    I Hit 110k today. Thank you for all the knowledge and nuggets you had thrown my way over the last months. Started last month 2024. Financial education is indeed required for more than 70% of the society in the country as very few are literate on the subject. thanks to Brooke Miller for helping me achieve this

      I'm surprised that you just mentioned and recommended Brooke Miller, I met her at a conference in 2018 and we have been working together ever since.

      The very first time we tried, we invested $1000 and after a week, we received $5500. That really helped us a lot to pay up our bills.

    A central bank setting interest rates is central planning. Change my mind!
    Why don't we let the market figure out the price of money? The government has no idea. They create bubbles and then try to pop them continuously.

    When you discuss the sector representation (within the index): Is that a function of RE moving significantly lower and tech sideways? Or has tech up in absolute terms as well and by how much?

    Weak consumption - well if you just had to take a property haircut to net worth you would need to trim purchases and work harder in the factory to earn more to save - makes consistent sense from an internal view. Surpluses are deflationary, exporting deflation, Im sure the Russia trading bloc benefits, the ai says "Chinese car brands overall have seen explosive growth in Russia, with their market share rising from less than 10% of new car sales in 2022 to over 40% by the end of 2023"

    • @RogerYeahmon
      @RogerYeahmon Місяць тому +1

      the more "The West" (aka the US Empire) shoots itself in the foot (weaponising the dollar, "punishing" non-conforming nations outside the empire, stealing assets, interfering in elections etc), the more the "Russia trading bloc" benefits.. why is there a 30-country waiting list of nations divorcing "The West" wanting to join BRICS?

  • @yr6178
    @yr6178 Місяць тому

    Hi Joseph, can we get to know the report for the coming USA interest rates affect on the market as what happened last week? Why when the Fed dropped such a big rate cuts of 50 basis points, the market rose? Thank you very much.

  • @The_Laid_Off_Life
    @The_Laid_Off_Life Місяць тому

    The EM divergence thought:
    As BRICS offers oil, commodity and other contracts in the parallel system (yuan and rubles) this reduces the export of US inflation and the need for US dollars in general
    The slow decoupling is actually working its way through everything and avoiding and abrupt market dislocation and USD hyperinflation (for now)
    Russia and China will slowly push forward and keep growing while USA just keeps dragging along with inflation. We may be on the Japanization pathway for the stockmarket as well. Time will tell

  • @Cecilia-

    can we get a rebalancing here in the US too omfg. big banks, monopoly corps, the wealth gap, etc

    • @RogerYeahmon
      @RogerYeahmon Місяць тому

      IMO, the wealth gap is largely due to an education gap.. financial education (how to use money to make money etc) is not taught in schools, maybe for a reason..

    There is no WMD in Iraq.
    The USD is WMD.
    Will there be an alternative in October when BRICS meets, and If so, how much will it affects USD and Gold ?

    • @RogerYeahmon
      @RogerYeahmon Місяць тому

      exactly - the WMD in Iraq was the Zionist invaders.. well, you've already seen gold rally like mad and surely the risk remains to the upside.. WW3 and the risks to the USD are brewing nicely

    so ping doesnt want to battle the deflation and wants to add to it, great idea, 1929. And as we all know, slashing interest rates when theres no demand from borrowers to borrow, is absolutely pointless lol. Enjoy Dear Leader, enjoy.
    By the way these charts you are showing, like the disappearence of VC funding, this is the kind of data you see when a nation is collapsing.
    The advanced economies cant hike, especially Japan as you pointed out, interest expense, so the private sector remains stagnant or the government gets bigger and everything becomes unproductive, great economic policy.

    I think we crash with in a month ... but really max about 2 weeks. The FED will slam the rates down really fast and then start QE. Then we go into the second leg of inflation, which will cause assets to surge in price, and they we enter a hyperinflationary depression where the dollar is near worthless because of all the money printing and the markets crash for years and years. We might actually see a whole new form of monetary system. My advice to anyone feeling the heat in this inflation, just trade long term more than ever, I have made over 520k from day trading with Adriana Jensen in few weeks, this is one of the best medium to backup your assets incase it goes bearish..

    Joseph, normally enjoy your content, but as a Chinese, don’t you know Jack Ma tried to leverage many banks in China for his own Alipay’s financial interests? Surprised you made such an wrong informed statement.

      Even if Jack Ma did something wrong, Joseph’s point still stands. There has been a crackdown on private enterprises in China to remind entrepreneurs who is in charge.
      In the US, you don’t see Elon Musk being disappeared for criticizing the government.
