It makes me laugh even harder! What a hoot. Love his videos, no drama, no snarling, creative name, and great demeanor.
They eye contact in his interrogation is so creepy, you almost have to laugh. The cop was like, 'look at me Stephen' and he proceeds to creepily turn his head and NEVER break eye contact after that with his bug eyes. Even freaked the cop out...
I’ve always thought his “Body? I think I need to sit down” reaction was genuine because he really thought the dumpster would have been emptied already. I think he was panicking that there’s evidence now and he’s going to be in deep shit. Then later on when he’s crying, I think he started crying for himself and just panicking about the gravity of the situation, but he pretends he’s crying for Lauren.
The literal _only_ reason the trash wasnt gone was that the detectives happened to park next to it and the trashguys couldnt it get to it. If it did make it to the dump? Without knowing the exact area or day, theres a good chance they wouldn't find it. If they _did_ know they still might not be able to find it, theres so many frustrating cases like that. And he 100% thought it was on its was, or already there when hes being all 'i can do this interview because im getting away with this'
exactly! the bad acting came only _after_ stephen's initial reaction. you can see the light fade from his eyes as the interviewer breaks the news. had it been just that and the interview was ended, he'd have actually come across way less suspicious.

Your so right about being on camera and end up looking so guilty, the very first time I heard of Chris Watts was when I had HLN on, but wasnt watching just listening. I remember halting what I was doing to see Who the hell is on TV giving an interview and it was CW. I watched not even a minute or 2 and thought "this guy is the one responsible". Never seen in my life someone who seemed so guilty in an interview.
When he said "Body?" I figured he thought that the trash would have been taken out to a dump by then so he was surprised that it was found as quickly as it was. Maybe he knew that he wasn't as good as hiding evidence as he thought and the possibility of detectives finding his dna on her body scared him. Maybe that was his OH SHIT moment and he had to sit because at that point he knee he was going to get caught
Yes, you truly are the True Crime Hero! Thank you for taking your time and energy to give us these great videos. I'm so glad I stumbled upon your channel! The troll hair was there!
As usual you're spot on about his bad acting doing a Live Lie Cry! My 15 year old boy thinks I'm a paranoid idiot but there are Monsters that live among us and they don't always look like Trolls or have Hair Islands.
ottawaandy If anyone had researched this case, it's a simple answer. During the huge search, Stephen was with tons of family members, friends, classmates, and neighbors. Also cops talk a lot. He knew thru all of those ppl the last time she was seen and heard from.
#LieCry /lʌɪ/krʌɪ/ verb shed tears, typically as an expression of distress, pain, or sorrow while telling a lie or lies. "don't lie cry-it'll be all right, Lizard Boy" *rub shoulder* I may have too much free time on my hands... 😂
DISCLAIMER: Proceed with caution if drinking beverages during this video. Sudden bursts of laughter will cause you to choke and spit it all out all over yourself. You have been warned.
I know you have experience but just hear me out, I wasn’t thinking “body”?? 🤔was acting because that trash should have been picked up hours before , the disposal service was very off schedule. He made it that far so he never expected they’d have found the body that day....maybe? I agree %100 women will be safe by getting a dog!!!!
Juanita Richards I agree not to leave them alone outside!🤗 But although it does happen and nothing is %100, stats in high numbers of criminals reported they just passed houses with dogs, it's way easier...
Serenity M yes with this guy it may not have mattered, I think because she was moving away he would go to any lengths to kill her before he'd let her move away forever😬
#1 maybe he held on to the evidence as a trophy. He couldnt handle that she was about to move, so he killed her, then he couldnt bear to part with the tokens of her. Or #2 he kept the evidence bc he thought he was smarter and could beat the wrap.
Hi TCL. I'm from the UK, and I remember the Lucy Blackman case. Strange indeed. Thanks for putting a smile on my face 5 days a week. Love to you and Little T. 🐾
The best way to punish these horrendous imbeciles (within the confines of the law) is to mock them mercilessly until the end of time. You, my friend, are doing a great job of this.
I think the "Body?" and needing to sit down was theatre. He thought that it was how "innocent people" acted. How real non troll people reacted when hearing about death. Thanks for the video. 💙
I agree. His interrogation shows he is in total control of his composure. He has been imitating human emotions for years, and he likely thought that a dramatic display of shock would make him look innocent. He was mistaken.
