- "Übergebt die Junta dem Volk!" - Das war nicht nur die Forderung der 50.000 Teilnehmer des ersten öffentlichen Konzerts von Mikis Theodorakis nach der Verjagung der Obristen. Die Begeisterung des Publikums und die Kurzinterviews zeigen seine Handlungsbereitschaft und sein hohes politisches Bewußtsein. Die Junta wurde natürlich nicht dem Volk übergeben, auch die politische Macht nicht. Übergeben wurde und wird ihm allerdings die durch griechische und internationale Profiteure Dank des bestehenden Gesellschaftssystems erzeugte Schuldenlast.

Es ist ein großer Verlust der Tod von dem Großen Griechen, er hat damals schon den Mut gehabt in der Politik auch den Mund auf zu machen, und er hat auch mit seinen Kämpferischen Liedern den Menschen den Mut gegeben sich dem zu widersetzen , unter anderem durch seine Lieder ist die Diktatur verschwunden und die Menschen konnten nach der sieben Jahre Diktatur endlich nach und nach frei leben! ❤

Grande Mikis Teodorakis
Tη συναυλία άνοιξε ο αλεξανδρακης που έκανε και την παρουσίαση των καλλιτεχνων.
10 και 11 οκτ του 1974. Οι δύο συναυλίες προγραμματιζονταν από τον Αύγουστο του 1974 και για διάφορους λόγους αναβαλονταν...διαρκώς. Τα εισητηρια οστοσο είχαν κλειστει και είχαν ξεπεράσει το αρχικό. Στις 2 τελευταίες πρόβες στο ζουμ η είσοδος ήταν ελευθερη.
Ανοίγει η συναυλία και μπαίνει ο Μίκης
Ένα το χελιδονι, της δικαιωσυνης ηλιε νοητε, της αγάπης αίματα με τον Αντώνη καλογιαννη...
Η Μαρία Φαραντουρη ντουέτο με το Γιώργο Θεοδωράκη τραγουδούν τον Χάρη, αμέσως μετά ''στο στήθος μου η πληγη ανοίγει παλι'' και όλα σταματούν. Το καλοδιο είναι είναι κομενο με μαχαίρι, όλα τα είχαμε προβλέψει εκτός από το μαχαίρι λέει ο Μίκης. Ας τραγουδησουμε μαζί! Πότε θα κάνει ξαστερια, ωροπος, όταν χτυπήσεις δύο φορές, είμαστε δύο, μακριά πολύ μακριά, μιλώ, ο χρόνος παραμορφωθηκε...κάποια απ αυτά ήταν ακόμα άγνωστα στο ελληνικό κοινό και τη φωνή του συνθέτη συνοδευαν συνθήματα και δυνατά παλαμακια, σα να ήξερε όλος ο κόσμος το ρυθμό από πριν.
Μετά ο Μανώλης μητσιας ακολουθεί με τον επιταφιο, η φαραντουρη με το Νταλάρα στα λιανοτραγουδα, τα τραγούδια του Ανδρέα, και ο Πέτρος πανδης πάλι με τη φαραντουρη στα 2 τραγούδια από το Canto general. Το μιλώ έγινε ύμνος και σηκωθηκαν γροθιες. Ο συνθέτης συνέχισε χωρίς όργανα και μόνο με συνοδεία τα παλαμακια ''ΧΤΥΠΑ ΧΤΥΠΑ το στήθος π ανάβει ''
Στο χώρο μεγάλοι δημιουργοί όπως ο Ρίτσος ο Κατρακης...

R.I.P. Greek giant Mikis Theodorakis, your songs and your music and your fights for freedom and democracy made you IMMORTAL! Gongrats for the video document, but Karaiskakis Stadium is not in Athens, it is still home of Olympiacos of Piraeus, the favourite football club of Mikis Theodorakis!

One can see why the junta was so afraid of Mikis' music. They knew very well that one day it will push them out of power. So they tried to suppress it by any means.

A little ironic that this is a German film considering the Axis forces were the first army Theodorakis fought at the age of 17. It should really be in Greek.

Οι άνθρωποι τότε,αν κρίνω απ' τις 3-4 συνεντεύξεις που έδωσαν αντίστοιχοι απλοί ανθρωποι εδώ στο βίντεο,ήταν πιο φωτεινοί,πιο στιβαροί,πιο στέρεοι απ' τους σημερινούς "πλαστικους" - στην πλειοψηφία τους - ανθρώπους....
