Not just "a companion". He first met up with the second Doctor, and appeared with every Classic Doctor from then on, to one extent or another - particularly #3 and #4. The head of UNIT, he rarely travelled in the Tardis, but became one of the Doctor's closest and best friends. The reason for the call-out to him in this episode is because the actor who played the Brigadier, Nicholas Courtney, died shortly before the episode was made, so they are paying homage to one of the great stalwarts of Doctor Who. For those of us who grew up watching the Brigadier with the Doctor, this was a very touching moment.

Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart was THE companion in Classic Who, the actor, Nicholas Courtney, passed away in early 2011, and they gave him a tribute in this episode. He has a LONG history with Doctor Who, most prominently as a series regular during the 3rd Doctors time. They played off each other so well too. Brigadier following the rules, the Doctor constantly breaking them, he tells the Doctor to not do something so the Doctor does it. They were besties. :) What I loved most about the character is how unfazed he was about everything. He's been around the Doctor long enough to have seen it all XD
Brigadier Lethbridge Stewart was an old companion of the Doctor's during the classic episodes. He interacted with the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 7th Doctors and was one of the founders of UNIT. The actor who played him, Nicholas Courtney, died during the filming of this season. They added in the phone call scene to pay homage to him and to have the show truly say goodbye to him.
Brigader Lethbridge Stewart was one of the Doctors old friends from classic who. He is mentioned again in Power of Three. Also, not sure, but I think he is the person who created UNIT!
No, the Brigadier didn't create UNIT, but from it's inception he was placed in charge of running the day-to-day operations. He still had to report to higher ups and make requests for things like air strikes. UNIT was under the command of the United Nations, so technically the secretary general would be the one Lethbridge-Stewart answered to.
I am not sure if this was answered or not, or if you already know, you asked a question when they went back to the lake. “Who is that guy?” He is Canton Everett Delaware III, the man in who worked for the president that the Doctor worked with in Impossible Astronaut and the episode after that. You just saw him at a younger age, and he was much much older on the beach when the Doctor had to die. That’s him in the future.
Brigadier Lethbridge Stewart was a long time friend of the Doctor through many incarnations. He was the original head of the British branch of UNIT in the late 1960s and throughout the 1970's. He worked with the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th (Briefly in a TV special and a full story on Big Finish), 7th, and 8th (Only in Big Finish) Doctors. During the 3rd Doctor's exile on Earth he worked extensively with the Brigadier and his staff. The Brig has been mentioned briefly in new Who, and he did guest star on the Sarah Jane Adventures once. Around the time this episode was filmed the actor who played The Brig (Nicholas Courtney) died. As a fan of the Brigadier, I thought it was really nice that they decided to address it in the show. RIP Brigadier Lethbridge Stewart. A wonderful fellow! And one of the Doctor's longest term friends.
The older guy in the back is the "old" Canton Delaware. The young one was played by Mark Sheppard, which you know, and the older version was played by his father, William Morgan Sheppard. (Edit, just found out William Morgan Sheppard passed on January 6 of this year, 2019.) Lethbridge Stewart appeared in classic Who, first appearing in the role in 1968 with the second Doctor, Troughton. Although he played another character with the first Doctor, Hatnell. He became a more permanent fixture when the Doctor was stuck on Earth having had his ability to use the Tardis removed for the third Doctors run. (Pertwee.) This was actually more about saving money than anything since staying on Earth was cheaper to film. He is often called The Brigadier, though originally he was a Colonel. With Tom Baker taking over as the 4th Doctor they were moving back into more episodes in space, and he only appeared in 2 serials in 1975. (The show was a serial back then, usually 4 half hour episodes with a cliffhanger each episode) He came back for a serial in 1983, as well as the special The Five Doctors that included 3 living doctors, somebody playing the first since he had passed, and unused footage of Baker since he didn't come back having just left the series. He appeared once again in 89 with the seventh Doctor, McCoy. After the original series was canceled there was a special made for charity in 1993, Dimensions in Time. This featured The Brigadier, and Doctors 3 though 7. Since he has been in a couple other specials, and voices his Character in a Doctor Who video game in 97. (It looks like it uses the same engine as the game Doom.) Most recently he appeared in The Sarah Jane Adventures as Brigadier Sir Alistair Lethbridge-Stewart. (2008) Did a fake interview as the character in 2009, and interestingly a video in 2013 also within the Doctor universe, but without the Doctor in it. I believe they would have brought him back also, but the actor passed February 2011. (Which is why the 2013 video is so interesting.) I have a feeling you would like Sarah Jane Adventures. Unfortunately Elisabeth Sladen also passed in 2011. Just 2 months after him, both from cancer. (Sorry to end this on a sad note.)
