My Filipina is so independent. Filipinas still wanted their shining armour to protect them, loved and cared for, they get jealous because the trust is not being built yet but she loved unconditionally. They’re so dedicated to take care of their man even they’re busy with work and taking care of children. Been married of 29 years now and it’s not easy, we still have up’s and downs but for better or for worse, they’re the best.

I was absolutely 100% correct to make a comment of her jealous nature when I saw her telling the staff that they were going to have a meeting at the bar while the 2 female staff were chatting away during the live vlog. As a Filipina, I noticed her insecurity and jealousy. Understandably, she feels insecure because Michael is very friendly and confident of himself and obviously very attractive man. There are a lot of Filipino women who are very attractive, educated, confident and financially self-sufficient. Michael is very intelligent and very much aware of other opportunities available to be with another Filipino woman if he wishes. Kat has to learn to be more confident and less jealous no matter how difficult it is, because jealousy can destroy any relationship if it becomes too restrictive and restraining. She has to realize that a man will cheat regardless of the partner’s physical beauty, intelligence and other positive abilities. It will happen if the man wishes or intends to. Just enjoy the relationship and go with the flow. Michael is very positive and focuses on reaching goals and dreams, just continue to be supportive, loving and helpful in every way. Learn to deal with your own insecurity and jealous nature. “Tampo” is our Filipino nature, but it can destroy a relationship. I think interracial relationships are better, because my last partner was ukrainian and our only arguments is she doesn’t want me to do house chores, and she hates it when it is super hot in house. The only reason why we are no longer together is she passed away from her illness, she had Parkinson and it was super aggressive, if the 5 years that we shared together i have seen her struggle worsen every month. Then she passed away last December and we never got a chance to move her to Texas were i am at now.

But in all honesty, what you said is correct about 2 people in the qest having a power struggle. That was my last relationship, 2 people who had good jobs, we could never come to an agreement on properties and the like. I would come home after 2 days driving and the dishes are still in the sink
It's very rewarding to have someone at home you can rely on without worrying. Plus shes helping you out with your business. Which is huge. That tampo stuff would be a deal breaker. Wouldn't put up with it for a second.

Doing household chores is a 24 hour job. No need to find work outside if your man will also look after you. . And wives working full time at home is not a maid , a servant or a slave .
Working as a housewife is a noble job ,and husbands should be proud of them !!! So take good care of them well or they will resign and look for another caring master !! Know what I mean ? By the way, I am a happy housewife, working at home and my husband works outside .

Someone in the livestream chat/comment section was calling stay at home moms, or homemakers (don’t have to be child rearing imo) “counter wipers” & I just shook my head internally. Homemaking, or as another commenter here said “being a helpmate” is an art & a skill, MANY skills. & it is a vocation that is truly noble, especially as it is often undervalued & even ridiculed. Not that every woman can or should seek it out as their vocation. Many women don’t want to be home with their children or husband full time. They luv their careers or enjoy it or need the extra income. Some men wanna stay home, etc. I dislike the bad-good division of stay at home v working moms. It is not zero sum.

Going on 11 years married to my filipino. I support her in whatever she wanted to do. She said it was a dream of hers to join the Navy. I totally supported her in that. Told her if that's what she wanted go for it. She's been in two years now. Happy as we can be. Only she's in Yokosuka Japan and we're, I and our 9 yr old son here in Michigan. We're it gets real cold and snows lol. Hopefully going there to Japan to live shortly with her on base. Love you two great couple.

Thanks for sharing your story with us. I'm also in a LDR with my Filipina and we're working on getting her Fiancée Visa right now. I'm also quite familiar with the tampo and jealousy. I'm a car guy and mine has actually displayed jealousy towards my car at one point. We had to discuss that to clear things up. But above all else, do not take her for granted, please be patient with her and don't forget that English is her second language. Oh yah, always be respectful to her. There's nothing more annoying to me than a guy who treats his significant other as a subservient just because she gives everything with her heart. Special shout out to Kat for doing this video. I especially second your advice to Miss Catherine to never change in any manner except perhaps change due to natural growth of living long life, or changes which are solely her conscious decisions to move in another direction. For example, if she wants to take a managerial study course. Just an example, she doesn’t need that as she is learning by experience & from excellent mentors like Bitoy’s owner. But imo she doesn’t havta become comfortable with speaking or being on camera, if that isn’t a goal for her. Yes her sig other is a vlogger, but she supports him in many other ways , as he has repeatedly stated. Cat doesn’t have to be heavily featured on camera. (Although as a viewer I do enjoy seeing she & L. with Michael. But to my thinking, if camera time is not her cup of tea, I get it & the channel will still survive & thrive I’m sure. Even brief Catherine cameos will always be enjoyable to view). I know many think differently, they’d like to see Cat thrive & take to being on camera & voicing her perspectives. But some peeps thrive under the shade trees, y’kno violets not sunflowers…the variety makes a gorgeous garden

It's basically like Florida in August here for about 3 months.about 105F. After that is rainy season that gets humid for a couple weeks but still about the same until it breaks then it's maybe in the 80s during the day and many nights down to 68-72. November to April is the top months sitting at 65 to 75 pretty steady.
It's the humid late April to June people hate the most to be honest. Of course the mountains are much cooler where some days can be 65 in the hottest time of the year and very rarely 75 as a high for a few hours maybe

It’s sad that her perspective in life changed and went home but I’m amazed that you have created a plan B of your life in the Philippines. You even found a good Filipina woman for a partner. Love and respect her. Don’t be like those other white men who look down on their Filipina partners and treat them like a shock absorber of the frustrations they brought from their home land. Filipinas were brought up with some unique mind set and wherever you go around the Philippines we all think the same when it comes to taking care of our homes. We’re impeccable! Yeah our old one we keep in garage now, was a high end model years ago, mostly zaps moths & occasional flies. Never mosquitos….But the newer models have emissions that attract mosquitos particularly, I think something like that. More effective.

I was married to a Venzuelan and the jealousy was the same, also because of the men from there. I can look back now and admit that I handled it wrong because I didn't understand that it was just because she really cared. I took it as wanting to be controlling and I slowly shut her out. I wish I would have understood sooner. I great that you get it so that you don't let it ruin your relationship. That being said, she also needs to understand that if you look in a certain direction and there happens to be a nice looking woman there, that you are looking just the same as you would if there was anything else in the direction you are looking. You can't be punished for having eyes to see with.

Compared to western girls. after a divorce dating silicon vally the girls wantd me to help them out they stated this on the 1st meeting??? It was nuts they wanted thousands every month. I heard that if you get married in a catholic church, you can not get a divorce. Anyways one of my friends got married in a catholic church and he couldn't get a divorce here in America unless he files for an annulment from the catholic church that married them.
Catholics get divorced everyday.....millions of them. There are only two countries in the world that do not grant divorces....Vatican City and the Philippines. The city you are living in will grant you a divorce. However, if you are a Catholic that is divorced you are unable to get married again in the Catholic Church...but you can get married in any other church or a civil ceremony at City Hall.
I know many filipina that are like that in the USA. Become very spoiled. Want all the expensive bags and cars and house, etc. And pay for their family.
Didn't hear a filipina said that the husbands bought this luxury stuff for them. Very rare maybe. I think that's filipina hard earned money just to splurged themselves.
