Today, while on the net I saw that there will be a documentary about the Ventures called Stars on Guitars, being released via DVD, blu-ray, and video on December 8, 2020... I believe Don's family produced it. Excited to see it!
Never a dull moment......listening to them since the sixties......wonder why their 1967 released 'mirrors and shadows' and 'on the road' are not in any of their concerts or other postings on youtube......the two numbers came out on a 45rpm vinyl and i remember even then they were rare and we were the only ones who had it on our collection of first eleven records as our parents bought their first gramophone in 1969....HMV Fiesta ....a mono player that cost 250indian rupees paid in 50rupees as down payment and the rest in 8monthly-instalments o rupees 25 each.......aaahhh 1 what a time it was.....the beach boys, the champs, the monkees, the beatles, elvis , the shadows , all of those ......AND .....when it came to action music.....THE VENTURES keeping us family of six in full spirits always. Thanks to youtube and these Japan Tour videos of theirs keeping me high every now and then.......its' like I can actually 'imagine them play right here' where I am.

I'm a bit disappointed that they don't play Mosrite guitars anymore. I spent countless months and years in my bedroom working on luring every song they recorded so yes i'm a big fan.

doll kyoto 去年見たんですね。私は福島県ですが、埼玉にて見ました。会場付近狭いし駐車場まで狭くてセダン車大変でした。今年からはジェリーマギーが来れないそうです。
