I love your husband’s dancing. You have a gentle soul, it shows when you stop to feed the cats. Real nice. I’m planning my Camino for April-May 2024. I can’t wait.
Love that shot on Alto Del Perdon showing the clear skies to the West and to the East the ridge marking the line of the fog. Looked fantastic! Buen Camino!
Beautifully put together. Thanks for sharing your journey. One of my regret was not able to continue from Orisson to Roncesvalles on our Camino due to Europe intense heatwave. Thanks for sharing this portion that I missed 2:50. Insightful narrative. Looking forward to more videos. Buen Camino!
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. We also missed a small portion of the Camino this time. But i find it to be the perfect excuse to go again :)
WOW!!! Love your video! you're a natural at story telling... so soothing. I will be walking the Camino next September. Was nice to see a Canada Passport at the beginning. I am also Canadian. Looking forward for the next Video !!
I'm pretty excited for my 2023 Camino Frances also. Fly out of Vancouver to Madrid May15. Really enjoy watching these videos. It gets me all pumped up to get walking.
Thank you for taking us on this trip with you. You are a really nice couple and the voice sounds extremely sympathetic. 🙃 Nice footage, good sound, thanks! Greetings from Germany Sascha
Nice vid, narration very pleasant, and shows Camino Frances at a time late in the year, I'm interested in October or April. Dont want the big crowds but dont want to be totally alone either. Thank you
Thank you! This is our second time walking in October and we really enjoy the cooler weather. The trail has enough people for good company, but not overwhelmingly crowded. I hope you get to walk the Camino in the New Year!
Loved your story. Very well done. I have subscribed and hope to receive your accounts on the rest of the Camino. I live in Toronto and I am interested in walking the Camino Frances. Just researching now. I am not an absolutely fit 68 year old but I love walking and do short daily walks. I need to learn how to prepare myself for one of these long walks. I am motivated by all of your stories. Take care and hope to see your future videos.
Thank you! I hope you make it to the Camino Frances soon! I met so many people from different places and different ages walking the Camino. I really believe the Camino provides a way for everyone :) Cheers!
hi from Hamilton, l have been binge watching the various camino routes. here's hoping at 63 my first one from Porto next Spring. My daughter is considering going too ❤️
Padron peppers miss them. We ended up getting them when we got back to Halifax but they were never as good as on the Camino in 2016 and 2019. I've had my stomach removed due to cancer. And I need a stent put in for my heart and am looking forward to recovering enough to do the Camino again. Maybe 2024.
@@avendanoable no worries understand! Planning the walk same time you guys travelled wanted to see the end of your travels. Thank you. Will look out for it when its up. Cheers Mickey
I loved your video and all the beautiful close up animals you filmed (the border patrol, cows ordering @ the window & los muchos gatos) haha. I'm planning to return to complete the Camino Norte this October but wonder if I'll see many other hikers & if some of the alberges will be closed. Granted you were on the busier route, but did you see any places closed on your journey?
Hi, thanks for this video. We’ll do Camino from Sarria for 5 days starting Oct 21, 2023z. In your experience, did it rain much during that time? Thanks
Hi is there a bus from Roncevalles to Pamplona ? and from there on i’ll walk or take another bus to Leon or Burgos ? 😊 Thanks am planning to do Camino but with a combination of bus and walk except when i reach Sarria when i have to walk until Santiago Thanks
I'm planning an October start too - so checking as many videos that hike during that time. Not so fussed about heat, but hope for dry days. It seems it can be changable day by day and year by year.
Hi i have some questions regarding the weather, clothing, etc.. and if the Pyrénées route was open. What was the weather like and what clothing did you have? Im staring October 14th.
The weather was great! We only experienced a lot more rain when we entered Galicia. But all the way from St. Jean to Leon there wasn't much rain. We did get extreme wind while we were on the Meseta. We started Oct. 8th and the Pyrenees route was open, with lots of pilgrims crossing. The albergue in Orrisson was also open :) I posted a packing list on the description of the video below, in case you're interested :) ua-cam.com/video/Nj1rNaHhGBM/v-deo.html
@@avendanoable Thank you too! I am planing to walk the camino from SJPDP in may/june next year. I was looking at the Osprey Tempest 30 but maybe that might be a little small? Were you happy with the size of 36L?
Hi Nicole! I was very happy with my pack :) The only thing that would’ve made it better is if it was lighter 😂 If you can fit everything in the 30L then it’s perfect! P.S. The bulkiest item in my pack was my sleeping bag. I’m on the search for a smaller one for next year. :)
I really liked the weather in October. We like hiking in cooler weather so we usually start early. In the Meseta we got really windy days and it was cold. In early November further into Galicia we started to get lots of rainy days. But i guess that's no surprise :P

Great music, and great shooting. And, thankfully, not too much commentary. Thank you!

Great mini docu series. I liked the boarder security and the rolling clouds that lead into the stunning views
Glad you enjoyed it
That's a fast walk.

I walked it in May, and it’s one of the best things i’ve ever done 🥰

How busy was the trail? May was quite nice...
The trail wasn't too busy. I was worried that it would be super crowded but I guess that was more true during the summer :)
