My apartment never had washer/dryer anyway… but couldn’t go to laundry mat during Covid lockdown so I ordered this. OMG!!!! This has been a freakin game changer! I still use it three years later and still love it. I do jeans, towels, undies/socks etc. Haven’t done queen sheets yet but I feel like they will be fine and it will work well. This machine is really awesome. After clothes spin I swear they are almost dry and ready to hang dry. The best part is that washing takes less time than using full size washer and the clothes are super clean. Highly recommend.

I had no problem doing queen sheets in mine, but would divide the load into one sheet and one pillow case each. For anyone who doesn't or can't have a washer/dryer, these little machines are godsends!

this is the absolute best purchase I have ever made in my life and I am 80 years old.
I can lift it in and out of my bathtub when I want to use it, or have a shower, which ever.
it does everything that I need to wash perfectly quickly and like you said it dries so fast.
I can do one sheet at a time no problem and again if I fold them when I leave them on my drying rack and just turn it over it takes no time for anything to dry.
The added bonus is, it is not that expensive, considering what you would have to pay with a laundromat!

I live in a rural area and the only laundromat is like five dollars a load and it’s dirty. I bought this on Amazon last summer and I love it. It is a game changer for us in the winter. I use a drying rack and put it by our wood-burning stove in the summertime. I hang them on the clothesline. Oh so happy I found this.

I just bought one due to it being $8.00 to wash a big load of clothes in the laundry right now. I looked the lady in the eyes and said: It's official, I'm buying a washing machine. I have the identical machine except it's a different brand! I have blue lids too. I love it, for the first time, I have everything clean all the time and the freedom to wash whenever I want. Laundromats/Laundry rooms in apt buildings are pricey and a pain to have to use. This way I get things done with almost no effort. Also, I use a coiled garden hose hooked to my kitchen sink to fill the machine. Not sure why but I just place it over those "inlet" connections and it works with NO leaking (there is no connection either). Thanks for the video. In the beginning, it's normal to make mistakes, like leaving the hose down while filling the machine!

Great video. I bought a similar, but different brand machine (Costway) on Amazon but haven’t used it yet. Your video gave me some great tips for when I do. I liked the one about putting a strainer in the drainer. I hadn’t thought about that yet… Also, the tip about how to place the machine in the shower.

My girlfriends mom bought, My girlfriend and I one for our Studio apartment, That does not have a washer or dryer. And we love it. Easy and small storage it does an amazing job, Recommending on getting one for yourself, because my girlfriend and i don't have to do old-school Laundry in the tub no more 🎉😁

I’m pretty sure the instructions i got were google translated from another language and told me to spin before rinsing, so i wanted to make sure that was wrong and found your video. As someone else mentioned, the tip about agitating the soap really helps, especially using a tide pod or similar product!!

Thanks for your tutorial. Good points, especially about holding the machine steady at first when starting the spin cycle. Also putting detergent in the water and agitating it, before adding clothes. And making sure clothes are not too tangled up while washing. Brilliant machines. I ordered a Giantex twin tub today from Amazon, as my main machine broke down. It should arrive in 4 days. I'm in England UK, so the price in our money for mine, is £157.95. That's with £10.00 knocked of via a voucher. Looking forward to using it.

Great "how to" video, thanks. We just got our first small pull behind and decided to get a very similar washing machine (Auertech) on Amazon. The manual says to clean the overflow filter every 2 months but isn't clear on where it's located? So there's that. We are going to try the machine tonight in the shower. We are still in our sticks and bricks until July then the adventuring begins!!! Oh and I subscribed...we could always learn a thing or two. Adventure on!!!

I've had one just like this for almost 3 years. I love it. The only question I have is how would I clean the outtake hose? It's getting kind of yucky? Also, I found out by accident that there is a safety mechanism that stops your water from over flowing. It just drains if it fills too high.

I had one for years. Same brand, although frankly they all operate the same way. I was THRILLED to not have to go to a laundromat anymore! Great tips, same things I discovered. Most people do put in too much detergent. Mistake. It only needs very little, and cleans very well. It was amazing to me how dry the spinner got things.
It is more labour intensive than having a regular washer you don't have to babysit at all, but a million times better than going to a laundromat, and far less expensive too.
If you can hook up the intake hose that leads into the spinner, you can rinse and then spin dry that way, which saves time and makes using minimal detergent more important. But I preferred running a separate rinse cycle in the washer half.

And wash wracks are perfect if you dont have a portable dryer ! Fold them when you are not using them !!

I am genuinly surprised that people in the us never heard about this. I was born in 1979 and this has been the typical washing machine in house holds in the middleast! Only few years back we started using front loaders

We own one and we love it also we purchased a dehumidifier to dry our clothes and purchased a clothes hanger rack that holds 90 clothes don’t have to go to laundry mat save money

If you're hooked up to utilities its great.
Water is finite when out in the middle of no where.
I have been using one for 2 yrs now.
Take about 6+ gallons to fill wash tub. Same to rinse.
Spin dryer is small, can only hold certian size clothes, towels, etc.
No blankets, jackets, carharts, etc.
You can lay 2-3 t-shirts to spin as long as machine is balanced.
TIP:
Especially in the Winter though you should always do it to keep mold and other bacteria out of you maching.
When you're done....
With the drain hose out & unconnected. Lift the machine and tilt towards the drain hose.
You'll be amazed at how much water will come out.
For the price, These are great.

I have a full-size automatic washing machine but I bought a twin tub for washing my dogs beds and towels etc or anything I didn’t want to put in my automatic machine. All I’ll say is if you spend all day in front of a screen working something as simple and mundane as doing a load of washing this way can save your sanity. I might be weird but I find it therapeutic- especially seeing all the dirty water drain 😂😂.

