I like that it’s “non toxic” and u can just unwind watching and learning about peppers. I just grew my first ghost pepper this year, finally the first one turning red, my girlfriends brother grew some Carolina reapers. Waiting to get a pod so I can grow some too. Love the channel dude.

I’m new here as of a week ago. Love this pepper community! P.s. I’m an amateur grower of cannabis (5 years now) and just started growing peppers this year. I’m a professional tomato farmer though(over 20 years)👍🏼✌🏻💚 Peace and chicken grease!
Why do cannabis and peppers seem to always go together?
I have a lil story last year my wife and i went to Cancun we booked a tour of the Yucatan pyramids and cenotes (fresh water hole) at the end of the day they prepared cochinita pibil and they had a salsa of Habanero Yucateco ,boy it was the hottest pepper i have ever tasted but it was the most beautiful flavor ever yes it was super hot but very enjoyable ,long story short i just want to say kudos to you and your awesome channel,i will probably not get to your level but im here for the heat journey to see how far i can go 👍
I did Chicken Pizza your as Mayan guide made us laugh. Some college kids on bus handling Habeneros in bowl on table then wiped sweaty forehead dude was crying soon when it dripped in eyes.

I have been watching your videos for quite some time, I was never a subscriber until now! You've always been a very fascinating man, and I love the video you made that explained how peppers/capsaicin actually have positive health benefits, instead of the rumors of them causing ulcers and whatnot.. I praise your work, and always inform people with the truth that you speak! Today I ate my first Carolina Reaper, I love spicy food, I think it's the most delicious recipe's across the world, even though I've only had some mild hit peppers here and there, I figured it was time to give the "worlds hottest" a try, I handled it very well, it was super hot nonetheless, but I kept my composure and enjoyed it as is.. As a U.S Marine I love taking on challenges to toughen my physical/mental strength, you've inspired me in another video when you went into great detail confessing that you struggled with drinking alcohol, but your love for chasing the heat has helped you not only break that bad habit, but also have the chance to travel the world/enjoy life in another perspective.. You're a wise man @JohnnyScoville I think I'll start my journey chasing the heat as well! 😎

But ive recently wanted to try some really hot stuff..brought me to your channel i had heard of pepper x, carolina reaper, habanero, ghost. But your pod talk and all is just really cool to listen to i didnt know these peppers existed and didnt know theres a following for people who thinks of pods this way and you in particular are the best one so far. I'm a new chili head. found your Channel a couple weeks ago and I started eating jalapenos. They're hard for me to eat because I only have top teeth LOL but I slice them then and munchem anyway. Hey Johnny, I have recently been watching your videos and man I got to say you are truly an inspiration. Because of your videos I recently started my own journey on “chasing the heat”. What really inspired me was the video of yours you where you said how learning to deal with the pain of the peppers also helped teach you how to manage other things. At least That’s what I took from what you had said. Starting my journey as helped quit drinking and focus on something else.

I've lurked for about a year now. My wife got me into hot foods just a few years ago and I still don't really think I have a pallet yet, BUT I continue to learn and try new things. This channel has given me a place to be ignorant and have fun. I always enjoy seeing a pepper I've not had and get someone who can tolerate the pain describe flavor profile, and do it with such a positive attitude. Thanks chase the heat for being awesome.

We just got a pepper Palace in Altoona Iowa but they only sell the salsa. Been trying to get my hands on Fresh California Reapers I have the dehydrated ones. A couple of my friends have the devil's door they said they're going to give me one but still waiting on the back. Ed Currier. I watch him a lot can I watch the Bell life and few other people how to watch Annabelle live today and they mention your name they eat your peanuts.

i had a pepper garden in the 70's and 80's and ordered seeds from around the world (pepper gal in florida was a source i remember). I quit when Ghost Pepper (bhat jolikai ,sp?) came out. I could tolerate it but it ruined many meals and you could not give them away. I can not conceive the level of latest hybrids but assume only good for challanges and not for spice in a meal
Got some nice jalapenos and a bottle of Exxxtra picante El Yucateco habanero sauce today at my local grocery. I know that small beans but its a good stepping stone for me I think. Looking forward to working those into my meals and then transitioning to being able to handle them stand alone. Cant wait to get my tolerance up and start trying some of the more serious gourmet chili products. Love your ethos for the channel by the way!
