Aw aylysh, thank you so much!! This makes me so happy! The gel plate is fun and I’ve not broken one…yet! I really appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment ❤️😁
I'm a somewhat experienced gel plate enthusiast, and your video was so rewarding to watch, if only because you showed so many fun and really interesting techniques! I loved the little glue filaments effects, being so organic and thready lol. I had a great laugh when you described your first magazine print working. I finally tried it about two weeks ago, and when it finally worked after may failures, I also was probably a bit loud about it haha. I subbed, and can't wait to see what's next. Until next time. :)
Hi, thank you for inspiring today’s video!!! Your comment reminded me I needed to purchase a decent glue gun, so I made the effort today! I’m so glad I did, I made lots of little threads knobbly messy bits, which I love so much! Image transfers are like a right of passage to call yourself a gel plater. Those who can go through the agony of getting an image transfer deserve a gel plate crown and some sort of prize from the gel plate company 😁

Can you do that to stencils you’ve made a while ago? I forgot to flatten them as I was making them so I find pressing them down evenly difficult. If I could heat them up just enough it’d save me trouble!
Enjoyed this very much. Clearly explained techniques with lots of variety. Thank you for mentioning the need to let the paint dry. I have watched many instructional videos and it’s seldom touched on. I’m Scottish, and it was so refreshing to listen to another Scot. Very many thanks.
Hi Barbara, I feel like we are pretty rare on here (us Scottish folk). I’m from East Kilbride near Glasgow. I think the gel plate has so much potential and I would like to purchase a very big one to make big prints one day. I love making full pictures on the gel plate and lifting in 1 pull. I rarely start on paper these days.
I just bought a gel plate and almost gave up because i didn't know anything about it. This was so helpfull I cant wait to go out to play and try all your techniques and materials!!! thank you so much
Hi kendyl, I’m soooooooo glad you didn’t give up! It took me a while to get out of the way of just using generic stencils and 2 paint layers…although that’s still fun, it’s good to be able to do more and make a finished picture. The art whisperer does good abstracts on it, his videos are quite long, but you really pick up the steps he’s using. Yeates makes is quite experimental, especially his older videos. I learned a lot from these 2 channels. Enjoy and maybe if you start posting on IG or somewhere you could let me know.
Me too! So far all I’ve made is a big mess. Very little came with the plate by way of instructions, so I am having to watch YT videos. I need something like Gelli Plate For Dummies. I keep having to restart this video because the audio isn’t great and she has a thick accent.
I did some print making at art school and this is a pretty comprehensive tutorial with great results using readily available and affordable supplies. I watched the whole thing. I loved the organic hot glue patterns and the lace doiley. Sigh ❤❤❤
Hi rachelle and Richard, your comment has made my day, week, year!! I’ve been trying to learn about printmaking and to hear your opinion is really really helpful. Thank you ❤️ The lace doiley is just perfect. I’ll never throw it out…if it stops working I’ll frame it 😂. I love the hot glue too, it is very plant like I think with the corners and changing thickness of the lines. I’m very glad you watched it, and for your comment ❤️❤️❤️
I appreciate you pointing out the value of all marks, even those that are not "perfect". I learned about new tools today and I feel inspired. Thank you!
Aw Margaret, thank you!! I love printmaking, even if I had the money for a big press…I certainly don’t have the space!! I try to adapt what I can to the gel plate. One day I’ll make a big one to use.
Thank you, thank you! I appreciate all of your ideas and the way you organize them for us in your videos. I'm looking forward to trying some of them tonight!
This is EXACTLY what I was looking for! Only recently discovered gel plate printing and I'm fascinated. Liked and subscribed so fast! Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge. ❤
Hi Reagan, apologies for the late reply. We were away for the weekend and tried to not use our phones (which isn’t easy, I’m on mine all the time 😖). This is wonderful to hear, I do try to give clear explanations and it’s good to hear I’m on the right path, thank you!!!
