www.DrumsTheWord.com .Rob i think you try "Jeremy" or "Why go".But i feel Jeremy would be a good option for a pearl jam because there quite a few drummers out there who haven't got it right. Also PS also try another Van Halen song Rob
Thanks Rob. I love all of your lessons. I know you’ve done a few U2 songs but I find that they’re fantastic for helping with rudiments. Wondering if you could do where the streets have no name :-)
Captain, Dave Matthews Band. Chancing this one last time but honestly their drum parts can be so complex that anything of your choice by Carter will make my day. Free or not😉
You need to keep trying as I also want to do a DMB song. It it doesn't get selected this time then type again next free lesson...or not. It's up to you :)
@@DrumsTheWord I very likely am about to stalk your channel...as I've been teaching myself to play the last few months and am loving it... very therapeutic dem drums are!
When I listen to the original, I'm sure I'm hearing a snare every 4th hihat in the intro and verse, but you have it all over the place. Did you come to this from just your own ears, or off another chart? When I view a few covers, I see what I'm hearing, confirmed. Below for example... ua-cam.com/video/AV1mu0rsHxc/v-deo.html Here's a better chart, I think... www.drumsandco.com/Partitions/pearl_jam_alive.pdf
You probs are aware of this by now but here goes......The voiceover and cymbals are waaaaaaaay to loud. It's hard to follow as I can't hear the kick or toms dude. I should imagine lots of peeps will listen on crappy laptop speakers which have no bottom end.....
You can check out other Pearl Jam video drum lessons here if you like... ua-cam.com/video/Yi-PxnUinEc/v-deo.html

Sorry about that. But then I'm not looking to create a symphony of sound. Hopefully the teaching comes through?
