I just joined Beauty Pie. I bought every eye shadow they have. Now you have me interested in the skin care. After I use up my other products I’ll start with Beauty Pie!
I've really fallen hard for a lots of beauty pie skincare. I realized that my skin care shelf is slowly filling up with beauty pie, and I'm not repurchasing other brands like I used to. There are a few holy grail products that I still get from other brands, but most of my daily stuff is all beauty pie. It's great quality, and so affordable. That's why I love it. I also like the aesthetic look the products have.
This is a super helpful video. I’ve been a BP member for years and love their skincare. You have tried a few more skincare items than I have and I appreciate your description and thoughts.
I'm so glad it's been helpful. I've tried a lot more than what I've mentioned here, but these are the ones that were most notable to me. I could do another beauty pie review video of all the other products I didn't mention here if you're interested. Let me know. Thanks so much for watching today, and have a lovely weekend.
@@thelipstickgal I would love another video. I didn't mention that I have a lot of the same loves as you do, and I appreciate hearing your thoughts on some of their other moisturizers. I've also been meaning to try the Hyleraunic Acid for the under eyes. I will say that one of my new favorite cleansers besides Japanfusion is the new Super Healthy Clean Foam cleanser. It's a great morning cleanser or as a second cleanser at night.
@@Martha_FragranceCorner I think that's the cleanser that I have ordered in the box that should be arriving sometime this week or next. I have a cleansing balm that I have yet to dip into, and a super retinol vitamin c serum that I have yet to try. There's so much good stuff from beauty pie, but they're always changing what they have on their website. I feel like I can continue to try new stuff with every order I place, and never get to their entire stock.🤯
Stupendous video! I gifted myself a Beauty Pie membership for Christmas last year and I’m still getting to know the ins and outs as well as what products are super performers as opposed to others. So this video detailing your thoughts and experience with various products is invaluable to me! Also your list in the description box is so much appreciated. New subscriber and ride or die status right here!!
Thank you so much for watching today. I appreciate your support so much. I'm trying to make sure that I bring value in every video, and if I can't bring value, I hope I bring a little bit of entertainment. 😉 I try and provide the detailed sort of information I would want if I was looking at the purchasing the product for the first time myself. I'm glad you're finding it helpful. I think a beauty pie membership for Christmas is a wonderful gift to yourself. I'd love to know what your favorite products are so far, and what you would recommend to a friend.
Loccitane shower oil is amazing and almost completely emulsifies and rinses off and the scent is killer but I do use a shower gel first to get the dirt etc off. Makes an amazing oil to shave with. The only catch is it is pricey. Thank you for your reviews. I LOVE beauty pie
I love that shower oil from l'Occitane. I've used it in the past, but haven't let myself repurchase the refill. 😥 I'll takea look for the flamingo product you suggested. Thanks for watching.
Good video. I am a BP member but have not tried most of the items you reviewed. I will now look at those items more closely. I love BP. I love the everyday concealer and the brushes are fabulous. Love, love, love the Superactive capsules.i also put on chest and it is delicious. Super Retinol anti-aging face serum is great. I am just starting to use the vitamins and hair care. Love BP
Looks like we've tried a lot of different products. That's what I love about beauty pie, there's so much to choose from. I've got another beauty pie video coming soon, and I talk about the super retinol products. The hand cream has been a staple since my first box, and I like the ceramide boosting serum, and the super active one you use for a month at a time. I'm forgetting the exact name. I've had good results with their super retinol line. The only one that didn't work for me was the eye cream. I think I mentioned that in this video. I also recently picked up their new concealer, and I've been using it all month long. I'm surprised at how good it is. Going to keep trying new stuff as I go along, and leave my thoughts on them here. Thank you so much for watching, and have an amazing weekend.
I am a Beautypie member, great vid. Thank you I love the Amazing Sleep oil. I do love the lifting serum.. amazing. You’re right about all their tub moisturizers.. all good, but the plantastic one is amazing. I like the cleansing balm, not the hot oil one. The color corrector acts like an under eye concealer primer. I’m older than you and need a supple look under the eyes. I enjoy the retinol line. Their lip products, eye shadows, blushes aren’t cool tone enough for me. I do have their powder blush in Bad Girl which I quite like. Their candles are yummy..
