Oh yeah, I am happy for you Peter that you are going to Thailand for a long time. I was there just over two weeks ago, and it was awesome as usual. I might get to see you there.
Listening and watching your channel/stories for a couple years. Would be nice to bump into you in Bangkok. I’ll be there next week until I get kicked out 😂
Thanks again Peter hopefully I can get you a story or two shortly. I will be in Bangkok on December 1st hopefully you're still there and we can have a beer.

Another great video Peter, your storytelling has brought me great pleasure and a wealth of information and advice. I’m going to Thailand November 1st, for the fourth time. I intend to spend a year exploring and deciding if it’s the place for me to retire, if I bump into you I will definitely buy you a beer or 2 in return for your efforts.
Hey Peter, I'm a native speaker and a teacher. To the subscribers asking you to slow down I recommend they download the episode in mp3 or mp4 format using a 3rd party app. I never watch the episodes. I listen to them (mp3) while out and about. My music player -- the garden variety Samsung default player (and also my video player) allow the user to customise the playback speed. I listen to most content (interviews, panel discussions, etc.) at 0.9 speed. US political commentator Ben Shapiro's content requires 0.8 in my experience! I find it more relaxing and enjoyable as they often speak too fast for me. But you're fine! I play your content at 1.0 normal speed.
Hello. I love the meditative moves of the waves in your colorful background ... and keep watching what they do: They come and go and come and go and come again and go again and .....
I learned earlier in the week that I just may be THE biggest Thailand Bound fan ever. In the wee hours of Tuesday morning, I dreamed I was watching a story episode! You were reading the story of a guy who came to Thailand in the early 80s and fell in love with a Thai woman. But alas, everything came to an end when he made her lose face. 40 years later, he still couldn't get her out of his mind, so he decided to return to try to find her and make up for what he'd done. Tragically, I woke up before the story ended, but from comments you've made about losing face, I have to think that if he did find her she told him to get lost before her Thai mafia friends had him at the bottom of a river in cement over shoes 🤔🤔
Now your taking me back Peter to when mobiles just made calls and texts !!!!!! You found out things the hard way or fun way 😉back then 😂 great stories my Mann
Hey Peter I hope that you enjoy yourself on your upcoming trip. I have just returned from two months in Thailand - a few trips to BKK but stayed mainly in a gated community in the hills of Hua Hin. i went to Khao San Rd last Thursday and it was totally dead. Almost no where to have a beer outdoors during the afternoon, so many hotels and even the ibis Styles is completely closed. I have also paid for lunch for the police a few times. The last time was a few weeks ago, when I stopped at a red light (near a police box) then proceeded to turn left. The police were behind in me in a second. Previously, you were allowed to do this. Unfortunately, they had recently changed the sign and I wasn't aware. Really enjoyed the last story. Interesting things do happen in the sleepy town of Hua Hin. Yes, interesting the standard of the rooms/apartments that Thais will live in - difficult not to make judgements.
If people think he's talking to fast, they can adjust the Playback Speed in the settings menue (cogwheel symbol) at the right bottom of the screen. I usually set the speed to 1.5x. Settings of 0.25x, 0.5x and 0.75x also exist, however.
Never leave your drink in the table without friends' supervision. Either drink it all or bring it with you. Also, when you are going to the dance floor just take the drink with you. If I'm his friend I would bring him home.
Good shout on those 'friends' - if your mate is sick, you have a responsibility to get them home and safe. How many people are 'falling off' balconies in Pattaya, for example?
Hi Pete. Just listened to these 5 stories while walking to and from Tesco’s 😃. As a usual, all were interesting - hope you don’t run out when you are in Thailand. Cheers and take care 🍻
I went to a bar on soi 6 pattaya and I work up the next day after being drugged. You might ask why I would say that.. I can and have all of my life drank beer.
If you are low on stories can you not use the old stories starting at episode 1 for those who have not been in the channel since the start and adding some new as they come along
While I'm ok with paying bribes to locals to avoid a conflict, but I would not pay the bribe AND take responsibility. I would pay the bribe to say I wasn't responsible.
Realizing your friend's drink has been spiked, you should call the ambulance and tourist police. Full stop. Insane to just sit him alone(!) into a taxi.
When I lived in the UK.a friend of mine said that, A good jazz band was on in Liverpool So we all went out to see the band But all the night clubs were full So We found a rough black night club They did not want to let us in I told them it was my birthday and we would not cause any trouble So they let us in But the beer tasted like water and was double the price Then they asked me what I would like to eat curry or stew I thought if the beer was so expressly and the beer watered down how much would the food cost They told me it was free When I ate some I had Micky mouse running around my head So I realised the food was full of drugs Just incase the police raided the club
Those were not good friends to let that guy go to his hotel alone. Some 35 yrs ago I was drinking and playing pool in well known redlight district in Australia. I was with friends but went from normal to waking up in a police lock up. They found. me passed out in a park near the hotel. Wallet shoes and watch gone they had no choice but to lock me up. Later my friends laughed about this and said I had just left without telling them. That friendship was short lived . I never found out the who or why. Since then I have never left a drink unnatended ever. Good selection Pete. I actually like your comments bit after each story and wish you would do more analasis. But It may mean the whingers come out and tell you to stop craping on. I however feel that would do the stories more justice rather than "Ok lets jump straight into the next one" . Just a thought.

Again great video but your UA-cam model reminds me of a pyramid skeme everything good when the people keep sending stories but eventually you gonna run out. So please start to diversify. Maybe videos off foreign friendly bars and a look inside massage parlours. Because it would be a shame if you run out and have nothing to post x
Peter I love this channel! You must keep telling these stories. I have no complaints bout anything with this channel. I just love the stories.
Wow, thanks

And that he spoke to them at the gym 5 days later...

There is a playback speed function on UA-cam to speed up or slow down the video speed
True but it's in 0.25 intervals and often it makes the video sound weird at 0.75 as it slows it down too much.
Great stories Peter and well read 👍🏻
Thank you Damon.
You didn't even listen to the stories yet. He posted 5 minutes ago and the video is 40 minutes long.

They could slow down the video speed also. I listen to everything on youtube at 2x but they also have .75x if you talk too fast for them.
Youre right Peter they are some pretty selfish friends. Lucky escape for him in hindsight.

Ice is normally okay
