The tripling is probably making a "good" paycheck, not an excessive one.
Doesn't mean he's not bluffing for the camera but the triple salary is possible without tanking the company.
@@raho500 you wouldn't believe how little waitresses make, especially if they work part time, it's one of the worst and most underpaid jobs you can possibly have, even if it's full-time. The vast majority quickly quits it because they are paid basically nothing.

No, this is not a "boss", this is a LEADER. Anyone can be a boss and boss around people telling them to do this and that and yell orders at them, but try and see how many can be a leader, almost no one and why so few actually succeed in being respected and having a company people look up to to work at.
I still remember this episode and this clip, it never gets old seeing an a-hole being humbled. Your employees are humans with lives and feelings, not robots, treat them as humans and give them what they deserve, fairness and they will stick with you and you will only grow because of the good image and reputation, I have seen so many cases like this, where people would do insane stuff to work at a company because of well treated, RESPECTED and paid everyone was. There are still many companies here that are like that but so many people seek them because of the balance and respect they offer you almost can't get hired. If companies treated people like humans with respect, livable wages, then maybe not everyone would be so tired and burned out from work stress, not being appreciated, and so on, sometimes this type of treatment causes permanent psychological damage in most people.
I know this, I live in one of the worst countries on earth to have a job, ask anyone if they are satisfied, almost no one is, we are disrespected endlessly, screamed at, fired for no reason even if he had a legit reason to miss the job like medical emergencies and so on, I remember a lady that got fired because she needed a week off after giving birth and she was put to work until a few days before giving birth! This place is insane. No wonder nobody wants to work here, it's not lazyness, we want to treated fairly and as humans, not to mention we would so much our only free time is 1 day per week, IF YOU EVEN ARE CONCEDED THAT DAY TO BE OFF, and you are so tired you can only sleep.

@@thatverseguy Brazil, it's all you need to know, we are slaves, not workers, and they can fire you whenever they want with no reason with no prior notice even if you had a legit reason to miss the job with medical papers to prove it, and pregnant women working until weeks or days before they give birth and worst of all, everyone thinks it's beautiful and "hard work," being legit worker, like bro, most of us don't have any free time aside from the time we have to just sleep. We started a movement to end this and give us a life outside the job because we are so severely overworked and underpaid but I don't think it's going anywhere. Brazil ranks in 1st for anxiety disorders in the whole world every year for this, and many other reasons, the stories about jobs conditions in Brazil are awful, just awful, reading them just destroys your soul knowing what people go through, reading why want this 6 day work to end, if they even are able to get their day off, is terrible. Many people work 12+ hours a day every day for months with no day off, no lunch at workplace and many times standing up with bosses who humiliate them and only pay them because they have to, and of course, they are all minimum wage, meaning if they could pay you less or nothing, they would. Many people start to contemplate life at some point, severe burn-out, anxiety, depression, physical damage, psychological damage from overwork, stress, lack of sleep, rest... in most cases people suffer to a degree that scars them beyond any help or repair a treatment can offer.
This country is no joke, I don't understand why foreigners move here when everyone dreams of leaving this place forever and never stepping foot here again.

I was also treated bad by my boss when I was pregnant, so to me it's baffling that there exist people that take advantage of you in your most vulnerable state. Managers should be kind and understanding to pregnant women and those with kids, not bully them. How heartless can you be...

WTF. The boss didn't show any better example than the toxic manager. The boss is ultimately responsible for the managers that he hires so it's no wonder the situation was allowed to occur in that organisation. Fix the situation, sure, but you don't need to become a bully to do that.

Here’s a couple of examples of when sticking up for yourself pays off (both in the same place, by the way):
1. I spoke to the deli manager to make her aware that someone had broken one of her shelves where they keep chips. She got angry with me and said “You know what!?” I said “WHAT!?” and she said never mind and walked away.
2. My store manager at the time (who was a complete a-hole, by the way) after deciding it was time to yell at me for the 50th time I just decided I’m not in the mood to deal with that and walked away while he was talking to me. The guy never tried talking to me again and transferred to another store within a couple of weeks.
Long story short, don’t put up with people’s BS. If they let you go, then it’s not your problem anymore. There are good bosses out there who will appreciate your time and effort.

Guys, I want to share my story. 8 years ago I left my home country at the age of 30 coz I had a shit job and I can only find another shit job. I worked hard and established a great career that I could never imagine 8 years ago, everyone told me it is not possible because I don’t speak their language and I am foreigner, but I still did it. Now I am more settled, but I look around, I am all alone, and now 40 years old is just 2 years away from me, I start to look for someone can share my life. Guys, when u work on yourself, don’t forget to look for a partner that could share your life (don’t simp), time flies fast.
