It’s difficult to put the experience into words... I spent many amazing evenings at Sompasauna with great people, enjoying the sauna and cooking on the oil drum bbq. Walking out there, through the construction sites just added to the mix of feelings - always reminding me how one day all of it will come to an end.
It’s so hard to explain and it feels like the city lost part of its soul, even if it was inevitable. The new location is fine, but there was something so romantic about the old spot. I don’t mean to whine too much, but I’m so happy I spent so many nights with great people around makeshift bbqs and fires grilling sausages and enjoying the sea.

Glad you didn’t film the naked people without permission. Great video though keep em coming
Massive like even if I'm not a stoner anymore...
The place definitely attracts stoners and that crowd, but the real charm is it being the only free public sauna in Helsinki.
