Really interesting. Good welds, nothing a little grinding won't do for the aesthetics. There is just something about a regular guy in his garage working on things that he is passionate about...I.ve done it for most of my life and still doing it today. Go with the 8k winch. It won’t have to work near as hard as doubling up the 5k winch.
