Thanks Lynn. What a great recipe. I tried it today and made six portions for the freezer. I’m not a lover of carrots, so I replaced it with sweet potato and that worked a treat. Oh and I added a tin of baked beans. I cooked my sausages in the air fryer. Served with soda bread and butter, and I was in seventh heaven!! ❤
Hi Lynn great recipe, I use the same , but I sometimes substitute the sausage for a tin of cubed corned beef its awesome please try it..or even add the corned beef to the sausages.
Wow, looks amazing. I love the smell that emanates through my flat when using the Slo-cooker and I love the fact that you get enough for further portions to freeze, such a time saver. Interesting that you added gravy granules and beans near the end. I've always added them at the start of cooking and they always seem to hold their shape etc! 😋
Thanks for the tip of browning the sausage in the oven. I was just wondering what to do with the Polish sausage I’ve got coming. I never thought about a stew but boy does it ever sound good now that it’s ready to eat. I am wondering if I can put some cut up red potatoes in the pot?
I agree about the sausages and the fact that they can then be cut up before putting them in the Slo-cooker! BTW, I'm sue that the potatoes would be fine!

Looks wonderful. Thanks for the tips and sharing. Looking forward to trying it. Ax
Thanks will give that a try
How would you warm up the leftovers you put in the fridge & freezer? Is it OK to just microwave from frozen? And how long can they keep in the fridge?
Thanks 😊 I'm going to make it now xxxxxx
“I think it needs more water” famous last words of many a Slow Cooker user. 😂