Yes the product exzisted since in the eighty's in the Caribbean, they still use them.
Tip: hang ring the water out your clothes before you put in dryer it would last much longer as the belt wouldn't be under much strain.
Tip: never fill with jeans only or heavy blankets and it will run for years to come

I sit mines in the tub on a couple of pieces of 2x4 for extra clearance underneath. Here's a tip, if you have one of those old fashioned clothes hanger over your shower (usually in older apartments), you can use that to hang your clothes then clip a small fan onto the shower curtain rod and aim it at the clothes to speed up the drying process.

I don’t see an area to clean out lint. I just catch all the lint with the screen over the drain.
About how much water do you think was used in this video? Also, would you say it works well for soiled items such as dog vests or kids jerseys? Thanks for the demonstration! Considering for the cabin i live in now.
Thanks so much for watching! I’m guessing 5-7 gallons of water per load. I have never measured since it’s just coming from the shower head. It also depends how many clothes you have in there and what type. I use more water for towels but less for undergarments and t-shirts. There’s not a specific amount each time. I have not washed anything too terribly dirty in it, but each time there is a stain on something, we put Dawn dish soap on it and it always comes out in the wash. Hope this information helps!

I just ordered the zeny wash n dryer and the hose doesn’t fit my faucet so I tried the kitchen sink and bathroom tub so should I put my own water in the washer
I use a handheld shower head to fill mine and don’t use the hose. If you don’t have a handheld shower head to fill it with, you can use a bucket of water to fill it.
I have seen these for a couple of years now. Everybody loves it. That was Academy Award material showing how to use it. Thank you!

I just got mine in the mail today after a huge dissapointment with a brand new washer.
I had a brand new, large capacity Whirlpool, one of those computerized pieces of garbage with the water sensor? It came new with our used mobile home.
2 months into using it, I had to call a repairman. He said it was fixed. It was... for about a month. I figured out how to reset it. Had to do that a couple times a month.
I finally gave up on it. It was tearing up my clothes because it starts agitating while it's filling. It took forever to get a load done. I had to let it wash. Then manually set it to rinse. Then manually set it to spin and drain. To reset it, you have to unplug it, wait an hour, plug it back in and open and close the lid 6 times in like 30 seconds. Try doing that for each load!
So, I had a load of t-shirts that was supposed to be clean that hadn't had the final spin and drain done on it and decided to rewash it in my new machine!
I put 1/3 of the load in and let it run 3 minutes. That water was dirty! I put it over to spin, run the shower head over it for awhile and spun it for 1 minute. Ran rinse water in it again and spun it out for one minute.
Reused the wash water and put the other 1/3 in and repeated it. Now, I'm doing the last 1/3.
I'm still way ahead of the game time wise and water wise and soap wise!
And it's coming out dryer and cleaner. That wash water is so filthy! How can whirlpool even claim to sell a washing machine?
Well, let me tell you! I love my Zeny! I put two milk crates upside down in the bathtub. Got an extension cord and one of those showerheads with the hose on it and this setup works great!

@@RoamInYourHome Tell me about it! I remember back around 40 years ago, I got a used apartment sized washing machine but it didn't hold as much as this one. Had to hook it up to my kitchen sink.
The timer on that old one wasn't as simple...I don't believe. There was something about it I didn't like.
But this one is awesome!

Great question! I leave my lids open until it air dries. We learned that the hard way. We use it as our hamper now and the first time we put clothes in when it was still damp inside, the next time we opened it, it smelled bad.

@@RoamInYourHome update:I ended up purchasing a stainless steel centrifugal spin machine. This has allowed me to handwash first then just dump into the machine for spinning. The clothes come out nearly dry and just need a couple hours on the line afterwards. I chose this because it eliminated the need for timing and multiple washloads and worrying about flooding my bathroom☺️, but as well is easy, affordable and saved alot of water. Thanks for your video because it got me on the right track. Living in a country where there are only front loading washmachines, they run for over an hour most times and as well become smelly in the summertime because of residual water. They may look nicer but I think the top loaders still function far better. But now I can bypass all that. The machine I chose was about 250 euros but has a two year warranty and is solid stainless steel with a powerful motor, is light weight and portable and not very loud. Thank you!!!

I really want this!! I’m so done with washer because they keep breaking on me smh! Only question I have is how does this washer handle washing towels?
It washes towels great, just only a couple at a time then need to hang dry.

Great content! After the wash cycle, a full load of clothes can be split into two groups. The first group is spun, to remove much but not all of the soap, and then rinsed in the open spinner using either the showerhead or water from a clean bucket. The silo shape of the spinner compartment lends itself to the falling water removing the remaining soap residue. The first group is then spun to extract the water, and then removed for hanging, then the process is repeated for the second group of clothes.
Some twin tub models have a separate water inlet for the spin section, allowing for a water rinse during the spin cycle, but the connector can be a pain to hook up to a water source, so many users opt for the showerhead or bucket instead.
Many of these machines experience issues over time, such as with a motor or capacitator. The user can then repair DIY, or get a replacement. Amazon typically doesn't offer protection plans for these at the time of purchase, but Walmart or Home Depot might have this as an option.

is it important to drain before using the dryer?
I have heard some people don’t drain before using the spinner. I don’t think it matters.
Just got one, how do you clean the lint trap?
I have researched this and have a friend with one who took his apart. We cannot find a lint trap anywhere.
This is why I place a lint catcher in our drain. That works great!
