What a fabulous presentation. The example snaps plus the succinct explanation really bring home tilt capability. I’ve watched and read a lot of t/s and really do think this guy nailed it. I realize is was 6 years ago but thanks!!
Excellent presentation on the TS lens, I have leant so much more from this one session than many of the others. Thanks. (Shame about not being able to hear the audience questions)
Great talk - lens resolution. In all my time I've never heard of this. All I hear about is sharpness etc. This makes more sense in how you explained it. Thank you
Excellent Presentation, to the point , can understand what he is doing , Only if more people had photography as a hobby- they would be healthier - no joke - you are using your mind - walking around and staying out of trouble....
I'm using tilt shift lenses since...well long enough... It's difficult to explain what's the benefits of a tilt-shift lens to people that they don't earn money using them. I have the same conversation over and over with many professionals, the just don't get it. Photoshop fixes everything for many. Great class,i knew all the information but is great to hear it again from a different person
Regarding "aside from the question before - could we do a vertical shift and a horizontal shift at the same time" (31:28), that would simply be a diagonal shift (in other words, the addition of two vectors is another vector). We did not hear the "question before" - it would be helpful to repeat any questions asked off-mic.
repeat question then answer and do not ask audience if they understand with questions at the and incorrect readings are not in mirrorless. 1.2 to 1.4 is half a stop
27:52 an f1.2 lens is not a stop faster than f1.4. It's half a stop faster. A full stop faster than f1.4 is f1.0. www.slrlounge.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/F-stops2.jpg

Thank you for this, but I had to turn off after 5 mins. The audio feedback makes it very difficult to listen to.
the sound cleared in few minutes.
He had the audio person correct the feedback not too much farther into the video.

This was a great video... but, was that lady asleep in the front row?? lol
Yes! Information overload I'd say!
Thank you for your presentation
Could you please tell me the brand and magnification of your loupe?

I'm sure he knows it,it's just the speed of saying what you need to say in a time frame. I do mistakes as well when i'm teaching, especially technical

Great video! Horrible audio
As a sound engineer, the uncorrected feedback made this video unwatchable.
F this sound is horrible