I was a doctor who fan since I was 7 (39 now) and I now watch it with my daughter (who is 7 now). We have ‘Doctor Who night’ every week when we sit down and watch an episode. I love it. She loves it. It’s brilliant.
The phone call that made The Doctor sad? That was Brigadier Sir Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart. The Brigadier was mainly a companion of the Third Doctor, but was in various episodes with Doctors 1 thru 7 (if you count Dimensions in Time) and last appeared in an episode of The Sarah Jane Smith Adventures. The actor who played him, Nicholas Courtney passed away around that time. :-(
Regarding Brigadier Alistair Gordon Lethbridge Stewart (retired), apparently he was to have appeared in season 4 in The Sontaran Stratagem/The Poison Sky but the actor who played him (Nicholas Courtney) wasn't available for filming. The Brigadier was briefly mentioned by the 10th Doctor in that episode where it was then explained that he was stuck somewhere in Peru. Also, as likely already mentioned he appeared in one story of The Sarah Jane Adventures.
Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart was the head of UNIT in Classic Who and one of the show's longest running recurring characters. The actor that played him had died during the filming of this episode, and they wanted to acknowledge that in some way. He was very beloved by fandom.
Nicholas Courtney, who played Brigadier Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart from the '70s on, died while this season was filming. It was another heartbreaking loss for the fandom, and one that the writers used to magnificent effect here. The Doctor and the Brigadier weren’t exactly BFFs - they had a couple hard ideological differences, but they had a deep mutual respect. Hearing about the death of a man he thought so well of, brought reality down hard on the Doctor. The Brigadier never would've run, and he'd certainly have had some words to say to the Doctor about all the running he's been doing (snippy, to the point, someone get the burn cream, words). I liked the Brigadier and hos relationship with the Doctor, and this scene was really poignant. Very well done.
Your Doctor Who reactions popping up in my feed always bring a smile to my face because I just know I'm gonna see pure joy and it makes me happy. Thank you for sharing with us.
And that ending monologue is one of my favourites in Doctor Who; just the idea that 'that' is The Question is amazing and that great speech just gilds the lily.
It's so genius to me, even if a bit cheesy/meta. It's literally hidden in plain sight, we've seen it every time we watch the show. My jaw dropped when I first saw this episode.
Fabulous reaction. Amy and Rory did raise her in a way, she was Mels remember. Your Outro’s are such a mess I love them! Farewell series 6, bring on series 7 that’s going to be a real rollercoaster! 😁
And your comments about looking forward to kids and seeing them watch shows for the first time made me realize why I love watching reaction videos. Kids never quite turn out the way you think they will. Sometimes people get lucky, I guess, but mostly, they think everything we parents do must necessarily be lame, and go the opposite direction. So I like finding others just discovering things now and seeing them be amazed, as a replacement. Thanks for taking the time to react to these.
Steven Moffat once joked "No, I won't ever stop killing Rory". Remember earlier in the season when River warned about the fall after the Doctor is raised to new heights? That's Shayla in this video right now.
If u r still confused about the man who showed up when the doctor "died" he was Canton (the actor who you LOVED(edit: Mark Shepard(just went back to that episode to check)) from the future!
