Hima/Tutsi, Maasai, Jaluo, Kalenjin, Nubi of South Sudan, Somalis, Ethiopians. We need to be educated more on this, if need be!
They don’t think they’re right because African countries had no borders before 19 sentry
Once again, keep going with the truth
Those pictures are from Uganda because that's our dress code we bahima in Uganda

We dont need to unite Ethnic groups. We need to unite Africa
Africans are ethnic groups though
Don' say rohinda, and you must say ridwan(Ridhwan), why for originally the name was a Ridwan( RIDHWAN).
We are all now that all those people are Somalis not oroma
ASC,Don't mix the Bantu and the cushitic, why for,
1. The Bantu originally they are a that root
1.1. Bengamine(Bantu),
1.2 ibnu jackob
1.3. Ibnu isack,
1.4. Ibnu Abraham,
And the cushitic(Somalically Qurraysh) or a qurayda or a cruate, originally they are a root of
2.1. Cushitic (Qurraysh)
2.2. Ibnu Europa or Arab ( Originally-somalically curbiyi)
2.3. Ibnu jusuph,(yusuf),
2.4.ibnu jackob ( Originally-Somalically jacquub).
2.5.ibnu isack.
2.6. Ibnu Abraham.
Explain please...
But Tutsi came later in Rwanda
That is not true, that was made up by colonizers so they can steal the land of Rwanda as Tutsi kept asking them to get out of Rwanda so they figured they cam portray Tutsis as foreigners so that they can strip them off their native right to the land and chase them out so the colonizers can stay forever with no one asking them to leave.Tutsi came and found empty land and formed kingdoms Abasangwabutaka were the Tutsi Basinga who formed Businga kingdom one of the many Tutsi kingdoms who came before Tutsi Banyiginya
Bahima are of Basongoro/chwezi/Isimbwa/Nyamuyonga ancestry.Anyway no ancestor of African descendants was Nilotes,Bantu or Cushitic, these are eurocentric anthropological names to divide Africans.Lets be proud and identity with our ancestors.First rulers/ancestors of Bahima were gods.
@@Alphakeyc I read some inferiority complex here, anyway share with me sources that prove Bahima have E1b1b haplogroup.
