Hi Rachel thanks for those great tips. I used some of them after and they really do work. The gouache I find it depends a lot on the brand. Sc one of them are not WHITE enough for the paper. I have some gouache here and they are anything but white. And the watercolour white isn't great. Except Winsor & Newton that's ok. I find this brand Elements Acryllic white in pot or tube is good. The tube I have is Titanium white with 120ml. And it's very reasonably priced. I have both tube and pot. The tube is really handy for carrying around. It's got me out of jail. 🤣🤣🤣. Not bad at all. Love your cat. Can see he/ she is your baby. ❤. Animals give us so much love. I love them too. I have a little dog here. She's everything to me. I adore her. Much love Susan xxx❤❤❤❤👍🤗🤗🤗🐶😺🐾🐾🕊🕊🕊
I'm glad the tips were helpful and yes it's hard to find a really good white - I recently read a tip by Judy Morris that she takes her paper to a hardware store and matches a flat white paint to it!!! I have a new kitty now - Flerken - he's such a love bug!

Great, helpful video, Rachel. I've used them all....if one doesn't work, I move on to the next. I always let my paper dry between tries.

I have used watercolor ground and it works well, not as good as the paper, color doesn't move as well but you can get good results.
