I don’t agree with him stating people should go “all in”, but I do think a quarter of your portfolio should be exposed to China (be safe and go etf’s), so you can capitalize if there’s a rum higher in the next 5 years. Be aware of all the risks associated with investing and China and never ever invest more than you’re willing to lose in anything you decide to invest in.

HK hit record turnover on Friday US58B. Investors foreign and local investors have voted with their money. David will make a ton of money, deservedly.

The flaw here is that the stimulus is nothing compared to what the US did during COVID and only a fraction of what China did in the GFC. It's not going to do much for bottom lines, but it will excite the market.

Lol you can't be short, when economy is weakening (and rates are getting cut as a result, and people are scared of inflation going back up), market is near all time highs, recession risk is higher, etc? Now is the EXACT time to at least start building some short position.

I went short S&P500 and long MSCI China. So far, so good. I wouldn't want to be short American stocks richt now though, without having a net long position on global equity. I just expect Chinese equity to outperform the US in the near term.
