    New follower here. I'm a still just a beginner keeper, but I love your content, and appreciate the education. It's clear you genuinely care about the animals and the integrity of the hobby overall.

    Great video! I had a female pure dwarf for a while but sadly sold her due to having a baby and a change of housing situation. Really miss her more than all my other Royals, Boas etc hence why I'm searching for youtube vids just to look at some. Mine was 3rd gen captive and was a bit wild a times but with the correct housing and some patience they calm down. If you can take a nip every now and again they're not a problem,

    Dwarf Burmese is on my list. Pattern is better than mainland.

    What would you say the average size dwarf vs. half-dwarfs are? Male and / or female. Hard to find pure dwarfs so curious about the 1/2s as well

    Great video pal! The dwarf looks more like a ceylonese with it's pattern. Both are stunning though.

    Really enjoyed watching this again. Looking forward to the new snake I’m getting from you! Would love one of these, but have recently extended my b.c. amarli’s viv to 7.5ft wide, and would want to give one of these the same, and don’t want my place to look like a reptile shop, so won’t be going there (yet lol).

    Got any updates on dwaft burms? Sd/d retics are everywhere. Curious to see a comparison now in 2020 vs it being a yearling.

    Do you always have dwarf Burmese pythons in and whats sort of price do they go for

  • @beaglegod1
    @beaglegod1 7 років тому +2

    Can't find these anywhere here in the U.S. Going to the reptile expo in new York next month but all burms and Retics are illegal in new York so that won't be an option.

      Snakes 'N' Adders I read that dwarf burms had a very defensive temperament that not true? Perhaps just the initial wild caught individuals?

    • @SnakesNAdders
      @SnakesNAdders  7 років тому +2

      the wild caught stuff were total wankers. capti e bred far more evenly tempered. still the occasional grump but on the whole a world better.

    Great video thanks!
    What is the best nighttime temperature? Also at what humidity do you keep these snakes?
    Cheers!

    • @SnakesNAdders
      @SnakesNAdders  7 років тому

      Nick van Goethem 28 at night during normal care. 26 during brumation (over 16hrs rather than 12) where the day would be 34 instead of 32 for 8 hrs instead of 12.

      Thanks for the quick reply! Kuch appreciated! Regular humidity, I assume, i.e. 55-65% ?

    • @SnakesNAdders
      @SnakesNAdders  7 років тому

      yes during regular care. brumation would coincide with a spike in humidity seasonally lower baromic pressure will also help induce copulation.