Initially I believed his shocked reaction on camera. I thought he was reacting to the fact her body was still in the dumpster after 5 days, or however long it was, and hadn’t been taken away. But you’ve actually convinced me he was acting and wasn’t really shocked. Like you said, of all the people he was the only one who wouldn’t be surprised that there’s a body’s in the dumpster. And he wouldn’t need to sit down to compose himself if he was capable of cutting her up with a saw!! Love your channel man. Thanks for giving all your smeeda fam such good content and clever analysis.
"Alright Fido, your job is to let us know if someone tries to come here". And the dog is like "yeah yeah" (TCL makes the most genuine dog face). TCL: "They love it!". OMG this channel is a gem how did I live so long without discovering it!!!
Alright. I watched the second one, then the first, and finally this one(: Super new to your channel, and I'm loving it already. I really love how simple it is. Thanks and keep up the good work 👍❤
Another interesting video TCL You must be very busy now with your new popularity. If you get the time, look at the case of Mick Philpott here in the UK. He was found guilty of the death of 6 children by arson....5 of the children were his own children. He loved being on TV. He was on a reality show, on the Jeremy Kyle show, and did a press conference on TV with his wife at the time of the fire. Appalling acting.......we all KNEW he was lying. Because of his love of the camera, there is quite a lot of footage of him, and you can see the character of this monster. Lie Crying in action. Keep the videos coming TCL xx
nope, after he killed her he went to the internet to do a search on how to dispose of a body. He cut her in pieces and dumped the pieces in several different thrash cans. Most of them were picked up by the time the police arrived, except the one that had the torso in, and only that one happened to be near his apartment. He clearly didn't want it to be found.
You should cover some classic To Catch a Predator Not only is it comic gold watching would-be child molesters shit their pants but some of the guys were truly monsters in their own right and are worthy of an in-depth video
I yean, I don’t agree that mention of “the body” was bad acting. I yean I think it was good acting because it looked like he wasn’t expecting it to be found. I yean who would do a thing like that? I think I gotta sit down ....
Those two interviewers from Stephens interrogation were so patient.... I wonder how he would have done with the lady that gave Chris Watts the lie detector test and interview.....???
When Staven says “body?”took it as surprise at the body being found, not that he didn’t know it was there, but because he thought that evidence was long gone. He thought he had gotten away with it, but with a body found he knew he was in for a lot of scrutiny. I might be wrong, but I think he was shocked, and he couldn’t have prepared even a bad acting job. Keep it up buddy! I look forward to these. You make me laugh😊
I think so too. Steven looked like the wind was knocked out of him when the reporter talked about the body being found. Also suspicious was the alternative theories he came out with.(ie, running) I'm surprised that he did an interview at all. Unlike Chris Watts, Steven did not have to talk to the press. CW was more or less forced to, because he was the husband (or potentially look guilty). This was so senseless. Not that any murder makes sense.
Great video as usual. Got me laughing out loud and I'm home alone here with my dog looking at me like wtf!? Lol. And I'm looking at him thinking about Stayven coming in my door. My dog would've ripped his fuc#ing arm off if he tried coming in here. Never heard of the case in Japan. Sounds crazy and smart to get the tent for the dirty work. Problem would be all the evidence would still be there if the tent was found since it didn't get washed down the drain if he did it in the tub. So crazy, will look into in. Thanks TCL! 👏😀👍
I was thinking of Meryl Streep just before you brought up that even actors can’t do this type of interview. Between college and law school I went to L.A. to be a movie star. It didn’t work out so I came home and went to law school. Improv aside, actors mostly rehearse with a script. You don’t answer unexpected questions. You don’t give yourself away through microexpressions that are caught on camera to be viewed over and over. The only correct reply to an interview request in a Watts or Troll head situation is “ no.”
Your Chris Watts voice is spot on, that croaky sound is sooo aggravating Styphen almost having a coronary on camera when he heard a body had been found wasn’t at all suspicious.
