Honestly... Its very sad that the original group stopped working on the game. But... Its also amazing that a small group of fans were so... in love with the game that they brought it back to life. I hope they make it the way that it was originally meant to be. And... I have complete faith that they will.

This actually looks really good for 2009. If they kept the concept like this it also would of been good on alicia. If they had a game mode like this on alicia that would of been fine by me.

I love this trailer~ I'm grateful for the game being saved and for us to be able to play it today, but just because I'm grateful doesn't mean I don't still wish the game could've had a better chance to be made into it's very best potential that it so had. This game really deserved it. And I think a lot of horse fans really deserved it too

Goodness look how far this game has come. *o* I saw a gameplay vid from 2009 and then looked at one of my own vids from now, and i must say for a good 3 year run this game has improved so much since its first release. And now the game is going to be stepped up to a whole new level! Alicia 2.0! Gametree/Netreev you guys are amazing! Don't stop being amazing! ^^
Every once in a good while, I like to come here and watch this to see how far the game has come since the new team picked it up. I'm also glad they changed the graphics style, the horse animations looked a bit awkward. to me in this video.
You can! They are remaking the game in many languages, including English :) Just go to their facebook page to get all of the information and download it! But you'll have to be patient, the original game was taken off of its servers... so people are recreating it themselves. My thoughts on the game vs SSO: SSO is good, but to me Alicia had a lot more potential it seems, the fantasy element in it is much more amplified and it's good that it could have action and a bit of fighting in it and have an actual storyline..I'm not very far into the quests as of now but most of what you do is racing and breeding horses, not that I dont mind, it just gets repetitive but it has a unique charm to it that draws me back when SSO doesn't. What I mean by this is that Alicia Online is very fantasy and you can see that in the world. There are races where you can use magic, your horses can glide for a short while, theres the elvish style houses with quaint little markets and the big dinosaur looking creatures in the Collins Falls race and the long one-lap race with cherry trees and forests (Sorry haven't unlocked that one yet so idk the name) and the elephants and rhino creatures that run past in the valley race and idk theres just seems to be a lot of world building in the actual game world and it doesnt need (but can use) dialogue to show that. licence
I wish they could have kept this version and just updated the model's etc.. it was more fun back then, its not like I hate alicia these days but its just.. kinda boring without all of this monster fighting and such

@NinyGirlForever An English version will depend upon how well it does in Korea. But last I heard, it was doing pretty well. I've heard rumours of an English version coming out as early as December 2011. Realistically though, it would probably be more like 2012 or 2013 depending on how much translation would need to be done.
It seems to me like Eastern Developers are more imaginative and willing to take risks than most western developers. At least, it just seems that way since most western developers just keep producing the same kinds of games over and over and over.

2018 Alicia is still a open BETA pretty much, so ofc it doesn't have all the old features yet. It has come a long way though these few years.