I haven't tried any of the candles yet. I'm hard pressed to try non makeup and skin care products. I've really fallen in love with the sleep oil. My skin feels so supple after applying it. I look forward to it every night. I like that all of the moisturizers that come in jars are good, but the plantastics one is the one that helps me survive winter. I can't do winter without it. I hope they never stop making it, because if they do I don't know what I'll do with myself. I love the super luminous under eye genius. Such a good product, it's the first corrector I've ever used that makes a difference, is the right shade, and doesn't make my under eye look worse. I've tried so many, and I don't want to try anything else because this one works so well. Haven't really fallen in love with any of their eyeshadows yet. They're okay, but they're not exactly what I'm looking for. I feel like beauty pie does neutral / natural looking makeup really well. They're not the first brand I think of for cutting edge, exciting makeup. If you want to look like yourself but in color: beauty pie's for you.
Hi Hun, Your videos came up in my feed and I’m so glad it did. I’m really enjoying you channel and look forward to your upcoming upcoming videos. Big hugs..Bella 😘
Thank you so much! I'm glad my video came up as a suggestion. I really had fun recording this one, and will do more beauty pie content in the future. Thanks for watching, and have a fantastic rest of your week.
Thank you for the wonderful descriptions of these products. Very helpful because there are so many Beauty Pie products (which is certainly not a bad thing, but can be overwhelming for us new Beauty Pie members).
I definitely felt overwhelmed when I first started making purchases in 2020. At times I felt paralyzed by indecision. Since then, I've embraced trying new things in every order, and seeing how I like them. I don't know if I mentioned this clearly in the video, but I don't think there have been any products in the skincare line that have been bad. Just not well suited to my skin type. Or I didn't see dramatic results from. The ones I mentioned here I've seen dramatic results from, and are well suited to my skin type. When it comes to makeup though, I feel like the ones that I mentioned negatively here are my "bad" products. I feel like skincare is more subjective. Maybe I'm more comfortable making a strong judgment call with makeup. 🤷🏻♀️
This is so helpful, thanks! I’ve been struggling with BP skincare, mainly bc of the strong fragrance in almost everything I’ve tried. It doesn’t bother my skin, but I just find it very unpleasant. I’ll try the plantastic balm, since that cleansing balm is one of the few things I like the smell of (I recommend that cleanser, by the way). I also love the vitamin c and collagen ampules, as well as the moisturizing shampoo & conditioner. And the eyeshadow sticks, which are dupes for caviar sticks, are great. The candles are a hard pass for me-they smell like old-lady perfume and give my whole family headaches.
I try not to buy candles I can't smell in person. I'm usually not sensitive to fragrance, but there are a few that just bring on the worst headaches. I'm sorry that you haven't had a good experience with beauty pie skin care. I know that a lot of their skin care is fragranced, and I wish it wasn't. I sometimes wonder if brands put fragrance in to counteract the scent of the ingredients themselves. I don't know enough about the skincare industry to really know what's going on. Like I mentioned before, I'm not terribly sensitive to scents, But I try and make note of skincare items that are scented because so many people have more sensitive skin than I do. I haven't tried any of their shampoo or conditioner yet, but I'm going to start reading ingredients. I need to stay away from sulfates, and silicones to maintain happy curls. I find that really reduces the types of products I can use. I do love the eyeshadow stick, I think it's beautiful. If I used it more frequently, I think there's a good chance it would have shown up in this video. I have the shade wild violet and forget how beautiful it is as a single shadow look. OI've tried the vitamin c ampules before, but haven't tried any of the rest. I think it does a really great job, I just hate cracking open a new capsule every time. I know it's a stupid thing, but I almost put it in this video as something that bothers me. I think the formula is great, I love how fresh those capsules keep the product, but having to crack open a new one each day is my least favorite thing. It almost seems like a task. 😬🤷🏻♀️ Thanks so much for watching, and taking the time to tell me what your favorite beauty pie products are. Have a great rest of your weekend.
