I was excited that they made a 3.0 variant but lost interest as it now has tubed tires. Solid tires are the way to go for me due to being scarred by tons of pinched flats.
I totally agree with you on the durability of the solid tires over using tubes. I think their main goal was better shock absorption. On the other end you do have a very good point that you never have to worry about flat tire if you have a solid wheel
That was the reason I bought the lightning. Yes, the ride is not as smooth, but I’m willing to sacrifice comfort to save me the headache of changing flats
Yeah super true. And the newer grips suck too I loved the older grips.
@@Frostorm777 I recently sold my Urban Machina Terra scooter because I had 3 solid tire scooters. That scooter was heavy for being quite portable but it had the best suspension. The battery is almost close to the Nanrobot lightning. I like it as it was quite nimble and went 28mph
Total deal breaker all e scooters should have solid tyres!
Hey nice to see you doing scooters we have all evolved 😂😂 Techy Geeks you look so cool bro 👍🏽 hey I had the Hiboy s2 in order to get used to the scooters now I sold it I bought myself the Vsett 8 I'm getting 27 mph on it with full battery then it with battery 1/2 24 mph climbing up hills no problem suspension apsey amazing. And I got a cover made up for the deck and for the stem bar to make it waterproof. I'm keeping this for 3 years. Speed limit in Jamaica is 30 mph.. the police stopped me and asked me for a ride so I let them ride my scooter 😂😂 love your video
Dang. Wow
That looks like so much fun TK ! Big love, kindest regards, Richard U.K
It really is!
@@TKBay Great, enjoy !
Hello fellow Dragon Ball fan 🥰 I'm considering between this and the Varla Pegasus, the seat looks more ergonomic on this but the Pegasus has a built in steering damper to keep you solid at top speed even sitting down, and has tubeless tires, the best of both worlds between the solid and tubed tires of the Lightning
Dude, you can hear the rotors rubbing against the pads during your video! If the rotor is bent then you can easily bend it back into shape so it doesn't rub by carefully examining it to determine where it needs to be bent back and carefully use a crescent wrench to gently bend it back into shape. If the rotor is not bent then you can loosen the bolts slightly that hold the calipers stationary so that they will move freely without falling off and then depress the brake handle tightly to close the pads onto the rotor and without letting go tighten the caliper bolts back down. When you get them tightened down and release the brake the caliper & pads will be aligned with the rotor and they will no longer rub the rotors!
I have fixed that sound. Thank you for the recommendation
TK,Thank you very much!
You are welcome!
Could you make a video addressing some items not covered, such as the position of the tire inflation nozzle, the difference in the fairing of the wheels due to the change in the type and size of the tires and why the insertion points of the power cables of the engines were changed from the right arms to the left arms of the suspensions?
Very awesome tk , be safe👍👊
Thanks for the video bro
No problem 👍
So they sale this in the USA ? I don’t see this for USA.. all I see is eur prices.
They do, I saw US pricing on the site earlier. But they might be out atm
10:29 is that sound the disc brake being rubbed against?
sound like it, but the sound goes away in the next clip. might be some dust as well as I was in a dusty area.
Some of your comments aren't making any sense with all due respect. There is no pedal assist LOL you said it goes 55 mph it goes 30 mph. And the shocks went from Springs 2 hydraulic I think
Yours doesn’t make sense. It doesn’t go 20 mph it goes 37 mph. Get it right. 🤓
Sounds like one of the rotors are bent. That rubbing sound.
Which one has faster acceleration? 2.0 or 3.0?
Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe they’re all the same top speed and specs. I believe the 3.0 now comes with a slightly bigger battery.
Good luck with punctures!
That scooter has solid tires?
The version 2.0 had solid tires version 3.0 has 8 and 1/2 in inflatable tires with an inner tube built-in
Isn't going that fast lile totally illegal? 😮 Wow, that's pretty awesome
Depends where you are. I've been riding an and robot that goes a little over 40 mph for the last 2 years is my only transportation
no.
Does not do 55 mph. Maybe kph
pedal assist is on there because the display is made for an ebike,
I have the same scooter I know or I don't understand that nanrobot flytron scooter are the same now I don't know if they still have the same controller the battery seems to be the same and the motor wheels are the same just change the name the model is the same
They added the center screen and air filled tires as opposed to solid. If I’m correct, they also made the battery slightly bigger for the 3.0. Other than that -same scooter.
