Koranos I recommend watching 'Pantheon' a series by AMC studios that deals with a very similar concept. And the ending will blow your mind, in many possible ways. I loved it, I hope you will too.

The fact that the universal speed limit, the speed of light, is extremely low compared to the size of the universe is kinda sus. It's as if they don't want us wander too far or we'd hit the wall.

To be fair, if the speed of light anymore higher than ours, mass cannot form as easily. So it's a trade off
quantum mechanics in general makes sense if you look at it as a videogame engine,particles being in a superposition and the probability wave collapsing when a conciousness is observing is sus as if the universe tryes to load the data into the memory for faster rendering and displaying the correct data when an entity is looking,entanglement also seems like the universe itself can comunicate at any point regardless of the speed of light and the speed of light is just a limit for the computer to render reality for the entities observing.

Another concept: what if a post-human species decides to put themselves through a simulation with hardship to properly develop things like morality and desirable traits because hardship has become so rare in such a future?
There is a movie about this called Bliss. I love it.
This channel is literally gold. A new favourite of mine, the animation is so smooth the narrator is on point. Notifications on max, subscribed instantly and liked the video.
This brings up an interesting answer to a question I have, if the seeable universe really is a simulation it would explain the expansion of the universe, it was programmed so that way we would never be able to interact with more than what the simulation can handle,working like a loading screen hidden behind a cutscene
I think this channel will go places. Your illustrations are the best I have ever seen and the videos are super high quality. I like the idea that the universe is still rendering in the background, and at this point is racing against our advancement. Maybe some distant future engineer will invent something that can really stress test the fabric of our reality.
I keep thinking about that line in The Fault in our Stars, “Some infinities are bigger than other infinities.”
If we lived in one of the virtual realities, it would be like a virtual multiverse that goes on infinitely. But then the people who created the multiverse might be in a multiverse as well. So it’s kinda like a small infinity in a big infinity.

The ending segues nicely into my personal argument - if we ARE in a simulated reality, then does that really change anything?
I don’t think so. Unless we can then prove that humanity is alive on the other side, then there’s no real reason to worry about this being true. It’s not like our reality would just fizzle out after finding out - that would be counter productive to the simulations longevity.
The fact is, it’s a fun thought experiment, but unless we can give ourselves admin privileges, there’s no real benefit confirming our simulated-ness.
Admin privileged is probably what we thought the founder of Many Religion, like Muhammad, Jesus, Buddha, Or Abraham has.

I have thought of a concept. What if we are living in 1 of multiple simulations. These multiple simulations are being used by aliens to determine if humans are worth creating. and if they did creating humans how would these aliens guide us. This theory would cross with many other theories such as aliens, the multiverse and simulating consciousness