Hi Reni, thank you. I watch a lot of gel plate videos too, I don’t know why I like them..but I do!!! I’m extra glad you liked mine now. I thought black and white would keep it simple, but it looks so good. I need to do more of these colours. 🥰
The one you just pounced with a rag was my favorite ❣️. It had so much depth. You certainly are inventive when coming up with all the mark making pieces❣️
Hi Pattie, apologies for the late reply. It was a family emergency yesterday, my parents house was burnt down, no one was hurt, and they’re fine. That happens with views and subscribers. Anyway I’d rather have interested subscribers. Sometimes you see a channel with thousands of subscribers and very little views on recent videos, which makes no sense. Thank you and I’m glad you liked it. And you’re very kind 🥰
This was a wonderful video Kirsten! I've never seen the water technique or the aluminum foil process (that one really has my head spinning with possibilities!) And the texture mediums too, wow! This was so amazing, I will re-watch many times for sure. Thanks so much.
Texture mediums are Windsor newton galeria. Much much cheaper than Liquitex etc. the aluminium tape is very easy to use. I do always end up with a couple of wrinkles, but flawless art is a bit boring anyway. I’ve been watching a lot of proper printmaking videos, like marta at collograph printing. Also the curious printmaker has a very clear and simple blog about printing with everyday objects (I found her on Pinterest). Thank you again Kathy, you’ve made me feel really amazing!!!!
@@quirkyqueens Thanks, great to know, will be giving the Galeria a try! I was telling my husband about the foil tape and he was so impressed! Thanks for all you do for the community, you're the best!
Hi Shelley, thank you so much!!!!!!! This is brilliant to hear. I love everything about the gel plate. It’s so versatile. I never appreciated the Scottish accent before I started UA-cam, now I’m thankful for it!! 😁🥰
I'm not even through the entire video yet and am absolutely loving your techniques. Can't wait to finish and start trying some. I am especially glad that you did all black and white, that is exactly what I want to start playing with and you gave me some fantastic ideas. Also, I could listen to your accent all day! I'm so glad this video popped up for me so that I can explore your channel for more!
Hi S, apologies for the delayed reply, my parents house burnt down on Friday…it’s been chaotic, but no humans or animals were hurt, which is all that matters really. I read your comment when you first wrote it, and the first line made me smile…it was good timing on your part!! I thought black and white would keep it simple, but I too liked the look of it too!! I want to dive more into the texture gels and mount board, I think that will be my first port of call once my parents are sorted.
Hi wens, that is a big compliment…thank you!!!!!!!!! I watch a lot of printmaking videos for ideas to use on the gel plate. I like to make things that can be done at home, a lot cheaper too!
Hi, thank you for the compliment about my humour…the rest of it doesn’t matter!! Seriously though, I’m glad you liked it and found it helpful. I will be trying a lot more soon. I have an art fair I am selling at in 3 weeks, so concentrating on that currently. Preparing art for sale is a much harder and time consuming job than I anticipated!!
Hi Monique, thank you!! I like the water technique, it’s pretty easy…although I’m a bit impatient for when I want the look of it when it dries on the plate!!!
Hi Debra, sorry for the late reply, I’ve had a bug. And thank you, I watch a lot of printmaking with a press videos and think of ways to adapt it to the gel plate. It’s my favourite piece of art equipment.
Hi Puppydood, I’m sorry for the late reply. My daughter was married on Friday (lots of preparation…and a hangover) and I don’t like to give a random “gee thanks” reply. I’d rather wait and reply properly. My gel plate has been through the wringer!! I have the 5x7 and 8x10. I’m sure 8x10 was about £20, so I don’t mind experimenting on it as it’s a manageable price…I’ve not needed to replace it…yet 😂 Bigger size gel plates become ridiculously expensive!! I’m really glad you liked it. I think the gel plate is a very under rated art tool. 🤗
Congratulations on the wedding 🎉😊. I’m quite new to gel plates, but thrilled to find your channel which really pushes the techniques and lots of innovation. ❤. The first time I did a ‘pull’ from a magazine picture it blew my mind!! I know people often use a gel plate just to rattle off a load of flat backgrounds, but your prints are works of art in themselves. Subscribed !!
