as someone who grew up in lunenburg, to anyone planing a trip there, make sure you visit J3 pizza when in town. J3 has some of the best pizza you'll ever have! thank you so much for letting me see my town again!
I actually have the great pleasure of living in this beautiful town. My children were fortunate to attend the 1895 built Lunenburg Academy, the ‘castle on the hill’. (Now our town library and a Musical Arts Academy). 🥰🇨🇦✨
As a Lunenburg resident, thank you for visiting and sharing our town’s beautiful sights, locations and activities. One recommendation for anyone who wishes to learn more about Lunenburg’s history is to visit the Knaut-Rhuland House Museum on Pelham Street. A museum interpreter can give you a personalized guided tour while walking through one of Lunenburg’s oldest houses (the museum).
Thanks for the very kind words. I love hearing from ‘out of Towners,’ ,who find our small part of the world and take it in. Hope you enjoyed! Please come back!
What a beautiful place to live! Ah, we visited a bit further south as well but not all the way down the coastline. Would love to reach the bottom half of the province on a future trip.
Thank you for the history of the schooner on our dime! I am sure the service in the ice cream place at Lunenburg is 100% better than the gelato place by the Trevi fountain in Rome!
Hi Samuel and Audrey, This is a fantastic video! You really included many great ideas for a visit to Lunenburg, it is an amazing place, thanks very much!
Beautiful photography of a very scenic town. Nice view of Zion Lutheran Church in your opening at 0:09. The street corner where the front door of the church is located was my Great (x5) Grandfather’s home in 1753.
I love your videos! you two really complement each other and you both have convinced my husband and I to travel to Nova Scotia. And the food finds are great. thank you!
Lunenberg is such a cute fishing town. Everything is so picturesque. The sunset at the end was stunning. The maple rum sounded so delicious, I would love to try that out.
Great video with great editing I must say. What a beautiful place, so many photo ops and the food!!! The Mexican hubs was so excited to see Jarritos on the table Audrey. I would definetly give that one a 10!!!
Just wanted to thank you for your video and for all of your recommendations. My husband and I just returned from our first visit to Lunenburg…luckily we watched your video before we left and tried all of your suggestions and it did not disappoint. As a matter of fact, we’re going back again next month! Lol! Thanks so much. ❤️
What an awesome video guys, everything was amazing, the houses, the restaurants, the views, the people, everything. Thanks for this fantastic video, one of my top 5 guys. Keep the great work. You'll got my support and my likes. Gracias por tan hermosa aventura, la disfrute como ninguna, me encantó el lugar y gracias por llevarnos con ustedes. Fantástico amigos. Adelante siempre.
Travelled up there from Florida 2 years ago, couldn't wait to see Blue Nose , only to get there and find out she was on the great lakes , it was truly dissapointing , however over all, had a great time in the region , can't wait to go again .
Perfect timing guys! Our trip to Lunenburg this weekend had to be cancelled because of a Covid lockdown. 😔 So we were super happy to see a Sam and Audrey tour pop up today! 😌🙌 Great vid! 👍
Canada's on my bucket list and now I have to add this to it! I vlog about Sth korea..you guys are an inspiration to me! I miss bread here so that brisket sandwich nearly killed me!! So jealous!!
What a beautiful place this is love to visit one day.........Sam and Audrey do you have any other cities in the Maritimes to do travel guides they are excellent how you present the cities
Oh thanks again for another beautiful and inspiring video. Nova Scotia now is really on my top list of travel destinations. Funny thing: One of my grand-uncles (is this the correct term? brother of my grandfather) was Professor of Metallurgical Engineering at the Nova Scotia Technical College of Halifax after he and his wife emigrated from Latvia to Germany at the start of WW2 and then from Germany to Canada in the 50s. Later in the 70s they came back to Germany. As a child, Halifax (or Canada in general) to me was always "somewhere over the rainbow" 😀
You guys are doing a really excellent job Vlogging your Nova Scotia tour. I'll definitely check out some of your other places when I get the time. One thing you didn't mention is that the entire town of Lunenburg is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site. My last last meal in Lunenburg was a pizza at the Salt Shaker Deli as well--so yummy. Sometimes the boat tours offer a puffin tour to Pearl Island. It's about an hour out, half hour or so there and hour back but it is worth it for the birds. Lots Atlantic Puffins, Razorbills, Kittiwakes etc. The puffins are so colorful, like Lunenburg. Looking forward to more of your Vlogs.
Thank you very much! Great point about it being a UNESCO Heritage town. Oh, going on a puffin tour sounds incredible. I've always wanted to see them up close. Next up is Mahone Bay!
14:50 So is maple walnut one of Samuel's NEW favorite flavors of ice cream? It came to my attention, in previous videos, that he really liked dulce de leche, which made ME want to try it.
Qué arquitectura tan colorida! qué lugar tan pintoresco. Y, como dice Audrey para sacar fotos espectaculares, casi como las de los paisajes de los rompecabezas (puzzles, creo que se escribe así en ingles.. 🤷🏻♀️). Otro hermoso video...
I am beginning to think a trip through Canada is needed. I would love to see Newfoundland. Growing up in Michigan I have been to Ottawa and Quebec seral times my family did week end trips. Living in South ga now that will take more than a weekend. As usually you did a great tour!!!
FUN FACT: In the town of Lunenburg that where they film half of Syfy Channel Hit Series Stephen King's Haven was filmed. I truly loved seeing the iconic Town Hall but in the show it was a police station!!!
@@samuelandaudrey Yes filming mainly takes place in Lunenburg and other cities like Halifax and Mahone Bay in certain areas. You definitely should check out the show its truly amazin and one of the best. Plus you get to see these amazing small town at it finest 😀👍🏾!!!

Great video and a great place to visit! Def on my canadian "to visit" list. Would you suggest fly or drive from Toronto? And where did you self isolate for 14 days?
Thanks Peter! Both are good options as you could make a stop in Quebec or New Brunswick along the way if you drive but a short flight would get you there faster. We had done a quarantine in New Brunswick prior to the trip.
Such a lovely place. Why would any Canadian even visit other countries before visiting each province? You have great places all around. Cheers! Love Canada and hope to visit some day before I die.
This was a few years back, so I don't remember which tour operator we went with. We just walked down to the waterfront and asked which boat was leaving next. Paid on the spot and got on!
BUOY = BOY or BU-OI or BOO-EE? Let's settle this debate! 🤪💦
Boo-ee. East Coast pronunciation 👍🏻
Boo-ee. From New Joisee.
BOY..........as in buoyancy or buoyant, which is where it comes from........jeez!
BU-OI
@@blankchannel1881 so, pronounced "bu-oi-ant" for "buoyant" or "buoyancy"? Just interested to check the different dialects....