Thank you so much for watching today. I've been using beauty pie regularly for the past year and a half, and thought it was time to talk about what I continually repurchase, and what didn't work for me. Let me be clear, there really aren't any bad skin care products here. Just ones that didn't work for my skin type. I feel like there are a few more clear misses in the makeup department. Maybe that's because I know more about makeup than skincare. 🤷🏻♀️ Ever since the ordinary hit the scene, I've been trying brands that don't charge high prices but still deliver on quality skincare. I feel like the inky list, good molecules, and beauty pie are some of those brands. Out of all of the less expensive brands I've tried, I feel like beauty pie has the cosmetically elegantly formulated products in beautiful packaging. Simple, but perfect. I hope that you will enjoy beauty pie as much as I have. I find over the past year and a half, more and more of my daily skincare shelf is filled with beauty pie products. Thank you so much for watching today, and for subscribing. I appreciate it. 😉
I wouldn’t have thought about it, but tried the Clean candle and received so many positive statements… husband and friend who was visiting, that I bought 6 more. Sorry realized I didn’t say, since you are going to be new to BP, thought I’d share in hopes of being helpful :-)
I'm glad you found it helpful. It was my pleasure. There have been very few skincare products that I haven't liked. Just ones that I prefer over others. I feel like I'm a little more choosy with the makeup and the body care. Overall, I would definitely say a beauty pie membership is worth it.
I am almost 100% in agreement with you! Currently using all the items you picked as well. One of my misses was the Japanfusion cleanser which Marcia raves about. It was OK, but I much prefer the Jeju or the plantastic. What do you think?
I only just started using cleansers. I'm loving the super healthy skin gentle filming face wash. That's what I'm using at the moment. I'm not a big fan of the plantastics face balm. I wish it actually would fully emulsify and wash off. I'm always left with a little residue that only comes off with a face cloth. I had so many non-beauty pie face washes that in my stash thatI had to work through all of them before I could start trying anything new. I haven't tried much from the Jeju line yet. I am enjoying the Jeju Daily facial mist.
You showed the box of Nerds & I immediately subbed you. You could be talking about how to wash porcupines & I would sub. Nerds are my fav too. And I am over 40. Although, if you decide to wash porcupines, I’d watch too.
🤣🤣🤣 that's the best comment ever! Not the part where you subbed (but thanks) rather the washing porcupines and loving Nerds. As a child who grew up in the 80s, I remember when Nerds debuted. I think I was in 2nd or 3rd grade. I walked to school with my brother every morning, and I stopped to buy candy at the Quick Mart every day. I always got candy that was easy to share with my friends. Nerds were the best because you got two flavors and a million little pieces! They've been a fond childhood memory for years, and I still buy bags of the little boxes at Easter and Halloween just for myself. Thankfully I've raised my kids right because they love them too. 🤭 Thanks so much for making my day with your awesome comment. I literally laughed out loud. 🤣
I hope you like the products that you ordered. I've been ordering since summer of 2020, and there are very few things that I've tried that I don't like. Most work, but aren't worth the repurchase for me, but there are so many that I truly love. I have more misses in makeup then I do in skincare from beauty pie. I also feel like skin care is more subjective because it depends on your skin type, skin goals, and overall needs.
Love how you described all these products, I made a shopping cart and took a picture of it so when I finish most of my skincare and backups I can join and get them.🥰. Have you tried any of their haircare line?
I'm glad my descriptions are helpful. I haven't tried any of their hair care line because I find most hair care isn't "curly girl" friendly. "Curly girl" products need to be silicone, & sulfate free. I just assume that most conditioners and shampoos have silicones and sulfates. I haven't checked the ingredient deck on any of the hair care products from beauty pie, but maybe it's time. Thanks so much for watching today, and have a fantastic weekend!
The concealer in the pan was from several years ago, and they don't make it anymore. I haven't tried the new concealer they released last year, but I feel like I'm happy with what I have from Beauty Pie right now. Thanks for watching.
