I'm listening 🎶 in 2024, who else? I'm 66yrs old now but back in the 70's and 80's I saw Santana 3 times I Chicago, Illinois and it was a great experience . Back then tickets only cost $15 for perfect seats. Not now of course! The sound was incredible! This brings me back to my youth. Carlos Santana is a great guitar 🎸 👌 👏 player and fast. He put on an amazing performance 👏 that I won't forget.

I’m 77 and still listening to Santana. Saw them live at Baltimore civic center in 8/1970. When the concert began they locked the doors and everyone lit up. They closed with Soul Sacrifice and played it for nearly a half whil3 everyone danced in the aisles. It was a great time to be young and have the greatest music as a background to your life!

One morning in the San Francisco Bay Area, I was dropping my son off at elementary school and this version of Black Magic Woman came on the radio. I didn't want to get out of the car, but I had to so my son wouldn't be late. As I walked down the street, several other vehicles were parked with their windows open, all playing this song, as parents walked their kids to school. Such a mesmerizing performance! Took my pregnant sister to see santana in columbus ohio about1982. They played this song she stood up and started dancing. One of the only ones in audience to stand and dance!! Carlos shouted out to her..yea go mama!!

I saw this original band when I was 14. What a sensation they were in the San Francisco Bay Area. We were so proud. They were playing at the local state college. Able to see them again with the first appearance of Neal Shoen. We were interested because he was 16 like us. Damn! We were into some good stuff as kids.
I'm 69 & say it time & time again, ive lived trough h experienced the best musicians & music the world will ever know. There's always going to be hoardes of newbies loving what we have had musically, but we've experienced it not just listened to it. Folks we were so darn lucky

La Computadora ayuda a hacer solo los SONIDOS pero no las notas, (Bueno yo asi lo hago) Primero compongo las Notas por Guitarra pura y luego las paso a la Computadora,... y Aún asi necesitas saber de Música (escala, armonía, etc) Lo que me refiero es que las Computadoras son SOLO una herramienta más, tampoco hay que satanizarlas. Obvio a mi Tambien me Encantan los Grupos como Santana en Vivo porque de ahí he aprendido mucho. ( de Hecho toco muchas Canciones de Santana sola en Guitarra en fiestas y reuniones)

El o ella sólo se paran con una guitarra y un micrófono y el resto lo acompaña la computadora. Estoy de acuerdo contigo, es una muy buena herramienta y me alegro que hoy en día pueda usarse así. I saw these guys when in San Antonio in 81 or 82. At one point in the show, there were 16 musicians on stage. To think all of those people were contributing in harmony was awesome. Carlos Santana is a band master I'd there ever was one.

Always loved these songs. My older sister listened to Santana everyday. We shared a room. Since i am 9 years younger she didn't allow me in the room to listen to music. So i would sit on the floor outside my room and listen to wonderous Santana. She turned the volume up full blast so everyone could hear it whether you wanted to or not. Of course i wanted to hear it.

I never realized that Carlos Santana didn't sing vocals on Black Magic Woman but rather Greg Rolle. He has a great voice!
He also sang lead on the first 3 Journey albums.
I don't recall Carlos ever singing anything. He was too busy doing something else.

I saw Santana in concert several years ago. His band performed for 2-1/2 hours nonstop. It is one of the very best concerts I have been to.
@Retired for Good That Gig must have been one of their shorter ones. I listened to them live in the mid 80s and they played far over 3,5 hours.

Yo hago Musica por computadora pero NO es preFabricada...
La Computadora ayuda a hacer solo los SONIDOS pero no las notas, (Bueno yo asi lo hago) Primero compongo las Notas por Guitarra pura y luego las paso a la Computadora,... y Aún asi necesitas saber de Música (escala, armonía, etc) Lo que me refiero es que las Computadoras son SOLO una herramienta más, tampoco hay que satanizarlas.
Obvio a mi Tambien me Encantan los Grupos como Santana en Vivo porque de ahí he aprendido mucho. ( de Hecho toco muchas Canciones de Santana sola en Guitarra en fiestas y reuniones)
@@AriannaEuryaleMusic A lo que me referí al decir “música prefabricada” es a que hoy en día a un músico y/o cantante le basta una laptop y un gran equipo de sonido para amenizar una fiesta o evento… y suena como que si un conjunto u orquesta completos estuvieran tocando. El o ella sólo se paran con una guitarra y un micrófono y el resto lo acompaña la computadora. Estoy de acuerdo contigo, es una muy buena herramienta y me alegro que hoy en día pueda usarse así. Saludos.

I saw these guys when in San Antonio in 81 or 82. At one point in the show, there were 16 musicians on stage. To think all of those people were contributing in harmony was awesome. Carlos Santana is a band master I'd there ever was one.

This was around the year I graduated high school,1969. This was a very special time for music. It was a hopeful time, even though Vietnam was going full blast. We thought we could change the world. But I guess that's an ambitious goal for people that were stoned most of the time lol

Always loved these songs. My older sister listened to Santana everyday. We shared a room. Since i am 9 years younger she didn't allow me in the room to listen to music. So i would sit on the floor outside my room and listen to wonderous Santana. She turned the volume up full blast so everyone could hear it whether you wanted to or not. Of course i wanted to hear it.

Oh come on! I love Santana, too. As he's local (San Francisco), I've seen him live several times. But there's excellent music coming out today. The music world didn't suddenly stop 50 years ago! The drugs certainly didn't, either.