@@puppydood thank you!!!!! Other printmaking techniques don’t make background or collage papers. Neither should the gel plate!! My dream is to make a very big gel plate and print final pieces on canvas (which is a lot cheaper than trying to frame a massive sheet of paper). Have you watched collographprinting channel. I like a lot of her techniques. She explains things very well. Although she uses a press, a lot of it is adaptable to the gel plate.
Hi Merry, please accept my apologies for such a late reply. I’m soooooooooooooooooooooooo over the moon I’ve inspired you to unpack the gelli plate!! I find that a couple of carefree gel paint sessions really gives me more ideas when I’m painting too. ❤️🥰😊
Aw Jamie, thank you!!!!! That is wonderful to hear from you!!! I can’t help myself, I get a bit obsessive. Most of it is from watching printmaking videos. The gel plate is just the best £20 I ever spent!!!!!! Thank you ❤️
@@quirkyqueens good, I really enjoyed it and learnt a lot, kind of gave up on it as couldn't get it right after a while so I shall work my way through your video and hope for the best...think the timing of paint and paper is my problem 🤣🤣🥰🥰💐💐💐
Wow. Love the different effects you get with water. I’ve seen water applied to dry paint & paint lifted that way, which does look awesome but never seen it applied & pulled wet & those effects are super cool.
Hi Allison, thank you so much. I like the water effect, it makes everything softer, blurred and gives a lovely texture. I like how it looks when used with a similar shape that’s sharper and clearer.
I am so thrilled your video popped up in my search today ;))) I am near to all art I’m absolutely loving it at 58 years old😊. I have a few jelly plates already in different sizes and have been having such a great time. This was an awesome video with such great techniques, I loved your obvious enjoyment of sharing your art and techniques, and of course your accent.❤❤ i’m really looking forward to looking at your other videos and future ones as well I hope. Thanks so much for sharing ❤❤
Hi Suzy, thank you soooo much!! ❤️❤️❤️. There will be future ones very soon. I’ve had a bit of a crazy month with the family, plus this video doing so well has left me a bit nervous about making sure the next one is good 😱😵💫. I was doing roughly 3 videos a week, and would like to continue that. One day I hope to make a very large gelli plate. I am considering a 12x12, but the prices leap significantly above 8x10. I got back into art late 2020 during the pandemic, and it’s became my life. I feel very lucky to have rediscovered it (drawing cartoons was my childhood hobby). It’s awesome to meet a fellow late starter ❤️❤️❤️❤️
@@quirkyqueens I look forward to more videos, and in my very humble opinion😂 there’s no need to worry just do what you love to do I put it out there. I’m sure it will be terrific, look forward to it. I was sorry to read that your family had a horrible house fire. I’m glad to hear nobody was hurt, including pets, but still it is still tragic. Sending good thoughts to all, I love to know that you have just started this part of your journey later in life as well. Keep arting ❤️
Hi Jill, thank you!!! It took me nearly 2 years to learn the importance of waiting…the desire to keep going is hard to resist. I’m glad you noticed the encouragement part, I’m very enthusiastic about the gel plate. I think it can be hard to draw and paint, but the gel plate offers a lot early on that helps you draw and paint too. Sorry, I’m rambling on my favourite topic….😂😁🥰
Hi Hilary, apologies for the late reply. I get more behind schedule everyday, but will always reply!! I’m really glad you liked it. I love being inspired by a UA-cam video, it’s such a good feeling. I hope you’ve created some stuff you’re very happy with. One of the other things I like is taking a method I’ve seen, then seeing how I can change it, push it further etc. I’m a bit of a nerd obviously 😂 Thank you, this makes me happy ❤️🪴❤️
For quite a while while watching you work with these techniques I wondered what you were dabbing the black and white paper/ clothe and then realised it was your cuff lol. Love watching you play while I’m resting love the gel plate I’m totally addicted can’t get enough of it. Thank you xx
Hi, I am the same…what was life before the gel plate?!?!?! My cuff wasn’t as close to the gel plate as it looked in the video, when I was editing it I did think “how lucky I didn’t dip it on the gel plate”. Thank you, I’m really glad you liked the video. I also watch gel plate videos when I am resting. Also printmaking and junk journal ones too. Xx
I have made it only as far as #1 and already I am intrigued! I watch a lot of videos, but this is the first time I have heard of thd water technique. Also, the watercolor (?) paintings to the side, during the foil technique, are lovely. Thank you!!
