I made those Crisco candles last year and a little trick I found out was to use a birthday candle as your wick. You just melt your grease and then as it starts to harden pop your candle in the center! Glad you are safe, God bless
Great video my sweet friend, This is a great list. I need to go back and rewatch and write down what I don't have. I am so thankful and grateful you guys are alive. God is good and he protected you and kept your roof on your house. Love you 🫶.
Great advice my Bestie. Is there anything that yall need and cant get right now. I have been watching videos from other places down there and I am so glad yall didnt get hit like the other places. God Bless you my Sweet Friend.
@marylovecountryliving , thank you. No, we know just how blessed we are. That's what I meant a couple days ago. Your emotions take such a toll. You don't know how to marry the feelings of what you went through and experienced with the feelings of gratitude of what didn't happen and what you have left, sadness over what you, your community, and those around you did lose, and guilt and sadness over what happened to others. It's like explaining to your child what it's like to be a parent. They understand it to a certain extent, but don't fully comprehend it until parenthood happens to them. I mean, all three of us nearly missed our own road coming home the other day because things look so different now. Still, I can't imagine not having a road or community period to come home to. How does one begin to recover from that? I can't wrap my mind around it. We still have no power or water, but there are so many crews here working tirelessly. It's just going to take time. There is so much damage and so many trees that have to be moved. There was no one even here for the first several days to do anything from my understanding. The governor was here in our town yesterday. We have what we need, praise the LORD! Food and meal distribution sites have been set up around the community. I may have to drive a bit, but I can get out and get what we need now. Jake is able to get water in our large water containers at his workplace. We are so blessed! Thank you, sweet friend!