Love coming in from work, grabbing my dinner, and watching me some TCL and ROFL..... GREAT way to end my day! Sending a huge thank you from Tennessee 😀

The way you present you commentary is the shit! I am a regional educator for healthcare and I listen to you at my desk with headphones. I crack up out loud. I have the loudest laugh so I'm pretty sure everyone thinks I'm f'ing nuts...but I can't help it you are fricken hilarious.
He said "Lauren WAS my neighbor. We're just trying to find out where she is at this point." WAS?? He showed his hand right there.
Yaaaaaaaas! Coffee check, Jaffa cakes check, true crime loser check! Perfect Wednesday afternoon (cause I’m in the uk!)
Never seen in my life someone who seemed so guilty in an interview.
except for casey anthony.
i swear to God ALL of america saw those interviews and turned on him within seconds, what a colossal fuck up
i wish i had seen that interview at the time. Ive only seen it after knowing what he did
I laugh harder every time you push the pronunciation of Stayvin. Ty for this excellent series!
Just woke up with my cup of coffee, a couple minutes in, and I'm chuckling already!
I know right....couldn't make this stuff up....
You have now officially inched out Jim Can't Swim as my favorite UA-cam channel
Jim doesn't post often enough but when he does, ahhh the quality
Two very different styles. So equal love for them both ❤️
My 2 favs too. But jim cant swim or post as much
Sticking up for Jim; his content looks like it takes waaaaaaaaaay more time to edit!!! Love both channels!! 💖💕😍
@@icannotpretend5834 youtube is messing with jimcantswim. You gotta find him. They keep taking him down.
You're a pretty likeable guy.
Isn’t he? I like him (what I know of him) a lot!
He reminds me if every character Edward Norton plays
When he said "Body?" I figured he thought that the trash would have been taken out to a dump by then so he was surprised that it was found as quickly as it was. Maybe he knew that he wasn't as good as hiding evidence as he thought and the possibility of detectives finding his dna on her body scared him. Maybe that was his OH SHIT moment and he had to sit because at that point he knee he was going to get caught
Yes, you truly are the True Crime Hero! Thank you for taking your time and energy to give us these great videos. I'm so glad I stumbled upon your channel! The troll hair was there!
I can't speak for Steven's camera crew but with CW I noticed they would 'zoom in' when he'd say or do something of consequence. They were brilliant.
Yeah, they kept that interview going and going. I think they suspected something was wrong.
A scoop
imagine realizing you're interviewing a monster
So the moral of the Stephen McDaniel story is: never trust a dude with troll hair.
As usual you're spot on about his bad acting doing a Live Lie Cry! My 15 year old boy thinks I'm a paranoid idiot but there are Monsters that live among us and they don't always look like Trolls or have Hair Islands.
Sandra Myers
You are correct
Is that a Russel Williams reference--hair island? Lol!
@@scottgraham4038 I couldn’t take my eyes off that hair patch
@@mickey6275 I have a friend who has one. Every time I see him, I think of Russell.
Among us
Good point when you questioned how Stephen would know that "no one's seen her since Saturday". I totally missed that huge clue!
ottawaandy If anyone had researched this case, it's a simple answer. During the huge search, Stephen was with tons of family members, friends, classmates, and neighbors. Also cops talk a lot. He knew thru all of those ppl the last time she was seen and heard from.
@@dariahughes5564 I think most of the subscribers have done a lot of research on this case but I can see how that statement could go either way.
#LieCry
/lʌɪ/krʌɪ/
verb
shed tears, typically as an expression of distress, pain, or sorrow while telling a lie or lies.
"don't lie cry-it'll be all right, Lizard Boy" *rub shoulder*
I may have too much free time on my hands... 😂
Your comment made my day!!
Lol love it!
I lie-cried today, and this video was the wake up call I needed. Imma take a deep breath, apologise and face the music.
Dogs r best alarm system. And for those who aren't allowed pets car alarms on wrist will make entire neighborhood take notice immediately.
I was thinking the same thing. But, who knows with this guy!
They often kill the dog, either days before or when they break in. Thats why my dog was never alone outside.
Juanita Richards I agree not to leave them alone outside!🤗
But although it does happen and nothing is %100, stats in high numbers of criminals reported they just passed houses with dogs, it's way easier...
Serenity M yes with this guy it may not have mattered, I think because she was moving away he would go to any lengths to kill her before he'd let her move away forever😬
Good evening from Germany :) Love your style! Keep going strong!
