Nice playing, i have been watching you for a while, and i wanted to ask, is Wizard worth the money, and is there any affordable substitutions for the Wizard sound?
@@startale123 thanks, your question is a matter of opinion and maybe preference based on what one deems valuable or worthwhile for a specific purpose. All that being said, the Wizard 3D sound is hard to replicate. If you play even the finest amps side by side with one it’s really hard to argue that they’re special. The EVH EL34 Stealth 100w is in the ballpark of the MCII but doesn’t have the clarity or dynamics. But, for metal - whether live or recorded they’ll both do a fantastic job. Rick is a friend so it’s easy to support his work. Thanks!
That thing sounds pissed!! Nice!
Sounds like a wizard 🤣
@@TheGrahamman84 it sounds good but it’s definitely not in the same league, YT might mush the audio, in the room it’s a whole different story.
Sounds killer.
This actually sounds pretty damn good. And fairly priced. What pickup in this guitar? Rebel Yell? Nazgul?
Guitar is loaded with a BareKnuckle Alnico Nailbomb in the bridge position. Thanks
haha, dual chug, sounded mean brother!
High Voltage Chug 👿 Love to see her against A Orange ThunderVerb! Good Shit.

@@wizardsouthJP thanks for the answer, i have been considering a wizard for a while and i think i might pull the trigger soon.
Does this amp approach anything else in your collection? How does it fare against your Rockerverb 100 Mk3?
@@progrocker84 for the money it hangs with some of them at least for vicious chuggy
Caveman metal
👍 chug chug chug chug… 😝
what speaker in the cab?

@@wizardsouthJP nice match
goes to show that even the finest gear wont make you a guitar player.
@@Willjrockstar not sure if that’s a compliment or an insult - ouch.
@@wizardsouthJP ..that was kind of a dick comment. Tone and playing demo was great.
Sounds cool, very different to a tube amp distortion though
@@theoryofthrash the distortion is 4 gain stages from 2 - 12ax7 if I recall James Brown’s explanation of his design.
@ ah interesting!
@ Mr Brown’s comment on Euge Valovirta’s demo of the amp is helpful - check it out
When you pretend to know but don't know crap of what you're talking about.
This is tube amp DISTORTION 😂😂😂
Guitarists once again falling victim to the Placebo by hearing things that don't exist lol
