I guess you missed her point and want to create your own comforting narrative in your mind. In lots of male dominated spaces, females are purposely excluded because they believe they are inferior. This can be seen in the more modern examples she's given. If you discouraged from joining a certain field, do you believe they'd perform just as well as the people who are encouraged?

I work as a game tester, albeit from home. Most of my coworkers are men. They are the most competent, sympathetic and nice guys I've ever met. Ironically, a few years ago I worked in a pet shop and we were only women. Our manager was the biggest, nastiest snake I've ever met. She was extremely manipulating and had a victim complex, to the point that all employees left.
this works both ways tho. both men and women can be shitty ppl. girls can be the nicest or snakiest people ever. And guys can be super sweet or literally so evil as a "joke".

I'm 29 actively dated for 10 years and my exes HATED me for being able to have fun and be peaceful. and honestly this can be said about women in general, they despise it when a man's not on the grind, I see it all the time. my mom's doing the same to my dad, my grandma is doing the same to my grandpa, and I see it even in my relationships of my friends, on the streets, on the internet.

I agree. I never understood why some women like their boyfriends/husbands to be miserable. My husband and I are gamers and we also enjoy different hobbies, but it's so strange when he tells me about how miserable his coworkers are, because their wives are constantly arguing with them. Sure, the opposite is also available, since I knew women that were ab*sed or basically kept on a leash in a relationship.
But the thing is, your life will be better if you enjoy and let your partner enjoy things in life.

Hahahahah, I remember when I was younger and gaming, gamers were seen by girls as the absolute loser virgin nerds, and gaming was laaaaaaaame af and "how can you stay in front of a computer all day". Sometime in 2010's it became trendy to play video games, and then suddenly all the girls that used to call us nerds, virgins and losers did an 180 and became "omg like I'm like a super nerd" gamers, playing forever in the lowest divisions and waiting for the cringe white-knights to carry them to the higher brackets.

This might not mean much, but after watching a bunch of videos from this channel, my mindset has changed. I’m not supposed to work out for a while so I stopped that and I started walking 2 hours (10k steps) a day. Despite sticking to that for a while and even having a small injury, all I can think about is getting more steps in and staying on that grind. Got a back brace today and now I’m walking 30 minutes twice a day, and I can’t wait until I can get back to working out again, too.

The only reason those spaces became an issue was when people who refused to adapt to the culture of said spaces insisted on forcing their way in - back in the early 2000's hopping on to a multiplayer mode of any shooter type game that allowed mics meant you had to be prepared to hear trash talk and swearing.
On top of that, she completely ignores the positive attributes of those spaces.