Thanks! I've been using a eyelash serum I found in Amazon. It's by Vie Beautie. It comes in a metallic pink and purple tube. I don't use it on my eyelashes because it caused itching, and irritated my lash line. It did work, but I'm just using it on my eyebrows these days. It's really helped fill them in, and I get a much bushier look from my brows. This $25 serum lasts for 3 months. I was using it nightly on my lashes and brows when I initially purchased it, but now I use it three times a week. I think if I were to remember to use it daily, I'd probably go through it quicker. I went through about a tube every 6 weeks when I first started using it on my lashes and my eyebrows. I kind of think of it as maintenance for the brow hairs that I have. I think if I were to use it nightly, I would definitely get some of those sparser areas to fill in. I'm just being lazy these days. I think any lash serum would work on your eyebrows, but you may want to do some research on that. Thanks so much for watching today.
Hi there. Can you tell me the name of the cream you are talking about just after the 8 min mark that you said you went through 3 jars? I don't hear the name of the product mentioned. Thx!
I did mention it. 😉 It's the Uber Youth Super Infusion Eye Cream. It's the only potted jar of eye cream beauty pie makes at the moment. (it's the small jar I'm holding up) I really like how hydrating, but non greasy it is. It's lightweight on the under eyes, and sits at well under makeup. Thanks for watching, and I'm always happy to answer questions for you.
@@thelipstickgal thank you SOOO MUCH for answering me. 😁 I must have missed it while multitasking doing dishes. (Ohhh the life of a single, f/t mom. 😉😆) I am going to join & make my first order soon ~ the very, next time I need any skincare & I'll also try out AT LEAST a few makeup products (although knowing me, my "few" probably is going to end up being much more than "a few" in other ppl's opinions. 😆) Have you made any other videos using/mentioing/reviewing their products especially makeup recently? Do you have a few "STAND OUT products"? I'd love to get your opinion. ...I'm 47 with mature skin, normal but sometimes a lil dry or dehydrated from skincare products & weather, some fine lines & wrinkles like areas like crow's feet & a few, deep lines in my forehead that I sometimes get a lil botox for, and my BIGGEST CONCERN is melasma/hyperpigmentation and covering it!! I usually wear medium to full coverage foundations because of it. I've been searching for a good peach, orange colour corrector & skincare products to try to make tge areas fade as much as possible. (Sorry for the novel. 😉)
@@annetteturnbull3717 I'm always glad to answer any questions. Thanks for taking the time to comment again. I totally understand multitasking, so please don't worry about missing the specific name of the eye cream. I'm forever watching a video while I'm getting ready for work, or making dinner. I miss stuff too. :) I have an entire Beauty Pie playlist. ua-cam.com/play/PL8QgRrcOs6hk6MG9ybVKwbKik-DfKwYpn.html There are some makeup reviews in there, but my favorite products are: 1. Super Luminous Under Eye Genius - I use light/medium (it's more pink leaning) 2. One Powder Wonder - Uberlecent Universal - I recently asked a question of BP support since I haven't seen it on the website for the past 6+ months. They're reformulating it / sourcing ingredients from other locations. I just checked the website, and it's back in stock. It's my favorite lightweight powder, and I'm about to hit pan on my current compact. (it looks white in the pan, but is translucent) 3. Super Cheek Cream Blush - Various Shades. (I have French Raspberry and Sexy Berry) It's one of the best cream blush for the price, and lasts all day on me. 4. Uber Volume Boost Velvet Mascara - A beautiful mascara that lasts all day, and doesn't' smudge or flake. 5. Beauty Pie X James Malloy Eyeshadow Palettes. I have the one in Gold, and I use it all the time for easy, minimal looks. It's a workhorse for work appropriate looks. 6. I like the Lip Liners, Matte Lipstick and Future Lipstick, but my favorite Lip Product from BP is the Wonder Gloss Collagen Lip Oil. I have the shades Spicy Pink, Jammy, Shimmy and Sun Hazed. They're my favorite lip formula for summer. So comfortable and glossy! 7. Arch-Ology Tinted Eyebrow Gel - I use Perfect Brown. 8. Everyday Great Skin Concealer - I have shade 50 - Super Light I also like the lip liner, pencil eyeliner and eyeshadow stick. They're great affordable options to other highend formulas. I hope that's helpful. Thanks so much for taking the time to watch today, and comment. Also, take a few minutes for yourself this weekend if you can. As a single mom, I'm sure you're overwhelmed. You deserve it. Even just 5 minutes for a peaceful cup of coffee makes a difference.