Hi Jerald, thank you!!! They were watercolours, I followed a beginner watercolour tutorial on UA-cam. I am too impatient to learn the rules of watercolours so only do the odd piece now and then. I always end up using it like acrylic paint!! I’m really glad you liked this video, and that you liked the water one. It makes good texture.
This is such a valuable video, especially since I am just learning how to do this. Thanks so much for taking the time to show the different techniques. 🙂
Hi wise woman, thank you!! I’m always thinking of different ways to use the gel plate. It’s soooooo versatile. I rarely start on paper these days. Straight to the gel plate 😁
I love the glue gun. I only have a small cheap one from Hobbycraft (cost £4 I think) so it’s a bit slow and spurty. I need to invest in a half decent one as I love glue gun stencils. Their lines and shapes look much less rigid on the final picture.
Kathy, this is the nicest thing and thank you from the bottom of my heart. You’ve made me feel like I do have something to offer that is helpful, and that is what I want to achieve. Please know I’m very grateful, thank you 💐 You’ve blown me away!!!!
@@quirkyqueens Aw, well it's a small token of a great appreciation, thanks for sharing and all of the time and effort you put into making such great content!
Hi fruitless, I love your UA-cam name…and your comments!! Thank you, I’m glad you liked it and the accent. Your comment made my day yesterday, I just had a few to reply to, and I hate generic replies.
Wow! Super tips! Well done… keep it up! Even us “old” artists love learning new tricks from the younger generation! Pulling my gelli plates back out today! I’m so inspired! You are a wonderful teacher and can’t help but love listening to your beautiful accent too! Kudos from the other side of the pond, in Austin, Texas! ❤
Hi, thank you, that is wonderful to hear!! Sorry I took so long to reply. I love being inspired by a video, it’s such a good feeling. I like your profile picture a lot. I looked on your profile, is it an abstract version of the thumbnail of your waterfall video? It’s just the darker pink at the bottom makes me think of the water going vertical then horizontal as it hits the ground…or am I way off?❤️🎄❤️
First off I love that your Scottish! ( im scottish, last name is Keith, but not from Scotland) 😂Second I just started with gel plates this week and felt frustrated with the limited info the company that makes the plates gives you... so when I found your channel, I could feel you pouring ideas and inspiration directly into my head! I had NO IDEA you could use charcoal, graphite, permanent markers, or soft pastels on these! Im SO excited to try your techniques! Thank you for making this video for newbies like me! If i hadn't found you, i might have given up. Im definitely going to buy one of those rubber tip brushes too!
Hi heather, even your first name is Scottish!!!! I’m so glad you’re not giving up on it. The gel plate is my favourite tool. One day I’d like to buy a very big one but the price rises steeply. Once I’ve got some more learning under my belt I will. I like your profile picture, it’s very gothic. I researched a lot of printmaking techniques and adapted them as best as I could to the gel plate. It’s very versatile. It wasn’t so long ago I was a newbie, I just got a bit obsessed with it 😱🫣🤣😂
Wonderful tips and techniques! Thank you for sharing…. And I could listen to your accent all day- just delightful! Your designs are really sweet. This is all very inspiring!
