- Processional by Linda Wood comes from Harp Solos: Graded Recital Pieces, Vol. 2. It is playable on a pedal harp and is written around an early intermediate level. Throughout the piece a fanfare returns between sections and the theme moves through several different treatments, including rolled chords, arpeggios and octaves with accompanying glissandos.

Loved this thankyou. Always a favourite of mine. It was my second piece I ever learnt as an adult student and I always enjoy the variety of chords, glissandos and arpeggios.
Yes, this pieces has a great variety of techniques! So glad it's a favorite of yours and thanks for watching.
Beautifully played!
Thanks so much!
Makes me want to get to the point of being able to play this. I've been working on the different effects in other songs, but I like how this one puts them all together!
Yes, putting everything together in this piece is a lot of fun!
I’m currently learning this. Section C is killer on your fingers 😆
All those glisses can definitely be hard on the fingers! I hope it's going well.
Aww, Jacqueline! I’m having a wonderful time going through your Young Harpist videos! This is so pretty!!! You play it with such elegance! 🎶💕 Thank you so much! 🤗
My pleasure and thank you for watching!
Thank you for posting “Processional.” You play it so beautifully. I refer to your video daily as I learn this piece.
Thank you! I am so touched, and I hope you practice is going well!
Your Inspirational videos have great information. And by watching I have learned the harp is an instrument I want very much to pursue. I can afford a Sharpsicle harp and will give it my best try. Beautiful, interesting music. Thank you so much!!
I'm so excited to hear about you beginning to play the harp, and I'm really touched that I've been part of the decision. Good luck to you in your playing!
Beautiful - Thank you for sharing.
My pleasure!
Learning this piece right now :) Might use it for my music school entry exam. Thank you! It's always good to compare and see what to still work on.
That's great! I hope the piece is going well for you!
Nice!
Thanks!
I was really nervous about playing this for my finals, which are in a month. You make it seem so easy (even though it's not). This really inspired me! Definitely subscribing after this hehe
I'm glad you're finding the video inspiring, and good luck with your finals! Thanks for subscribing.
I love your videos for students. This one was excellent and clean. I only wish you would follow the fingering on line 1 that Linda Wood wrote with the student crossing over the LH for the top note. That's the way I have my students play it. Thanks for inspiring the students to play clean and beautiful.
Thanks so much for watching and I'm glad you're finding the videos useful! I actually do not follow the fingering suggestion provided by Linda Wood, on line 1 with my students, but instead have them play it the way I do here. But I think both ways work well!
