so many things wrong about what you are doing but that's no what I want to talk about and the only resin I am commenting about. I Am leaving a comment for the fact you sed something that is not true and it upsets me for the fact a lot of people do not understand this use the wrong turms and do not learn inless tho take a few classes. not I no it somewhat depends on what metal you use . but what you did was not brazing it was soldering brazing with metals such as silver gold led aluminum and many others is when you heat a item up hold the soldering aka brazing rod on the hot peace while stilling hitting it with the torch. when you cut solder off and set it in place this is soldering when you use a soldering iron instead of a torch its soldering and buy all rights when you do not use a soldering gun and cut a chunk off like you did its called diredt heat flowing or flam flowing
You seem like you have some knowledge in the field of welding. How ever I would disagree with you. There is a difference between the terms soldering and brazing. Both use a dissimilar metal to join parts and of course heat no mater how you add the filler material. The only difference between the terms soldering and brazing is the temperature. Soldering is temperatures below 450 degrees centigrade, and term brazing is above above 450. Silver soldering is Ok for jewelry but not for joining bandsaw blades. I thought I made that clear on the video. If you don't believe me you can goggle it.
Holy cow, that's a big flame.
The self contained torch with the higher heat range you are referring to, is MAP gas.
I just broke 2 blades. Now I can fix 'em. Thanks!
Wow that’s one heck of a shop! Lol nice set up!
NICE JIG WILL HAVE TO MAKE ONE
