- Shaun and Ed are two real idiots - and then one day they get caught up in a zombie apocalypse. The comedy "Shaun of Dead" tells the story of the two buddies and also provides lots of funny references to successful zombie horror films. The film was shot in London in 2004 - in this video I show you the locations 20 years later.

Great video! Were you able to get to each place via underground or did you have to walk/bus/drive?
I love that at 7:07 you see the hi-vis service worker and you managed to capture another hi-vis service worker at 8:11 😂
14:35 I'm not a Brit, but I reckon that a sign like that might be saying "caution, intersection without a control (like a stop sign or signal)". But I reckon it was really just placed there for the scene of having a crash.
The sign is "caution, there is a sign post here", which he obviously didn't see.
I can't believe I've sat through 20 mins of a video about a trashy horror film. But Matthias is very engaging and enthusiastic.
Just a few points to note. Those windows that poke out into the street are called 'bay' windows. A sure sign that when they were built, the houses weren't for the hoi polloi. I live in what's called a 'flat fronted' terrace. The windows are in line with the houses and the door opens onto the street.
Bollards can be a couple of things: cones used to mark temporary road works or 'no parking'. Or permanent cylindrical barriers to prevent vehicles going into pedestrian areas. I'd say the brick structures either side of the gates are pillars or columns.
I'd say the reason for some of the changes is that the homeowner was compensated for filming, so spent some money on improvements.
I don't think that Unilever who owns Cornetto has paid to be in the movies.
The store I always have heard of was that it's kinda an inside joke between Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Edgar Wright, and comes from that when Edgar Wright university he's hangover cure was to eat Cornetto Ice cream
I just got finished watching Hot Fuzz with the same actors on Amazon Prime. Great movie. Actually Shaun of the Dead is on Amazon Prime right now too.