@@annetteturnbull3717 BTW, I have been enjoying Agency Skincare's Dark Spot Formula for my hyperpigmentation. I've got a video up on my channel about it if you're interested. It's a hydroquinone cream that's compounded with other ingredients just for you. It's a subscription service and runs about $60 every other month, but it's the only thing that's helped to diminish the hyperpigmentation and melasma I have. I also really like the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Vanish corrector. I use shade 1 and it's more peach toned than the corrector from Beauty Pie. On my fair skin, I need to cover it with concealer or it's too peach under my eyes. The one from BP I can wear alone without concealer over the top. I've found that it's best to use a light hand with both because they're very emollient. Too much, and stuff starts slipping around under my eyes. I meant to address both of these points in my previous reply but forgot. 🤦♀️
Also flamingo has a well priced body cream that is slightly exfoliating and smells great and is only 10 dollars. I do use it for the backs of my arms when I get KP but since I've had the beauty pie body cream that by the way looks like pudding, I just reach for the beauty pie. It is much lighter but seems to hydrate better. Just thought I would give you another option for $10 that maybe might work for you
It's been on my list for a while, but I'm trying to buy less concealer. Maybe I'll allow myself to pick it up if I finish one of the ones I have already. I'm pretty close to finishing up the two-faced multi-use sculpting concealer.
The issues with the products, like the body cream and scrub, are all personal problems. They have nothing to do with how well these work? Never experienced this... Perhaps you have very hard water?
Yes, it's completely a personal preference. I do have hard water, but always struggle to rinse soap and other products off in soft water. I do think that all the BP products are good, but it depends on your personal preference.

This was so helpful! Thank you.
Thanks so much for making my day with your awesome comment. I literally laughed out loud. 🤣
Hi ! this was super helpful . I just became a new memeber about 2 weeks ago . Have a great weekend !
@@thelipstickgal thanks so much enjoy your day 🤗🤗
Love how you described all these products, I made a shopping cart and took a picture of it so when I finish most of my skincare and backups I can join and get them.🥰.
She does a fab job describing!
@@Mhpnvb ooh, thanks. 🤭
@@thelipstickgal No sulphates or silicones in their hair line!
I’ve tried the nourishing shampoo, the moisturizing conditioner, and the repair treatment-and love them all!
The concealer in the tube is very good. Ive never seen the one yoy use so maybe they've removed it. Plantastic cleansing balm is wonderful..
The concealer in the pan was from several years ago, and they don't make it anymore. I haven't tried the new concealer they released last year, but I feel like I'm happy with what I have from Beauty Pie right now. Thanks for watching.
Great review! What’s funny is that body cream sounds exactly what I look for after evening baths as a body sludge :-) (is that the word, re slugging?)
I love the body cream, but won't repurchase the body scrub. I'm on my third tub of the body cream. It's so good.
Yes, slugging.
What do you use on your eyebrows to help them grow out? Your eyebrows are great.
(it's the small jar I'm holding up)
I really like how hydrating, but non greasy it is.
I am going to join & make my first order soon ~ the very, next time I need any skincare & I'll also try out AT LEAST a few makeup products (although knowing me, my "few" probably is going to end up being much more than "a few" in other ppl's opinions. 😆)
Have you made any other videos using/mentioing/reviewing their products especially makeup recently?
I have an entire Beauty Pie playlist.

There are some makeup reviews in there, but my favorite products are:
1. Super Luminous Under Eye Genius - I use light/medium (it's more pink leaning)
2. (it looks white in the pan, but is translucent)
8. Everyday Great Skin Concealer - I have shade 50 - Super Light
I also like the lip liner, pencil eyeliner and eyeshadow stick.
Just thought I would give you another option for $10 that maybe might work for you
Great video! Try the Kosas concealer, it’s great for over 40 dry under eyes.
It's been on my list for a while, but I'm trying to buy less concealer. Maybe I'll allow myself to pick it up if I finish one of the ones I have already. I'm pretty close to finishing up the two-faced multi-use sculpting concealer.
So helpful, thank you!
I'm glad you found it helpful. Thanks so much for watching today.
Happy. Belated Birthday!
Thanks, I had a great day.