I really enjoyed your reaction here. I was waiting for you to see that "River Song didn't get it all from you, sweetie" because I think your analysis of it was on point. River is very much a mix of her parents, and I loved how you described Rory. That's the best description I've heard of him. Also, make sure you take a break at some point (you'll know when) because it's important to just sit with it for a bit.
It’s so nice to watch a reaction from someone who just really loves and appreciates the show as I feel like it can takes most people a while to truly “get” doctor who as a show cos it’s just so wierd. Love your post episode thoughts too. Looking forward to season 7!x
You really are zipping right through the show! Can't say that I blame you; it's very binge-worthy. This episode was just a lot of fun: getting to see a lot of old faces again with time all happening at once, seeing the Doctor and River get married (which totally counts even if it was an alternate timeline), the ending... I love it. :) I'm glad you enjoyed it as well. Very good observations about River picking up traits from Amy and Rory. On to season 7!
The moment around 4:00 is such an odd one for me. It’s incredibly powerful if you know who The Brig is, but he’s hardly if ever been brought up in Modern Who up to this point so I have to imagine it was completely out of nowhere for a lot of fans. Such an insular moment to hinge The Doctor’s turnaround on.
Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart was a companion of the 3rd Doctor. His name comes up now and then in the series, you don't need to watch the old series just know that the Doctor cared for him.
I love your take on where river got her protective traits from, I never even thought of that, so I have learned something from you . Some of the best episodes to come but buy some extra tissues x
I just can't wait to see more of your reactions, I love seeing you watching dw, and even if I have seen those episodes times and times, and much more happened since, I feel the goosebumps and I have tears as when I first saw those episodes. So good to have a show that make me so emotionnal, and I love to see those emotions through your eyes too
I know this is real late but I skimmed through the comments and didn't see it but, The old man on the hill from "The Impossible Astronaut" that brings the can of gasoline is Mark Sheppard's character as an old man.
Geez, Shayla. I'm scared for you in these later series of Doctor Who. But don't worry, we'll be here for support in your reactions. This is one of my favourite finales because of the storyline. I love River too and to finally have her and the Doctor get married to save the world is absolutely beautiful. Then to see a few of their adventures in the minisodes is just the icing on the cake.
Season six done! You've come so far, and I'm beyond happy you've grown to love this show as much as we all do! Looking forward to season 7 with anticipation!
I know others have stated it, but... Brigadier Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart was occasional companion and an Earth-based military contact during the classic era of Doctor Who, who initially met the Doctor in his second incarnation involving a Yeti, and was subsequently placed in charge of a UN based military governed investigative, defensive, and responsive task force known as UNIT - before what you see in the current series. His mention in the story is partially as a tribute to the original actor, Nicholas Courtney, who passed around that time as well. Courtney did reprise the Brig in two episodes of The Sarah Jane Adventures a few years before this episode aired, and has had on screen interactions with six Doctors - One through Five and Seven. There was a plan to get him to meet the Tenth, but they fell through, although he was referenced being elsewhere during the Tennant’s Sontaran two part arc. When the Third Doctor was exiled to Earth for most of that incarnation, the Brig hired him on as a scientific consultant - a title that he would never actually resign to this day. Basically, he represented an option of a military response (mostly armed) when The Doctor needed one, saving The Doctor from several tight spots over the years, but was also a friend that wasn’t afraid to call him out on occasion when it was necessary. If you want to know more, watch some Patrick Troughton, Jon Pertwee, Tom Baker led Doctor Who. For the record, I am glad you enjoyed this season. But just wait until you see the next one - you are in for a treat (as well as a little heartache) because it leads up to the 50th Anniversary event. Just be cognizant of the prophesy mentioned in this episode. Like the blue guy said: it’s all still waiting for him. That said, it’s on to The Doctor, The Witch, and The Wardrobe!
