It's considerate of you to bunch up the towels and strip the beds for housekeeping. I'll remember that next time I stay in a hotel. At the B&B I stay at in London on my final day I always leave a £20 note taped to the mirror.

Happy New Year! My husband and I flew to Texas for Christmas …didn’t have any trouble with the flights. We should have stayed in Texas… walking on the beach the next day freezing in North Dakota.

Let’s say you were offered a job with United Airlines AND JetBlue, to work as Ramp Agent, which airlines would you say is best? I don’t know which to pick, was given an offer for both, but they’re soo similar that I’m struggling choosing one.
I can’t speak on the ramp as they have different everything from inflight. I always tell people to make a pros and cons list based on what’s important to you. Pay, contract, hours, retirement package, 401K matching, profit sharing, specific duties and responsibilities, etc. Don’t go my airline name, choose based what’s really important to you. Hi Courtney, what is the career path for a flight attendant. From my understanding it is an entry position and just wanted to know the next step should you desire career advancement. Thanks
Each job description is specific, but most require at least 2 years of customer service experience as well as a GED or high school diploma
@@CourtTooFly I could be wrong but I think she was wanting to know what one can do with an airline when they no longer want to be a flight attendant.
This depends on the airline. Supervisory position is the easy answer. For example, some airlines consider certain positions like the training department to be lateral, but others consider it to be an assignment or even a promotion. It’s not considered entry level in the traditional meaning at my airline
I think I would just move to Denver if I couldn't get a base spot in ATL. Commuting is a pain and time sucker. My husband is pilot and after 2 years we finally relocated to Dallas (his base) although it's less than my ideal choice, but it greatly improved his quality of life and our time togeather. Looking back, I should have agreed to it much sooner. But Dallas certainly beats Charlotte which was the other option he could have gone to.
Commuting can be those things, but I’m not moving right now. I have another career. I’ve always commuted, even with my other airline.

So you're saying you're able to come and go, commute, as needed on the days you choose to go and come from Atlanta? That's really good odds, if so. Helps me to know it's more of a possibility than I was originally thinking because again I don't think crashpads would be my thing.
@@TOBEYTOO32 She specifically asked about my hotel budget and I don’t get more than 2 rooms in a month. I go several months without getting a hotel room. I’ve never had a crashpad in DEN and haven’t had a crashpad since 2018. I did have a private room at one point. You’ll figure out how to make it work based on your specific circumstances. The idea of paying a couple of hundred dollars for one when I pay rent for my apartment back home as well. Is it possible to find out what you do pay for a hotel room in Denver? I have an application out presently with your airline and could very well also be based in Denver. Can I also asked on average how many hotel stays you may have in a given month? Many thanks!
