I think the approach to these videos is just great. No “do’s and donts” just ideas and suggestions. If you are someone looking to be stylish, these videos give a great guide. When you find your own style, you will feel very confident in how you look and that will lead onto you are seen by others. I wish I could afford these clothes. As an OAP, I have a limited budget (think near to zero) but am lucky enough to have good clothes from when I was working. Good quality clothes in (hopefully) timeless styles. I don’t think we often get near the floor in these videos but a couple of my bug bears is trousers that are the wrong length - no break, mid break, full break are all personal choices but those trousers that are 4”too long? Just careless. I don’t know what people wear a suit to portray an image and then wear trousers that don’t fit. Finally, shoes. Repaired and clean. Parade glops or not, doesn’t matter - just cared for.
Thank you for your interest in tie knots! We actually have a "How to Tie a Tie" series on our channel that covers various knots in detail. You can check it out here: ua-cam.com/video/nhUgYZ_ZMTc/v-deo.html. We hope you find it helpful!
Full marks, Chris. 👍I always look forward to these videos for your thoughtful, well put together, styling content as well as the more imaginative looks that challenge convention. My additional takeaway from this one is not to be afraid of using a mis-matched pocket square. In one of your previous videos, you brilliantly styled the blazer with a pale beige double -breasted waistcoat, white shirt, and two colour repeat pattern check (or puppy tooth) tie. For the middle ground between formal and informal, I believe a blazer can look good with an open neck shirt and a traditional cravat. Although widely seen as out of fashion, I would like to think that the cravat still has a place in any well dressed gent's wardrobe for the added colour and interest they have to offer.
Modoo is so hip. Just look at how he ties his tie. Look at the dimple he gets. Look at the shape he gets. I know these are subtleties, but Modoo is always on top of his game.
@RampleyandCo Thank you, kind Sir, for the acknowledgment. Correction: Soft Pink dress shirt, with a Medium Forest Green tie with Pink, Yellow and soft brick Red geometric patterns
Great question. Blazers typically feature bold colours and structured designs, while suit jackets are more formal and come with matching trousers. Hope this helps!
Liked most of these, though I'm not to sure about the "subdued " pocket squares. I could barely see those things again the navy backdrop when the camera panned back. I think I just would have gone with a white pocket square instead of those 🔭
I really love what you're wearing May I ask what colour are your shoes because I've heard you are supposed to accessories with same colors but I see you have a gold watch
That’s also one of the beauties of the blazer…pants can be as formal or casual as you’d like. From tan, lighter gray or olive dress slacks to cotton khaki’s to jeans. It all works depending on what you’re wearing above the waist. A polo shirt or more casual long-sleeve shirt works great with jeans.
Excellent video as usual. This is slightly off topic, but I noticed you wearing a distinctive watch strap. Was this toned with belt and shoes as I tend to do, or was it a colour pop, also something I like. How about a video on this topic of accessories?
It’s a tangerine leather strap from Fears. I rarely wear a belt and never wear orange shoes. We have covered matching leathers in your outfit. I am sure those nice people at Rampley will drop a link here…
A master class in styling, and not simply wearing, a navy blazer

Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment! We're so glad you appreciate the approach to our videos.
Chris, always great to see videos released from you.
Please can you tell us about the various knots on the ties🙏🏻Thank you.

I like the pink shirt example.
Fab advice, makes perfect sense when this is explained, with the different combinations and colours. Really enjoying the videos.
So glad!
I love your ties and pocket squares. I'm not sure I can afford them, but they are my aspirational pieces. They are just so beautiful.
Do you have a video to talk about what trousers/pants to wear with a navy sports coat?
Not yet….but a great idea for future content.
I love your sport coat! Fabulous videos

I don't like the whole dimple thing, I like a smooth Windsor knot.
Absolutely fantastic, excellent suggestions!!!
Looking forward to more hints and tips.
More to come!
Always appreciate the styling suggestions, thanks
Refreshing balanced and very informative, appreciated, thank you
Very well put together! Just bought a Navy Blazer will draw from this for sure
Great information! Would you be willing to do a similar video with a white linen jacket? I am looking for ideas for a Summer wedding
If not just white perhaps white, beige, and cream since these can all be interesting in different environments
I've done pink and green ties with geometric patterns
Thanks for sharing!

Love these videos - could you possibly do one styling real men rather than a mannequin and how different hair/skin contrasts impact choices?
Hy SIR I'm ur big fan of ur great attractive personality,& I always follow ur great tips or attractive ideas of dressings I'm from Pakistan 😊❤👍
No contrasting buttons on the blazer?
$170 for a tie. Okay thats an investment piece. But it looks so good! And that fabric 🥰🥰🥰
We're glad you like it!
Beautiful look
Hi sir, that jacket looks like a suit jacket. Can you help me in making the distinction with a blazer/suit jacket?
Great question. Blazers typically feature bold colours and structured designs, while suit jackets are more formal and come with matching trousers. Hope this helps!

Exactly
5:00 ... Love it... great combination.
Great one!
Thanks!
Pink and red gives a more royal look in my opinion.
I really love what you're wearing
May I ask what colour are your shoes because I've heard you are supposed to accessories with same colors but I see you have a gold watch
Not gold shoes! Brown suede loafers…
What type of pants would you recommend being worn with the blazer?

@@rpd5429make sure that it’s a less structured blazer if you wear it with polo and jeans.
Mid grey wool trousers.
Cavalry twill.

This guy knows what he is talking about.
Does anyone know what wristwatch he is wearing? The gold and leather tones work nicely.
Yes. It is a 1960s Seiko sportsmatic.
excelent vid
Thank you!
Most very nice and, frankly, how I've been dressing for 50 yrs.
Thank you for your kind words! We’re glad to hear our style resonates with you and appreciate you sharing your experience.

Somebody please bring back the pinstriped-double breasted suit!
…they are still available tailored or ready-made.
Be the change you want to see in the world, so start wearing them.
Teal? A colour that women like to see on men, I gather.
Leider nimmt die Eleganz sich chick zu kleiden ab. Die Gesellschaft verwahrlost.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
Without the tie the look was lack luster. To be avoided.