Not everyone's favourite this but I like it. The scene where we discover the Brigadier had died was a lovely moment for classic Who fans, seemed fitting that it both took the wind from 11's sails but also made him face up to reality (the Brig was a very no-nonsense type of guy, 11's denial and empty bravado in the face of time's inevitable passage wouldn't have washed with him). And loads of great lines as well as Amy showing where the iron in River's bones _really_ comes from - Scottish women are fierce ;).
I hope no one criticizes you here for not knowing who the Brigadier is. I also didn't know when I watched this episode for the first time. But after I saw the classic series, I watched this episode again and cried a lot! I recommend you to watch the classic series if you can. You don't even need to record the reactions if you don't want to.
I actually didn't remember the Rose Tyler line. On to season 7 and the build-up to one we're all waiting for... crazy to think it's been 6 years since the big anniversary. Can't wait!
"I love this, I love that, I love him, I love her".... smash-cut to Shayla watching the episode with the shop-window mannequins... Who would have thought, right?
Just a correction for those saying the Brig appeared during the 3rd doctor. He actually first appeared during the 2nd doctors run. And made his last apparence during the 7th doctors run. He's been casually mentioned in modern who starting with 10 in one episode where he says "Times like these I wish the Brigs was here."
I’ve been waiting months for your reaction to Day of the Doctor.... it’s so close now :) I hope you react to the minisode ‘Night of the Doctor’ beforehand as well!
“The Next Doctor” is a spoiler. “The Doctor’s Daughter” is a spoiler. “The Husbands of ______” is a spoiler. “The Day of the Doctor” doesn’t really give anything away lol but yeah best not to mention titles in advance
The Brigadier is from classic who, very famous, very popular and the actor unfortunately died in real life and so his character got an onscreen send off.
Talking of watching things with your kids, a couple of decades ago I watched 'Easy Rider' with my son. I have rarely seen him so emotional about the ending. He didn't like the drug references, but he couldn't understand my explanation of why what happened, happened. He recommends films for me now.
"I just watched season 6!" You are soooo adorable :) To anwser your older question, who is the old man who turns up with the gas cann at the beginning of Silence, when the doctor is thought dead, I THINK that is meant to be the older version of Crowley, when he was the FBI agent. I could be wrong but I don't see who else it is meant to be. But hey, great reaction. Still so much to see. :)
The writers included that little bit about the Brigadier because the actor (Nicholas Courtney) who played the part had just passed in real life. The Brigadier's first appearance in Who was when Patrick Troughton played the second Doctor, he then became a regular during most of Jon Pertwee's run as Doctor #3, and then reduced to appearances during the early years of Tom Baker. After that, he was almost never seen except for a special or two. His last appearance in the part was in the Sarah Jane Adventures.
The foreshadowing at the end is just incredible! And I won't tell here, in which episode it happens, but I still think, people give it WAAAAY to less credit for what it actually contains and acomplishes. I mean, just listen to Dorium's ramblings at the end! IT'S ALL IN THERE!!
You are correct though it's more accurate to say that he spent the majority of the time with the third Doctor as the Brigadier's first two encounters was with the 2nd Doctor. He also had two adventures alongside the 4th Doctor before he retired from UNIT.
@@anonymes2884 yes, although that was the second time he helped the fifth Doctor (and others) as he also appeared in Maudryn Undead. He returned once again to help out the 7th Doctor, which also featured the return of his beloved Roadster Bessie
Brigader Lethbridge-Steward was a former companion of sorts in classic who, never actually traveling with him but assisting with many episodes. I believe the 3rd 4th and 5th doctors dealt with him most
(Sorry for the repeat comment on twitter) I just wanna say that I really love your doctor who reactions, it's great to see another whovian (yes you are one!!!!!!!) enjoy the show so much! Hope you continue to love the show in future seasons as 12 is my favourite doctor!!!!