Hi lady tiedi, I know I’ve apologised already for the late reply to you 😖. I do mean it. Happy Hogmanay 🎉 I’m from near Glasgow in Scotland. I watch a lot of printmaking videos and try adapt to the gel plate. Although I got a big shot plus for Christmas. I will attempt to use it as a printing press in the next few days (I need to tidy up first 😖😩😖😩😖😩😂).
Oh how fun!@@quirkyqueens No worries on replies! Good heavens, you are creating!!! I will be interested to see how you like your Big Shot....have been wondering if they are worth the investment...but I do so love tools hahaha. Keep up the good work, please! oxoxoxo
Thank you for this.. it was so helpful and very wonderful. AND that you say to WAIT and let it Dry.. because many youtubers do not add that and many people get frustrated with their transfers and designs.
Excellent summary of these techniques Kristen! You are ver good at explaining these techniques. I still haven’t tried the scrafitto (not sure how to spell it) technique , on my list again now. It was very effective to use black and white for your summary. Thanks again for the inspiration!
Thanks yolande, I tried to keep it simple. I’ve been watching a lot of printmaking videos. I need to look into using texture pastes more strategically.
Hi Vatican, happy Hogmanay, that is so lovely to hear, thank you!! I live near Glasgow so a bit further down, but did live in England and Ireland prior to settling in Scotland aged 5 or 6, so it’s probably a slight mix. 😂😁
Darcy, I’m way behind. I watched your video yesterday morning and still haven’t responded. This is my numero uno video…so far…. (Positive thinking you see) ❤️
@quirkyqueens we love when you're there and no one gets upset when you've been gone from the lives. They know people have lives and come when they can. Plus you have the time difference excuse. 😉
That was an amazing , clear and creative demonstration of so many things that we are all set to try a lot of methods of using gel plates straight away . Thank you for such an interesting and comprehensive introduction .We are a couple of older artists in Edinburgh ready for another of your videos. 💚
Hi Mike, sorry for the late reply. I hate generic replies. I set time aside to properly reply, so it can be a bit delayed sometimes. I’m in East Kilbride. My husband to be (in a month) is from Bathgate. I love the gel plate, I found painting and drawing quite daunting as it always felt like I was failing. I also think the gel plate has given me much more insight into abstract art (which is my preference to realism). I’m starting an HNC in art this month and hope to get to Glasgow art school next year. We shall see….im nearly 50 trying to prove dreams can come true 😂🩵💛
These are FANTASTIC IDEAS Kirsten!!! The water one may be my favorite. I've NEVER seen anyone do that. Not even P!!! LOL! I'm going to incorporate these all into my gel printing. You are truly AMAZING!!! TFS! Austin TX USA
You are truly AMAZING too Barbara, you always make me feel good. It’s actually quite remarkable what the water does, it’s just a slower process so I put off using it.
