In 1982 I lived in Biharamulo in Kagera region Tanzania . To my understanding, I met Tutsi speaking Bantu dialect. Basically, they were very proud who appear just like Somalis and there was an old Tutsi who lived in his house like a palace. This king used to summon us to his family when his daughters were married. One time I visited a refugee camp called Mushiiha just inside Burundi doing business The Tutsis received me like one of their own. I can recall a jug of free cow milk kept just near me where I stayed. Beautiful girls come and greet me in their language or Kiswahili. Actually, they use to come via Resumo between Tz and Rwanda and also through Ngara district just near Burundi towards Kitega. I had a friend called Augustin and another one Uswaga who were in the Biharamulo district. Another Subgroup of the Tutsi was the Wa Hangaza of Ngara. Therefore I was informed by the same Hima like Tutsi who gave and treat us their own.

@@Maziwamakuu In 1982 January I traveled from Dar es salaam by Tanganyika Bus service through chalenzi, Dodoma, Sikenke hills near Singida where Nyaturu tribe I saw them, then to Mwadui Diamond mines Townhome to the Sukuma tribe, Kahama where the road went off to Kigoma region and another one goes to Mwanza region on Lake victoria. During this tedious journey on land in Tanzania, I had the intention to visit my relative by the name of Abdullahi Elmi Gure, a businessman living in Biharamulo in the Kagera region of the west lake. At almost two good days we had arrived in Mwanza city another Sukuma city. That night I never turned to another side until the next morning in Arab house. Again I embarked on my journey over the Mwanza ferry reaching Nzega town, another cattle country of Sukuma people on my way to Geita Mine where one relative Mohamed Elmi managed a Local hotel and spent the night there. After having rest there I walked up again to continue the journey which seems endless. We went to Buseresere village inhabited by fewer Tutsi ethnics and finally, I reached Biharamulo a German-built garrison town during the first world war. Now here are the communities I met there: Tutsi, Sukuma, Haya, Subi, Hangaza, Rukwa(fewer from the Kigoma region and Hutu refugees from Burundi staying in Benaco camp areas. So remember former airforce Burundian Col.Muchumbero (pilot) was overturned by President Jean Babtiste Bagaza his own uncle in 1973 or somewhere there and flee for political asylum to the republic of Somalia till time of his death in the 1980s. Please don't forget Somalia has built Burndian airforce at this time. Muchmbero Col. went to Somalia as his country of origin. Why he has never gone to other Eastern Africa countries? What do you think? Actually, Abatutsi migrated from the Northernmost of Somalia 480 years down the line from the highlands Sanag Dallo hills and Calmadow the greenest part of Somalia highlands in Puntland what we term. What I can vividly remember one Somali whose name is Mohamed Afrah married a Tutsi woman she bore 6 boys in Chato the home town of late president John pombe Magufuli. Another friend was Tutsi by the name of Edmund working there in chato in Cotton ginnery later we become very close friends. This time am working for a relative as a Hotel manager and here is where I perfected a little french. I had two waiters Tutsis were Kaibanda and Uswaga a comedian who later I heard him become a very rich man in Biharamulo. Afrah is now Tutsi in Chato. It is a long story but next time.

Please also research about Alagwa, Burunge, Gorowa and Iraqwe of Tanzania. They are Cushites as well. We educated Cushites must work to unite our peoples. Prior to the cushite movements into Uganda, Tanzania, DRC and western kenya. There existed hunter gatherers also populary known as the Twa and other natives. In Buganda there is a story of king Bemba who was of Bantu origin. And moved from the Luba kingdom ( present day DRC) who conquered the indigenous sub clans.
These indegenous tribes had formed semi independent chiefdoms collectively called Muwawa.
But was eventually defeated by a cushite king Kato kintu is is said to have arrived from the north east and galvanized clans to form Buganda.
The Hima seem to be a mixed race of probably Oromo/ Somali people and Nilotic tribes of the ancient Kemet kingdom. ( Ancient Nubia) That intermarried and formed a distinct unique tribe before there movement down into the great lakes.

Thank God! I got memory. Since my childhood I used to hear that; Nyerere was a 'Wa Hangaza', but indegenous Tanzanians were knowing him as from another clan (tribe) of theirs, which I don't remember well.
That's why the old goon kept Tanzanians in poverty/ ignorance/illiterate. Not untill President Hassan Mwinyi came into power, and opened the doors to Tanzanians.
He was renamed; 'Baba Rukusa'. That was the beginning of Tanzanians opening eyes/brains/with reasoning.
Somalis/Tutsis/Himas of Congo; now I understand why you are problem people, wherever you are.
Now I know, why the old goon hated (Nyerere) Uganda, yet he studied at Makerere University.
A Tutsi Rwandese President of Uganda tried his best to make Nyerere a 'saint' at Namugongo in Uganda, but in vain.
Nyerere brought a ' curse' to Uganda.

Lots of groups who share Eastern africans are traditionally pastoralists. With a strong emphasis on around cows related customs and sometimes, the kingship prouesse and the conquering attitudes of the past history, it may be possible to identify common characteristics, at a global level.
Let us note that it's not surprising to notice Himas in almost every country in the Great Lakes of Africa, even though, i have to admit that I didn't know Kenya had Himas! Someone just started this one, in the comments! Also, the fact that one Somalian group or Ethiopian one may claim similarities with Himas, Tutsis (aren't they the same, really?) determine enough that inside migrations occurred; keeping in mind that phenotypical traits don't lie! Nevertheless, cultures are often mixed due to a normal and inevitable coexistence, at one point of time.
So peoples are the same, though, sometimes, the North may show lots of Asian influences (customs, languages) while the South and Central may hating a predominant Bantu linguistic background, for the very reasons of coexistence , i already started, and other social and community needs.
    STAY TOGETHER!

I wonder how articulate the narrator is. Narratives would suggest they entered the interlacustrine region (Greate Lakes Region) late the 15th and 16 th centuries as opposed to the said 1800 (19th century) and known more as Nilo-Hermites, who include the Hima/Tutsi, Maasai, Jaluo, Kalenjin, Nubi of South Sudan, Somalis, Ethiopians. We need to be educated more on this, if need be!

    • @Jko-f2c
      @Jko-f2c 9 місяців тому

That is not true, that was made up by colonizers so they can steal the land of Rwanda as Tutsi kept asking them to get out of Rwanda so they figured they cam portray Tutsis as foreigners so that they can strip them off their native right to the land and chase them out so the colonizers can stay forever with no one asking them to leave.Tutsi came and found empty land and formed kingdoms Abasangwabutaka were the Tutsi Basinga who formed Businga kingdom one of the many Tutsi kingdoms who came before Tutsi Banyiginya