Apologies for the slightly late comment (I've been away), but I just wanted to echo what other commentators have been saying about the importance of the Brigadier in Classic Who; especially when you consider that, while most of the Doctor's classic companions in particular had their time in the Tardis and rarely if ever reappeared after that (except years later in tie-in media like Big Finish, etc), the fact that the good old Brig was something of a reassuring recurring presence across several of the Doctor's regenerations meant that it must have been even more of a wrench for him to suddenly lose one of the rare stabilising figures in his lives, yes? Plus, the character himself was just awesome in an old-school British way - and excellently portrayed by the late lamented Nicholas Courtney to boot - I mean, how can you not love someone who, when confronting one alien beastie in particular, just says 'Chap with wings there, five rounds rapid' as calmly as if he was ordering a pint in a pub? (I won't say in which story it happens in case you wind up reacting to Classic Who yourself at some point, but trust me, it's well worth waiting for, yes?).
Well... From an American Doctor Who fan, since 1976, I loved Matt Smith's run on the show. My Doctor was Tom Baker. We had 3 channels total in 1976, and thankfully one was our local PBS, which broadcasted BBC shows on a one year delay back then. Once they had broadcast that years series, they would fall back and show the first 3 Doctors series, so during the mid-70's I spent my Saturday afternoons watching 3 to 4 hours of Doctor Who as a teenager. So, my Doctor has always been Tom Baker, but I enjoy watching them all, especially Matt Smith. David Tennant was awesome, but Matt had something truly amazing playing the role. Have fun delving further into the world of the Doctor, and as always, take care... Roonok

"My friends have always been the best of me." That is one hell of a line. The character that got mentioned as having died, The Brigadier, was a big character from classic Who. Every Doctor since the 2nd one has interacted with him. He is up there with Sarah Jane as a well loved character.

Loved the reaction! 🙂 So, while it makes me smile when you have trouble ending your video (I don't make many UA-cam videos, but I can relate as far as having trouble ending things goes), you really need to relax when you get to the end of your recording. We're going to love the video simply because we already love watching you! You're a really fun person to watch things with. All you need to do is just say, "see ya next time" or what tends to work whenever you really land it with "see you in the next reaction". Don't stress over it so much, we love you no matter what you say at the end! 🙂
I must say the best reactors tend to have the same qualities with different emotional reactions. Channels like Shayla or Sesskasays, Blind Wave or JocelynRP, they tend to have raw emotional moments and truly sympathise with the characters, there's nothing forced. The emotional reactions are different and that's why we watch different channels but they all love the show's they watch.

And his real Dad.
He’s basically the Kate Stewart of classic who
He's Kate Stewart's dad
Yeah no shit
@@liamw3240 Kate Stewart is a series 7 thing... Like, isn't she? So, SPOILERS!!
The older guy in the back is the "old" Canton Delaware. The young one was played by Mark Sheppard, which you know, and the older version was played by his father, William Morgan Sheppard. (Edit, just found out William Morgan Sheppard passed on January 6 of this year, 2019.)
Lethbridge Stewart appeared in classic Who, first appearing in the role in 1968 with the second Doctor, Troughton.
(The show was a serial back then, usually 4 half hour episodes with a cliffhanger each episode)
He came back for a serial in 1983, as well as the special The Five Doctors that included 3 living doctors, somebody playing the first since he had passed, and unused footage of Baker since he didn't come back having just left the series.
(It looks like it uses the same engine as the game Doom.)
Most recently he appeared in The Sarah Jane Adventures as Brigadier Sir Alistair Lethbridge-Stewart. (2008) Did a fake interview as the character in 2009, and interestingly a video in 2013 also within the Doctor universe, but without the Doctor in it. I believe they would have brought him back also, but the actor passed February 2011. (Which is why the 2013 video is so interesting.)
I have a feeling you would like Sarah Jane Adventures.
That's fantatsic!
"I could go to all of Jack's stag parties." Even this version of the Doctor wants to hang out with Captain Jack Harkness.
I once went to a theatrical showing of this episode and met someone there who had never seen Doctor Who before.
It is interesting how a younger Doctor learns a lot with River Song. But, younger River learns with a wiser Doctor as well.