I love this inspiring video you've made! I'm so happy to have found your wonderful ideas and methods at a time when I feel kind of stuck in my experimenting with the gel plate. Thank you so much for sharing!❤🌿
Hi Boel, I’m so glad you liked it…and thank you!! ❤️ I experience that a lot too. It’s hard when you think your creativity has gone. This video has been very popular, so I’ve been nervous to post a new gel plate video so have been trying different arts to inspire me. I have chosen to do altered playing cards instead, just to break that feeling. I love feeling inspired by a video ❤️🍂🍁
Yes, sometimes a good video can give lots of inspiration, just like yours did, and give a key to unlock the doors to creative art work. And sometimes we just need to do something totally different, like the playing cards, to find new inspiration. I wish you all the best on your beautiful creative journey and thanks again for helping me on mine💖🌿
Hi Lorraine, I’m so sorry for a terribly late reply. And thank you, I’m really glad you liked it…I like how some simple things can create lovely art on the gel plate. It’s so versatile, and it’s really improved my painting too!!!!!!!!!! ❤️
I found this very interesting. I love the hot glue and Lino techniques especially. I have never had any success with image transferring. I just don’t seem to get it right. You imagine looked fabulous. Thank you 😊
Hi Paula, it took me months to get my first image transfer…even then it was very grainy. My thoughts are stick to black, thin layer of paint and maybe use the same magazine or book to try from repeatedly. I think the high end magazines like vogue definitely work. I used a pepin press book…one page at a time until I got it. I’m pretty sure newspapers also work. I think using the same book or magazine gives you trial and error room. And thank you! I need to make more hot glue stencils. I think they were my favourite but I like I can use Lino over and over. 😊🥰
Me encantó tu video. Gracias! 🇺🇾
Wowsers this is definitely a video that will keep giving with each repeat viewing. Have you posted printed images anywhere as I'd love more time to view all your results. Thank you so much for sharing & g'day from Australia 🐨 🐾
Hi Faith, thank you!!! Awright from Scotland, it’s not got the same g’day vibe to it 😂. I don’t really at this time. I’ve put all my focus on UA-cam, but it is on the list of things to do. I have an instagram and Facebook with rare posts. I do have a Pinterest with some older pictures and UA-cam thumbnails. I do plan to build a small website, hopefully 2024. 🌲🌳🌲
Hi Anne, thank you!! My ultimate goal is to do a whole canvas with printmaking, however I haven’t quite worked out how to achieve that. I’ve done a few abstract type prints that I’ve built up in layers on the gel plate. One in particular I used mostly water with. It’s got a green vertical and a dark blue circle in the thumbnail picture. I’m really glad you liked it!!

Thanks Lynn. I loved that one too, I think it was more luck with where I placed the different paper types, I was so chuffed with it!! ❣️❣️❣️❣️
Great video of a variety of techniques. Thank you !
Love this! I feel sad that so many watched your video but failed to subscribe to help you out! So much information and unique ideas.
This was fabulous, now I know how to work the gel plate I've had for a while now. Thank you so much. And thank for your generosity.
Hi Louise, thank you too for watching and I’m so glad it inspired you. I hope that you love using your gel plate!!
This is one of the best geli plate videos out there. Very descriptive, and you have a nice voice which helps. Thank you .😊
Hi Shelley, thank you so much!!!!!!! This is brilliant to hear. I love everything about the gel plate. It’s so versatile.
I never appreciated the Scottish accent before I started UA-cam, now I’m thankful for it!! 😁🥰
I have watched many video’s of gel print creations and your video is by far the best and most creative by far…thank you.
Hi Shiela, thank you!!!! This is brilliant to hear, I do like trying new things on the gel plate. It’s really got a lot to offer.
Thank you, your video has got the creative juices going again.
Hi Janis, this is probably one of the best comments I’ve read!!! This is fantastic to hear.
I hope their still going 😁
@@quirkyqueens Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear about your parents home. thank goodness everyone is okay.
@@smat2272 ❤️❤️❤️
So many techniques! Thank you.
Hi S, thank you!!! I just love trying new things and the gel plate is just wonderful!!!
This is an absolutely fantastic video on gel printing, thank you!!!
Hi Lisa, I’m really glad you liked it. I’m a bit obsessed with gel printing!!!
What an awesome tutorial! You’ve demonstrated so many fun techniques that I’d like to try. Thanks!
Hi Lucy, thank you so much for this!! The gel plate is the best thing I’ve ever purchased!!
Yours is my new favorite UA-cam channel. Time to binge-watch! 😄
Hi, thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Best compliment ever 😁😁😁😁. I love watching a YT video and being inspired to do some art 😄
All I can say is printing has taken 10 more creative twists.. Can't wait to try it..Thank you
Hi wens, that is a big compliment…thank you!!!!!!!!! I watch a lot of printmaking videos for ideas to use on the gel plate. I like to make things that can be done at home, a lot cheaper too!
