I think you need to understand Ranade mam that when you repeatedly say Reliance to become "debt-free by 2021" it sounds as if they will become zero debt. In reality, the company through all these measures intends to become "net debt-free", meaning their 3.5 lakh crore debt will reduce to their cash level whatever it is in 2021. So if they have cash and equivalents of 1.5 lakh crore, then their debt will come down to that level and not become zero as you might be suggesting. They intend to remain a net debt free company and not debt free company.
I have serious doubt about reliance as a company now. Their performance is quite doubtable since oil price is down for some time now. All of you guys invest only if you are so sure. Past five year performance was not good. Even i doubt there is a manipulation in stock price just before the right issue came up.
@@sujithkvarghese5616 Yes, seems like a possibility. In fact, since the oil prices haven't been doing very well in the past few years that is why Reliance is looking to grow its retail and telecom business. So, that it could diversify against the declining oil prices.

Airtel is live example of this situation. Before ex rights date(27 sep) it closed at 740. In just two days, it has come to 695. Because of adjusted share price situation, people sold in panic. The rights price will be 535, and ratio 1:14 But till 5 Oct, I guess more or less the price will come to about 650. Better to sell shares directly before ex rights date than applying for rights....

No of shares will increase in market, simply. If there are 100 shares in market and after 1:1 issue it will be 200 in market.

Record date are announced on sebi website and by the company on their website as well.
Company will notify the date under LODR on the stock exchange platform like BSE and NSE
