    All you have to do is discharge more than 50% a few time and you'll be changing.

    A lead acid battery fully charged is 13.2 volts. 2.2 volts on 6 cells. Not 12.7

      As per Renogy, "A fully charged 12V lithium iron phosphate battery should read between 13.4 Volts and 13.6 Volts at rest."
      Also on the Renogy web site, "fully charged lead acid battery might read between 12.3 Volts and 12.6 Volts at rest"

    The cost of solar now days is really cheaper than lead acids headaches. For 2500 bucks 7.68kwh 24v system. Very cheap anymore. Two power queen batteries 1500
    Bucks. All in one sungold charge controller 600 bucks. 1020 watts of panels 200bucks. 200 bucks for fuses and wire.

      Where are you going to get 1020 watts of solar for $200, give me a break. More like $200 for 200 watts.

      @@jerrytalley802 SAN TAN SOLAR THEY'LL SHIP ANYWHERE IN THE LOWER 48. MY 255 WATT
      CANADIAN SOLAER USED
      50.00 BUCKS WHEN I BOUGHT THEM. I THINK THEY'RE CHEAPER NOW.

      @@jerrytalley802 used panels all over the place 250-280 watts for $25-50 each .. that would do it …
