I thought ' yeah , these guys are the real deal', then i started diving into Jack's content. Any doubters should see the 'Song of Two' portfolio study is astute, 'Bach' (esp. contrapunctus xi) healed my soul. Genius, visionary, and a place in the universe that is truly Jack's.
@@jmaguire2232 I mean I think they’re kinda boring as songwriters but they’re great musicians and I REALLY respect them as producers and dedication to the sound
@@dyl_out idk the music just doesn’t do it for me, they’ve have some good stuff and I’d certainly take Vulfpeck over snarky puppy any day, but it often comes off as insanely repetitive and too rhythmic without a solid melody, which seeing as the entire point of vulfpeck was to just make an instrumental rhythm section, does make sense.
i feel like rehearsing would probably cut out a lot of filler nonsense that i witnessed when i saw them years ago. A lot of hand clapping and not a lot of imrpovised jamming lol
No doubt Jack is the driving force of the Vulf phenomenon. He's a renaissance man of our times.
Just like Stu with King Gizz.. driven individuals

I think the word they're trying to look for at the end of that conversation was authenticity
Vulfpeck is insane. Just outrageous. Gearslutz seethe over them and try to diminish. But they are a monumentally great bunch of players.