The Brigadier was an old OLD companion of the Doctor, he met pretty much every Doctor ever, he was pretty much his best best friend.
I've just finished season 6 again. I was so sad because of season 11 that I had to remember the good days.
Thank you for taking the time to watch!
River Song was raised by Amy and Rory. Although, they didnt realize that Melody was actually their daughter pretending to be Amy's friend.
Steven Moffat once joked "No, I won't ever stop killing Rory".
Remember earlier in the season when River warned about the fall after the Doctor is raised to new heights? That's Shayla in this video right now.
He so smart. This is why The Doctor is the best hero because he always one step ahead of his enemies.
If u r still confused about the man who showed up when the doctor "died" he was Canton (the actor who you LOVED(edit: Mark Shepard(just went back to that episode to check)) from the future!
And played by Mark Shepard's dad.
Thank you!
It’s so nice to watch a reaction from someone who just really loves and appreciates the show as I feel like it can takes most people a while to truly “get” doctor who as a show cos it’s just so wierd. Love your post episode thoughts too. Looking forward to season 7!x
What an emotional rollercoaster of a finale! I felt the same way you did when this season ended. Always love your endings! Lol
3:14 ‘The Fall of the Eleventh’
Yes? Someone said my name??
Love your reactions! I've had the pleasure of introducing DW to all 6 of my now grown up sons, they all enjoy it but none as much as me! lol x
Reminder the first time we see River is wearing a spacesuit
That scene about the Brigadier was very sad for us old school fans of the classic series. It almost made me cry.
5:25 Of course they do the creepy-ceiling-thing! 11:20 And now you know the question!
His name comes up now and then in the series, you don't need to watch the old series just know that the Doctor cared for him.
keep going these reaction videos are amazing!! almost make me feel like I'm watching it again for the first time!!!
The name of the parfume was Petrichor ( the smell of rain on the dirk, remember? the episode witht the soul of the tardis ) :)
@13:27 actually River grew up for quite a long time with Amy and Rory as her best friends :)
Loved this reaction. I really hope you are doing one for the christmas special that followed this season. Keep up the great reactions!
I never realized they brought back the actor who played Charles Dickens in season 1 with Eccleston at the beginning of the episode. That’s awesome.
I actually didn't remember the Rose Tyler line.
On to season 7 and the build-up to one we're all waiting for... crazy to think it's been 6 years since the big anniversary. Can't wait!
The brigadier is one of the doctors companions from the old who
The old guy that showed up there that day was Canton, in his later years.
Spoilers
SGlitz How lol?
OH YES!
Patience. The moment will be prepared for soon enough. And we’ll be there to see her reaction every step of the way.
I can't believe you've finished series 6 already it's going so fast!!!
Talking of watching things with your kids, a couple of decades ago I watched 'Easy Rider' with my son. I have rarely seen him so emotional about the ending. He didn't like the drug references, but he couldn't understand my explanation of why what happened, happened.
He recommends films for me now.
"I just watched season 6!" You are soooo adorable :)
To anwser your older question, who is the old man who turns up with the gas cann at the beginning of Silence, when the doctor is thought dead, I THINK that is meant to be the older version of Crowley, when he was the FBI agent. I could be wrong but I don't see who else it is meant to be.
But hey, great reaction. Still so much to see. :)
Your upload is fine. I’m so glad you enjoyed it. I love this season. Your reaction was great!
I've never enjoyed reactions until I found yours. I really like to watch a nice person watching a amazing show. It increases my experience too.
Thank you so much!
And now kid, this is where it gets complicated!! :)
SGlitz And we cannot wait to see her react. Love these!
@@Agent_1701-D oh, the spoilers....
Brigadier was from the 3rd doctor era, the actor died. So it was a good way pay tribute to a great companion.
You are correct though it's more accurate to say that he spent the majority of the time with the third Doctor as the Brigadier's first two encounters was with the 2nd Doctor. He also had two adventures alongside the 4th Doctor before he retired from UNIT.
