I guess it is the price the market is willing to pay for the entitlement. If it is at a premium to what you calculate as RE price you get some profit. If it is lower, you will only lose and it's better to get share in hand. Anyway all this is relevant if you don't want the stock
Guys need ur suggestions and correct me if necessary Today i received Franklin industries RE shares Cmp - 7.5 Shares - 1090 RE shares received - 3270(1:3 ratio) Issue price - 3.58 So by calculation RASP vll be 3270x3.58 + 1090x7.5 / 3270+1090 = 4.6 So value of 1RE should be 4.6-3.58 = 1 approx And today value of 1RE share is 2.15 So i should sell right?

As someone else has posted, we are going for 'rights buy' only if we are interested in a fundamentally sound stock with future prospects bright, available to the share holder at a good discount. first of all, this is the most effective video i found when comes to the right issue. I have few doubt can some help pls ? i hold 810 stocks of indiabulls, now one 8th i applied for RE stockers i.e. 410 where my 15k amount was deducted. now on 11th i blocked my 20K for 410 right issue via my icici net banking app. now i have two questions 1. What about the token value(15K), will it count when i will receive the stocks 2. Is am going in the correct direction or i missed something ?

I guess the value of the stock is lowered to 204 from 210 in the same the price is lowered after paying a dividend or after a stock split. I am not sure of it, but I feel this is what that happens.

One question I am not getting an answer for, is that if a rights entitled person (who applied and bought RE shares) sells them, who buys them and why. If somebody buys these RE shares, it must be for some profit speculation. So it will be better to hold these shares.
