I'd like to tell you that the parrot you saw in Barcelona is very common in my country, Uruguay; in the past, people used to have them at home as pets, they repeat phrases and are very funny. They are commonly known as "cotorras".

Barcelona is a beautiful city. The Segrada Familla is 142 years, the first stones were laid in 1882. My mom and I did a tour of Spain in 2008 and a our last stop was Barcelona. I took a picture of the sone that had 1882 etched on it. Bacelona Cathedral in the Barri Gotic is over. 800 years old. I've always remembered when Segrada Familia was built because it had been in existence for 100 years by 1982 when I was born.
We just booked our first cruise ever for May and we are sailing to Alaska. I have to say I would do a Virgin cruise just for the food alone! Looks like you all are having a good time 😊
