I love this immensely. I saw them at a festival along the lakefront in Toronto that I just stumbled onto, right around the same time give or take a week or two, in 2012. Given how I still remember is and so fondly, it must have been one of the best days of that year. :)

Wow. This brings me back. Not sure what shamrock is noticing in these comments, but this seems pretty spot on. I wasn't the biggest Spirit fan back when I was in my 20s - was too busy with other realms of music drinking Big Rocks and making sarcastic comments at the back of their concerts while my girlfriend went off and jounced around in the enormous bouncing dance pit - but now that I have a wife and baby it's frankly great feel-good kitchen-dancing music. Uplifting! Dare I say: a beautiful thing these days. I can see why all those people got their feet dirty in the mud sidestage at folk festivals while I got wasted wishing I was a Slint concert.

I live in Las Vegas and this song came on one time at a phony Irish pub and a select few people lost their goddamn minds. They were the Canadians.