#1 maybe he held on to the evidence as a trophy. He couldnt handle that she was about to move, so he killed her, then he couldnt bear to part with the tokens of her. Or #2 he kept the evidence bc he thought he was smarter and could beat the wrap.
J&A gang J&A gang I think yes to both of those, actually
He clearly thought he could hide behind his troll hair and if he went on the news and lie-cried, they'd never suspect him.

Hey Chad! Good morning!
Good afternoon. Greetings from Portugal 😉
Hello good morning Chad
Good morning from Virginia!
So glad I found your channel. I love your viewpoint and you are hilarious but still serious.
Chris Watts did the same slow blink that Scott Peterson did in his diane Sawyer interview
Interesting comparisons
I have a script to work on, but screw it!
TRUE CRIME LOSAAAAAH!
Noods
Wow, I am addicted to your channel...been watching for 3 days...hilarious
We haven't seen True Crime Loser since yesterday.
We don't know where he is!
TCL great video as usual. From Lebanon - Middle East
Alright. I watched the second one, then the first, and finally this one(:
Super new to your channel, and I'm loving it already. I really love how simple it is. Thanks and keep up the good work 👍❤
Another interesting video TCL
You must be very busy now with your new popularity.
Alison Lee, I was just thinking exactly the same about the Mick Philpott case! Hope TCL finds the time to look.🐾
@Jane McCarthy I know, it's nauseating 😥
This has always been my favorite interview ever.

Was waiting for this....great job as always!!! Keep them coming!
I do agree about the bad acting. But I also think he is pissed about the body being found so soon.
Maybe, but I doubt the reporter told him something he didnt know. He was probably creeping around the police investigation and knew they found a body.
J&A gang J&A gang - I agree. I had not seen the second media interview until now. Pretty obvious bad acting.
@@loriallen4662 Wasn't the body just in the complex dumpster? To me someone who does that and lives there close to it wanted it to be found.
nope, after he killed her he went to the internet to do a search on how to dispose of a body. He cut her in pieces and dumped the pieces in several different thrash cans. Most of them were picked up by the time the police arrived, except the one that had the torso in, and only that one happened to be near his apartment. He clearly didn't want it to be found.
Love your channel man! Keep up the good work. Cheers from Spain.
PS: "The hair was there Staeeeeven"
You should cover some classic To Catch a Predator
Not only is it comic gold watching would-be child molesters shit their pants but some of the guys were truly monsters in their own right and are worthy of an in-depth video
"I just want everybody to be safe.. Like if someone has them, I want them to come back, like right now"
CW ‘s silly statement when we all could see he was lying.
I yean, I don’t agree that mention of “the body” was bad acting. I yean I think it was good acting because it looked like he wasn’t expecting it to be found. I yean who would do a thing like that? I think I gotta sit down ....
I yean, i disagree with you but I yean we all still think you're as nice as can be.

👩🏼💻 sneaking away from the desk to enjoy another TCL narrative...the boss can wait.😁👍🏻
You're a saint for doing these in the morning lolol
You nailed it about chronic liars. They confuse people not caring enough to "call them out" with them being "GOOD at deceiving".
Those two interviewers from Stephens interrogation were so patient.... I wonder how he would have done with the lady that gave Chris Watts the lie detector test and interview.....???
Oh you know Tammy would not have put up with that act. She would have broke him down.
I would freaking love to have seen that
She wouldn't have gone for that act for even a minute!!!!
tammy would've destroyed him
I am glad to see you! You do the southern accent so good!
Lol... Stayvin, Stayvin, why you lie cryin' Stayvin. 🤣
Troll head 😂😂😂
You crack me up.
I love your channel
"Stay-ven" Lol!! Also, I love when you laugh at yourself and the things you say! Too cute!
Thanks TCL! 👏😀👍
Thank you Schmita for helping me cope with insomnia.
Αγάπη μόνο.
I’m so addicted to your show. You are HILARIOUS 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Troll hair, lol. Love a good liecry
Your Chris Watts voice is spot on, that croaky sound is sooo aggravating
Styphen almost having a coronary on camera when he heard a body had been found wasn’t at all suspicious.