Excellent teaching skill. Love these tools. Lots of ideas. Your accent is lovely. I understand everything and your humor is dry so I love it.
Great video and so many creative ideas - especially the "water-technique"...I have never seen that one before !!!
Hi Monique, thank you!! I like the water technique, it’s pretty easy…although I’m a bit impatient for when I want the look of it when it dries on the plate!!!
Great ideas you open my eyes to different objects to use on my gel plate. I appreciate you following you.
Hi Debra, sorry for the late reply, I’ve had a bug. And thank you, I watch a lot of printmaking with a press videos and think of ways to adapt it to the gel plate. It’s my favourite piece of art equipment.
As soon as I saw how well used and loved your gel plate was, I knew this was going to be awesome! Thanks for sharing your expertise. 😊
I’m sure 8x10 was about £20, so I don’t mind experimenting on it as it’s a manageable price…I’ve not needed to replace it…yet 😂
Bigger size gel plates become ridiculously expensive!!
Thank you for sharing so many helpful tips for gel plate printing.
Aw you’re welcome Lisa, I’m so happy you watched it!!!!!!
Great video. I bought a gell plate about 2 years ago and haven't used it yet. You have inspired me to get started. ❤😊
Hi Merry, please accept my apologies for such a late reply. I’m soooooooooooooooooooooooo over the moon I’ve inspired you to unpack the gelli plate!! I find that a couple of carefree gel paint sessions really gives me more ideas when I’m painting too. ❤️🥰😊
Wow! What a WEALTH of information and ideas!!!!!! You are INCREDIBLE!!!
Aw Jamie, thank you!!!!! That is wonderful to hear from you!!! I can’t help myself, I get a bit obsessive. Most of it is from watching printmaking videos. The gel plate is just the best £20 I ever spent!!!!!! Thank you ❤️
This has got to be one of the best gelli videos I've ever watched, thank you so much for sharing 🥰🥰🥰💐💐💐💐💐
Hi B, thank you soooo much!!! This has made my day!!!!!!! 😍🥰😍🌼🌺🌼🌺🌼🌺🌼🌺🌷
@@quirkyqueens good, I really enjoyed it and learnt a lot, kind of gave up on it as couldn't get it right after a while so I shall work my way through your video and hope for the best...think the timing of paint and paper is my problem 🤣🤣🥰🥰💐💐💐
@@Truthfully7 that’s the hardest part!!! Temperature, humidity, brand everything plays a part. You do get used to it….promise 😂🤣😂🥰
Hi D, thank you too for watching. I’m glad you liked it!!!
Great info and encouragement to try as well as techniques, particularly leaving things to dry! Thanks 🤩
I find so much inspiration from watching you work! Thank you for sharing your videos with us.

Xx

Hi Nancy, thank you too for watching. I’m really glad you liked it.
I absolutely love these techniques! I did glue gun and it was my favorite! The string too. Thank you for sharing! 😁
I love the glue gun. I only have a small cheap one from Hobbycraft (cost £4 I think) so it’s a bit slow and spurty. I need to invest in a half decent one as I love glue gun stencils. Their lines and shapes look much less rigid on the final picture.
Wish UA-cam had recommended you to me earlier. Subscribed and going through past videos. Really enjoyed you as a teacher and as an artist.
Hi patches, that is soooooooo lovely to hear!!! Thank you!! I’m glad you like the videos.

Indeed that was a great video!

Hi Thea, thank you. I’m really glad you liked it!! X
Me encantó tu video. Gracias! 🇺🇾
Wowsers this is definitely a video that will keep giving with each repeat viewing.

Loving this. I'd be very interested to see how you incorporate prints into abstract paintings. 👍
