Just off-chance, do you know who it is with the copyright claims? There is someone going around making copywriter claims while it's obvious that they are not the owner or holder.
Thanks for pointing out the NBC site. I've been trying to find the series on CBS/Paramount, because it was a CBS series. It didn't occur to me to find out the original production company, which was Universal (NBC).
The Interactions between Control and McCall were some of the best parts among many. Back in the day before copyright and lawyers there were vids with the excerpts of just these 2. Acting Extraordinaire. Why is good productions like this no longer made. Top Notch acting against a 1980's City of New York Backdrop with a CIA-MI6 (and others) in the mix. My goto show from age 19-24
This show was produced by Michael Sloan, who wrote 17 episode for it. When he produced Kung Fu: The Legend Continues (and also wrote 28 episodes for), he cast Rober Lansing as the foster father of the great grandson of Kwai Chang Caine, and kept dropping hints that he was also Control.
So I notice the other post Edward Woodward equalizer clips showing up those series lack the special something and are no short no shoes not the right trench oat no🎲🎲dice

@@LordTalax That would be 1980s New York. Different bars and clubs catered to different regulars. To be fair, if an older white man who had the air of authority came into a Black bar in the same time period and said he wasn't drinking, he would have gotten the same rude response by the bartender 1sam-ef said would have happened to a Black dude at a "white' establishment. A white dude in a Black bar in 1980s New York with the air of authority,would be pegged as a cop or a Fed.

@@terrortower666Thank you. It's so silly, IMHO. The show was in the late 80s and can never be bested, not even by Denzel Washington or Queen Latif.

I love this scene. EQ had the most excellent casting people.