@@LanceHerod-n5d And then returned to help out the 5th Doctor (among others) in 'The Five Doctors'.
I believe the 3rd 4th and 5th doctors dealt with him most
I love how Amy drew jeff instead of Rory
Wow. Another fabulous reaction, Shayla! What a season, right? What an amazing storyline!
(Sorry for the repeat comment on twitter) I just wanna say that I really love your doctor who reactions, it's great to see another whovian (yes you are one!!!!!!!) enjoy the show so much! Hope you continue to love the show in future seasons as 12 is my favourite doctor!!!!
I swear to god when I heared him say I can help rose tyler with her homework I knew to come straight to you reaction🤣😂
Brigadier Lethbridge Stewart is one of the most important doctor who characters. He created UNIT and was one of the Doctors greatest friends.
Roonok
Absolutely brilliant reaction.
My brain hurts too. Love your reactions. In love with your internet persona...
Doctor Who?.... Doctor Who?....DOC...TOR...WHO!
i have used tor before
I say this to myself a lot.
@@JustSoShayla is it wrong to say i love you and your reactions. i don't know how else to express that. i look for your reactions daily. also subbed just in case :)
Iconic quote. Whenever I read it, I hear his voice in my head too.
(I watched so many fanvids that now it's seared into my brain xD)
@@SlendyFLM No it's not! Thank you so much :)
I see it's been mentioned but Brigadier Alistair Gordon Lethbridge Stewart was the Doctor's oldest friend on Earth, first turning-up in '68 with Doctor *2. He appeared with *3, *4 , *5 and *7. His final appearance was in an episode of Sarah Jane's show.
Even though I've never seen classic who the Brigadier still made me cry
Remember the first River episode? "Silence in the Library" that's how they got river last episode
"My friends have always been the best of me." That is one hell of a line. The character that got mentioned as having died, The Brigadier, was a big character from classic Who. Every Doctor since the 2nd one has interacted with him. He is up there with Sarah Jane as a well loved character.
"Doc...tor WHO??" Love it. :-D Yeah, I think S6 is my favorite full NuWho series. I don't rate things normally though, but it's the one I have the most fond memories of the most episodes.
Doctor Who is the oldest question hidden in plain sight.
I never understood why people fawn over UA-cam stars until I met Shayla 🥰
respect
Awe thank you :)
Love that you are loving Doctor Who so much.
There is so much bonus material I hope to see you react too. If you chose not to do such reactions, be sure not to deny yourself of them. Doctor Who really does go the extra mile with it's bonus content, Including full 45 min behind the scenes shows for up to this series and lots of comedy extras that killed me off lol
Loved the reaction! 🙂
So, while it makes me smile when you have trouble ending your video (I don't make many UA-cam videos, but I can relate as far as having trouble ending things goes), you really need to relax when you get to the end of your recording. We're going to love the video simply because we already love watching you! You're a really fun person to watch things with. All you need to do is just say, "see ya next time" or what tends to work whenever you really land it with "see you in the next reaction".
Don't stress over it so much, we love you no matter what you say at the end! 🙂
Awe thank you :)
I love how the question was do obvious but so hard to figure out. It really was hidden in plane sight😊
Yes!
Oh wow thank you :)
@@JustSoShayla Anytime and thank you for replying. It's refreshing to watch UA-camrs who thrive on their audience and enjoyment, too many people sell out and try to appease, as unfortunate as that is.
@@TheNovelGamer No matter how big I may get, I want to always reply to comments. This is why I do this, the comments are the positive feedback are the things that keep me going :) So thank you for watching!
The Brigadier was an important character alongside nearly all the classic doctors
he worked with 2-4 and interacted will ALL of the others, if you add it all up he was there for about 15 years of the original 26 year run, there is NO other character ,played by the same actor, who can make such a claim!!!!
here we go season 7!!!!! one of my favorites
